Woooohooooo!! Congrats! I've ordered through DDE lots of times. You do have to wait longer than if you ordered straight from Fairyland. So you should probably add about 1-2 weeks longer to your standard 40-60 working days. Unless your Bisou was in stock. Waiting is so hard.

Snow - Looove it! Question? What dye do you use! I've been itching for a Fer but I want a double color (like blue dress green jacket) and so I know I'll have to custom dye it.

Thanks ^^ It's dylon dye. It's the only thing available around here. I think it's similar to RIT dye. I just use the handwash one, where you have to cook water and add salt and such. It's really easy. It either comes in tiny tins or in large packs for in the laundry machine.

 

Oh kpatillo, I'm so sorry! My heart breaks for you. I'm still having bad days remembering my Hassie Ann, who passed over a year ago. I'm sure she's waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for your furball.

Kptillo, I'm so sorry to hear about your doggie. Just hang in there, dear...once the pain subsides, then the joyful memories of all those wonderful years you shared will take over.

Your Chiwoo girl is absolutely amazingly gorgeous! That's a sculpt (as a female) I really have my eyes on these days. Chiwoo makes such a lovely girl.

I love ghost dolls (I have an MSD one in my crew!) They're so unique and fun...and your girl is so perfectly haunting!

That outfit is just too amazing! Those little skulls are pure love.

I've actually considered making one for my Jinn-Jinn because (in her storyline) she likes to hang out around washing machines in the laundramat...and several of her props in her display space would make excellent photo-ops for a mermaid cosplay. I should add it to the endless "to do" list!

 

It's not really massively noticable unless you're looking for it, luckily - Icarus has been wearing new hands for a while now and I barely notice. But I can show you a better comparison (lol). These White twins aren't mine, they belong to my housemate, (and this is a really old photo) but they are a great example. Avery, the Shiwoo, came on a girl body and he is fairly old. Evainne, the Pipi, was bought new last year. Their bodies were swopped so Avery got the brand new boy body and Evainne got the older girl body....

You can see their faces and bodies are slightly different colours if you're looking for it.

Oh I know... I love the little punk outfits she's been doing - one of Ianthe's outfits has those skulls all over her skirt. (plus I have them down the legs of a pair of pants for Hades, one of my BAs, and Janus, my chicline also has a pair of pants with the skullls).

I came home from the vet today (one of my kitties was diagnosed with diabetes so I had to learn how to give him insulin shots) and found this photo on my refrigerator. My daughter dressed Sana & Suzu, took the photo and printed it for my birthday! I thought it was super sweet of her!

I finally got to spend a bit of time with Tegwen today. I've been wanting to try this outfit on her since she arrived. I am borrowing a friend's camera and I have no idea how to work it - and of course because today is my day off work it is raining and stormy so not ideal picture conditions! But Tegwen looks cute despite my lack of skills and the weather!

I'm feeling much better today- hopefully that's the worst of the bug now over with! And my doll's dress has arrived at my hub's place of work- he's bringing it home soon.

 

Resisting is nearly impossible. For some reason, these kids always need someone their own size around.

I love Tegwen so much and she looks great in that white/blue wig! LOL! I hear you about the camera. I just had to replace mine and I'm still trying to learn how to use it. I think it's a great shot of Tegwen though.

Thank you very much! I gave him his first insulin shot this morning and it went really well, I think he and I will be ok! He is special because I found him, when he was a tiny kitten, a few of days after I found a breast lump that turned out to be cancer. So some of my focus was on him and he made me laugh a lot! That was 13 years ago and it seems most of the time like it happened to someone else!

Oh snow! I just adore what you've done with her...she looks so unique as all your dolls do, but just...wow!

 

Well, Maggie got a Lalaloopsy doll. She thinks it is cute but still likes her Tinkerbell better. Forgive the wig, it is actually not crooked, the left side of the bangs are higher for some reason.

Thanks, having a horrible time with a wig for Maggie right now. That was originally for my MNF Eliya. I think I just need to break down and reorder her original one, lol.

And Tink is actually a keychain I found at work. (I work at Disney.)

Lol, it is not as wonderful as everyone imagines. I just started on a new team though. We are a team of 6 people who pick all the pictures for the new The Magic, The Memories, and You shows at the castle in Florida and Small World in Cali. Look it up on YouTube if you get a chance, it is an amazing show.

And I don't mind going down to see if they have anymore. Actually, I think I might even have another one.

I know what you mean. Maggie is Maggie. She is completely and utterly perfect to me and I resist any and all changes, lol. I am going to try to wash and trim her old wig to see if I can make it useable again. If not, I just need to get a new one from Luts. I am sure there has to be a group order somewhere.

 

I stumbled across a couple of these mini dolls at Walmart, thinking they'd be the perfect size for Littlefees. Then came home to find all these postings about them. I haven't taken them out of their packages yet, but I've managed to collect 4 of them so far, between Walmart and Target.

Great minds and all.....

 

I'm trying to figure out if my incoming Elf El should have a fantasy face-up or a regular one. I'm not quite sure of his character or his name yet. He just kind of snuck into my cart when I wasn't looking. I have some normal clothes for him, but I can sew fantasy clothes if I want. He won't even tell me what hair color he wants either. Though he does seem to be leaning towards long hair.

 

I agree. Somehow not seeing her with red hair is just a bit different. I think even her name begs for red hair. To get the wigs a bit more managable, I do the shampoo, let dry naturally and then use the Johnson's spray on detangler. Seems to help with most wigs.

Hey Randi, they are the perfect size for littlefees! I have four so far too but I'm trying to get all 8 of them. They are just so cute with these kids!

Everyone: can I request prayers, happy thoughts and good vibes that my tax refund comes through?
I just finished my paperwork today, didn't expect a refund, but it says I'm getting one...not a huge one, but one that will make it possible to maybe order Souji's Luna in time for MY birthday. Hopefully, I didn't just make a huge error, and actually OWE that amount.

 

I've been helping a friend decide who to get as her first LTF and took these Ante pics today to help her. So here's some 'drive by spam' !

 

Ah!! Double dose of Ante! I hope my tax return comes soon so I can have dolly money again, too!

EDIT: I don't know how I missed it, but I did indeed get my tax returns back! I can definitely afford to get a LittleFee and probably a few extras, too!

 

thanks for your sweet comments about Tegwen - and to answer a couple of people - I think her dress is an Another Space outfit but I haven't seen another brown one on their site. I bought it second hand last year.
