Tee Hee...Ban, I'm so excited - I think she's wonderful!! I went out and bought TWO mini-LaLaLoopsy playsets...one for Melady and one for RuRu(name?) as welcome home gifts for the girls (yeah all these LaLaLoopsy pics have been very enabling!!). 'Course then I felt guilty that the boys weren't getting anything and I saw some mini eraser toy trucks and planes and automotive type thingy's so I bought those too. I'm glad Melady is enjoying her vacation up north!!

I have to agree with Ban - a few days away and my head is reeling with just how much there is to catch up on! After a few days away I'm looking forward to spending some time with Tegwen. I came back from holiday to find she'd got together with the little girls and drawn up a shopping list of needs and requirements!!

Needless to say, all your eye candy is gorgeous. I do so love the ability of fairyland girls and boys to take on individual personality - I still swear they do it better than any other company!

 

I'm with you on that, honeythorpe! Plus the posability - sometimes I fall for another companie's face, but the stiff bodies just hinder me from buying!

 

No one seems to ask for Lishe spam... or comment when it appears, otherwise I would share my girl more often...

Thanks everyone, it really does fit her face better---I find it hard to settle on wigs with bangs because they hide those sweet little faces! I really like the yellow wig because it's totally Sailor Moon...I suppose I'll keep it for when she does SM cosplay? XD

It was my first time ordering from hiblythe, I do recommend, the LTF dresses are as great as the pukifee dresses (I had to get one for my PKF too lol ^__^x)

Bunny...who's name is reverting to Ljiljana...or is it? Demands more pretty dresses!

EDIT: Since I only have a PKF and a LTF and they're my first resin babies....how would I know if they yellowed? Is yellowing actually yellow, lol? The extra hands I purchased are ever so slightly a darker/pinker tone. But it could just be because they're from a different batch...?

 

how long have you had your ltf? the hands are a different color mostlikely becasue its from a different batch.

 

The resin doesn't really yellow as such, it goes a creamier colour - (and occasionally FL have slightly different batches). I can't show you an example in NS, because I only have an example of that with Pukifee, but I can show you in WS.

Icarus arrived in November 2009, and as you can see, he's clearly creamier than the smaller Seth, who arrived in late December last year.

101i74 I like the brown wig the best too. The other wig is lovely too, but doesn't seem to suit her as well.

Smotey, I vote for the eyebrows, but then I really think eyebrows make a face look finished. I'm having two incoming RealPukis sent away for custom faceups, and one of the reasons is so that they will have eyebrows.

 

I'm in bed ill today with a horrible virus, so am enjoying all the dolly spam, though I don't think I can comment on each one (so weak! need ice cream!)

I do just have to say, as it is a subject dear to my heart, to Smotey that I do quite like the no-eyebrows look... but for Ash, I vote eyebrows.

Kapatillo, I have nothing new to add in the way of spam so I won't churn out old stuff, but my thoughts are with you. I've lost well loved dogs in the past and it is so, so hard. They leave such a big ol' empty spot.

 

Rini wanted to say to the nice people of DOA. I think this is a better picture of her and she like the hello kitty hat.

 

I'm so sorry to hear about your pup. I doubt much could fill that little hole that she's left in your heart but do know that we're sending you good vibes and thinking of you in your time of loss.

Katrin, your Chiwoo girl is beautiful - I'm repeating myself I'm afraid! I love her best with the grey eyes and the curly black wig - but that's just my 2 cents' worth

 

I really like Lishe too - I'd almost decided on her but then they released Luna and I knew she had to come home to be Alis' sister. I just put myself on an official dolly diet yesterday as I have plans to travel next year and sadly airfares from here to anywhere are crazy expensive. But...there will be a Lishe joining this house in the future I'm sure of it.

DancingBee Your ghost girl is incredible. I like her doll too - I just got some eeny weeny antique frozen charlottes, at least I think that's what they're called but they need some arms as theirs are missing.

I have had my LTF since October of last year, and she was made in August of last year. The hands are also from last year but I don't know what time period.

TPR: Thanks for the pic! Creamy WS is actually really nice. I've seen other bjd's look more yellow-ish but I didn't know if it goes for FL dolls too...everyone makes their resin a bit differently (I think?).

I don't mind yellowing if it just makes skin look creamier/peachier really, it just sucks that I won't be able to match any hands/feet/other unless they're items from roughly the same year, or I suppose from within a year of when the doll was made.

Thank you so much!! Yes, they are called Frozen Charlottes. I bought a bunch on ebay, but some of them were broken when we moved. This little one lost her nose, but I figured it worked with the character of Isabeau/ghost girl. What are you going to use for arms?

Yeah, I was kicking myself for not dressing her in her Tinker Bell outfit. Maybe then I would have braved the endless Pixie Hollow line. It definitely would have made this picture much more fun to take:

It was really cold and rainy most of the afternoon, so probably just as well. We got a two-day pass, so hopefully we'll be heading there again soon.

My friend ordered my LTF boy (Bisou) yesterday. He's still looking for an invoice from them but hopefully it comes today We got him from DDE, but I've never ordered from them so iuno how they work as far as ordering goes. Hope everything goes well and I get my little guy soon!
