Fairyland Feeple60 Discussion - part eight

I noticed of all the previous events/ releases.. F60M Celine and Rin made the most appearance in the marketplace so very soon.
Was wondering why .. also if anyone noticed this

I have a tan Celine and think all the Celines and Rins are really gorgeous

 

Maybe a lot of people bought them thinking it would be harder to get them down the road? Then realized after they arrived that they didn't need them? I noticed the marketplace value on these dolls skyrockets after the ordering period is up, which is a shame it has to be that way. I hate to admit it, but I buy them sometimes in fear I won't have a chance at them again for a "normal price". I adore my celine and rin and they are here to stay

 

Random possibly useful information: I asked FL and they said that Sionna is wearing 16mm eyes in the fullset pics. I am surprised, I thought they'd be smaller!

I agree that a lot of these girls may hit the MP because people buy them without being sure they want them, because of the event/promotion or worries about future availability. Heck, I am interested in Sionna, but I want to see owner pics first, plus I am moving soon. But it is tempting to snap her up . . . just in case. >.<

Oh? How interesting! A F60 Moe male body would be a dream come true for me. But last time I asked, they said they didn't have any plans. Which with Fairyland, could mean anything from "we don't have any plans" to "we're releasing it next month".

Well I'm back at work after 4 months off and am missing my dolls. I know, sad right? By the time I get home I don't have enough good light to take pics of them.

I also was not home when my TS Rin arrived yesterday! I am hoping to get out of work in time to pick her up tomorrow evening. No chance of it today. I just want her home! Though she has no clothes at the moment (bad doll mummy that I am).

Guys - my feeple body from overseas finally arrived! I was seriously sweating this package. It was sent on Dec 16 from Germany and took until YESTERDAY to get here - can you believe it?! Anyway my sister who lives there says they have a bunch of holidays and that's why. Anyway, I'm just happy to gush because my Celine head finally has her own body and she looks amazing. Now I just have to give her a faceup and then I'll be sure to share her here!

Latefa - I noticed a whole lot of Rin and Celine on the MP recently too;I was very surprised, but it makes me kind of sad, because I bought a Celine there a little early on, and paid more than she is now. Curses.

I got mine recently and she already had magnetic parts in, so I think you'd just need to get the feet; don't just trust me on that though, since I'm new - sure there'll be a second opinion shortly.

My Rin arrived but I still haven't opened her 2 days on. I haven't really had the time to unbox her and enjoy her so I have been waiting for the weekend. I also bought her some lovely lingerie from [MENTION=58638]Lylyesp[/MENTION] but I screwed up with my paypal so after some up and down communications, I finally managed to pay and it's only now on her way over to me (Sorry, Lylysep!!), so she may have to borrow her sister's meagre clothes for her debut.

I'm excited to see her!

Could someone give me advise on hybridising my Soony head on another body? Will a DELF head connector fit? or be moddable to fit.

 

Delf head connectors are pretty much the same as F60 head connectors, or F70 head connectors. I've hybrid-ed both ways and have no issues with the fit or the resin match.

(Note: that is the old Delfs, not the new Delfs - the new Delfs won't match resin wise and don't have the neck mechanism.)

Could I also second the question on what other companies will match Fairyland? I'm itching to try a hybrid!

 

The FM60 body takes some getting used to. I feel like the F60 one poses better or easier for me. Maybe it's because I've had the F60 body longer? Also, I have to get used to the shape... things that looked amazing on the F60 body sometimes make my girl look as if she has no waist. I'll have to play with her more, I think.

I second this thought! I never had a regular F60, but I'm not so great at posing my FM60 Rin. She isn't nearly as easy as the minifees I have.
But she is really cute and I'm not sure I'm ready to bail on her yet. Although, if I don't get the hang of some more versatile poses soon, I just may.

Oh no! Don't give up on her too quick! Though if you do decide you hate the body, you could always try finding the original F60 girl body. The posing on the F60 is similar to the A-line MNF bodies. Just as the FM60 posing seems to be similar to the MNF m-line bodies - though in bigger form is harder for me to manage. I plan on taking my down and messing with her more as I can.

Don't bail out on her yet! I never had a regular F60 either, but I do have Minifees. I find my FM60 easier to pose than the Minis. If I put her in a pose she holds it, unlike my Minis that always seem to want to twist their own way. I find the FM60 to be the perfect size (at least for me): not too big, not too small, but just right.

Hang in there. Your Rin is adorable and I especially love the shorter hair on her.
