Fairyland Feeple60 Discussion - part eight

If you go to Compairison Heaven, you can pull up photos of both the MNF and F60 and see them side by side. They have front, 3/4, side shot, back shot, and sitting photos.

 

The normal F60s are larger versions of the A-line MNF, with the same elbow constructions and the like. The Moe-line in both F60 and MNF are the comparisons of each other. You would probably get a better idea if you compared them rather than an FM60 and an A-line MNF.

I thought that'd be the case but, since my current minifee is an a-line I'm definitely wanting to see differences as well. I'm super excited!

Question does Rin have a dark spot on her chin?? And also does Celine have Red patch on hers?? I have seen some pics that show it and some that don't have any lol I am still waiting on mine to arrive but if someone could please show me that would be great

 

Is it the weird blue shadow under her lips? For some reason they blushed that area in blue for Rin's default faceup. She also has the same blue pastel in her eye-shadow.

 

Yes that is what I was talking about i wonder why they do that my little fee mio had that to and I couldn't get past it hopefully it's noat to noticeable

 

The Rin that was with me for a little while had it. It was quite noticeable and it was one of the things I commented on with a dolly friend.

In this picture you can also see the weird blue shading they did above the ends of her eyebrows. Not quite sure why those are there. Maybe just for aesthetic?

 

Is it the full set Rin's? I'm not seeing the blue on my girl. Octavia has the default face up.

 

Been a Feeple lurker for a bit, and recently took the plunge. This is my Piper, she's a Moe 60 Celine and my first SD. I have much work to do on her and I hope she turns out as lovely as everyone's beautiful Feeples here

No, it's not just the full set Rin's. I believe the full set and default faceups are one and the same. Fairyland may have several different artists doing the same faceups though and I would expect that there are small variances in how heavy they do some colours.



My basic Rin has the strange blue colouring under her lower lip and above the outer corners of each eyebrow. The latter doesn't show up too much in this picture, and when she is wearing a wig it is completely covered, but it does look out of place and weird. In fact, when I first noticed the blue above the eyebrows I thought that I had somehow gotten a mark on her. I freaked out and tried to scrub it off with first a white cloth, and then a tiny corner of a Magic Eraser. Luckily I didn't damage the faceup doing that! The rubbing I did didn't remove the mark, but it didn't damage the sealant either.

The blue marks on the faceup don't bother me a whole lot (now that I know it wasn't something I had done!), but the very dark colours around the outer edges of her eyes do. In different lights photos come out looking like she was given a black eye!

 

I think it's part of her face up. I had two Rin dolls. One had the blue spot the other didn't. I think it's because FL uses different face up artist's. But with or with out your dolls are gorgeous.

 

I really love the rin sculpt, I am always so tempted when I see pictures of her[emoji7]

 

thought i should probably share a picture of my girl i've been working on... i've been off SD's for ages, but i've had a thought in my mind for a long time about shelling some of my old D&D characters, which would be better as SD's instead of minis. i always pictured one as being a mirwen and the other as being soony, so when they announced the juri '14 as an elf soony, i was sold

there's more info on her character here if you care to read (or just want to see another pic). i'm hoping i can find time to work on her more soon, to give her a face-up and work on fitting her hooves. i also need to paint the mirwen head that i ordered to get the moe body, and save up to get her a body of her own.

 

Lovely girls everyone. I'd also agree that Feeples are basically giant minifees. I have both (well had both at one point, as I only have mnf floating heads atm), and I rather like both of their sizes. Here's another pic of my Elf Soony, Callas:

 

From all the Rin spam, it seems like they all have different amounts of blue blushing. The Rin I had was from a fullset and the blue on her was pretty heavy in my opinion.

 

Fairyland has always had a tendency to blush blue. Not my Rin, but my RP had blue blushing as well. I think they just choose blue for shadowing - rather than a tan or brown.

Effie's outfit and bow arrived from MOC a few days ago and I was finally able to get a decent shot of her all put together ^_^ She came out a little different than I planned, but I love this version so much better

The Soony is growing on me more and more with the different faceup's I've seen! She looks amazing!

I finally got my first Feeple60 girl! She's a moe body, and she's actually going to be a hybrid (big surprise, probably 50% of my collection is hybrids). I'm super excited about her! I've already got a ton of clothing for her, and some shoes on the way right now. Her head is currently off at a faceup artist, and I need to do some work on her body before it will be suitable for her head, but I'm really looking forward to being able to share photos of her!

and Btw what is the best size for Celine's eyes? Ordered mine yesterday now thinking about wigs and eyes. Don't want to get ones that not fit.
And is there anyone who tried luts or other company with wig 7-8" for feeple60? I know they are quite big and fit some of my SD-girls. Cannot find special green color in 8" size

I have Chloe, Mirwen, Soony f60, and Miyu and I can't get any of them into 7-8s their heads are too wide imo, but then I don't really like to force wigs on. A stretchy 7-8 might fit the thinner headed feeples.

This is Winnifred, my Rin.



Has anyone ordered a Sionna in tanned skin? I just have the feeling she'd look even more amazing in that shade.

I'm about to get my third F60 head in the mail (any day now!!), and I'm wondering if any of you have them on other bodies than the F60.

I have one (Elf Karsh) on a type 1 Delf girl, and the boy (elf Chloe) is floating right now (though he's shared with my Delf El perfectly fine in the past) and I'd eventually like to get both of them F60's of their own...but it's the new one (elf Soony) I need something different for. I'd like a body shorter and more genderless. I have a Volks SD10 boy body I'm going to try it on when it gets here but I really don't see that working....so I just thought someone might have suggestions. Thank you

VampireAngel13 Oh thank you so much!!! xxxx that means a lot! Good luck finding your bodies for your crew! I'm not too familiar with any other bodies besides Delf & Feeple60 in SD size, but I have briefly had Fdoll and B&G.

 

vampireAngel13, I got to try my Juri 2012 on a Mirodoll body this past weekend and it was a nice fit. So nice in fact that we only had to use a piece of a chopstick stuck through the elastic to hold it on. No wobbling! The proportions looked good too. I just wish I thought to snap a photo....

I know it is not really shorter or genderless... but you can tray getting the small bust version and perhaps do a little sanding. It is definitely less curvy of a doll. Smaller hips and thinner thighs.

I have a Dollstown Elf body here I could try, hold on...it's a girl body but it's short, not curvy, and fairly androgynous in appearance (a lot of people do FtM mods on them because it's very easy).

That's actually one of the bodies I wouldn't mind seeing it on. If you don't have time, I actually have one too (as a boy lol) so I can do it when mine arrives....someday (my last doll purchase was in customs for a week. Kind of expecting Soony to do that now). But if you can now that would be so fabulous. 3

I also have two Zaoll bodies I was going to try - one is even modded to be a boy (but isn't. Yeah.). I don't know if any of you have seen that Island Doll Wind genderless body? If it was smaller that would be my winner. I would love more bodies like that! Now that I've rambled myself off every topic there is....*lurks*

 

If you look back at post #873 you will see my Mirwen in a 7-8" wig from Jpopdolls. Jpop and Monique wigs have a lot of stretch, so some 7-8 wigs will fit F60s. It was a little bit of a struggle to get that blue wig on her, but it seems secure.

 

Ah, well my head isn't a Soony, so if you've already got F60 heads and an Elf body, I suppose there's not much point in me disassembling my dolls.

 

So I received my full set girls and I love Celine I am so happy I decided to get her in NS But I am really upset when I went to get Rins outfit out the shoes were not in the box I hunted right through but nope none I have wrote to Denver dolls but I am yet to hear back, has this happened to anyone before? And if so does Fairyland fix the mistake?? Thanks

 

[MENTION=55070]love4dollz[/MENTION]. My Rin fullset art pieces came totally damaged, but nothing was missing. I contacted DDE and they had to contact FL top see what FL would do. They said the pieces would be replaced if I mailed them back to DDE. That all took a number of days. I mailed the pieces back on Dec. 22 and haven't heard a word from DDE since. I'm sure it will take a while. I would recommend you do contact them through email with your order number and all pertinent info. Don't expect a same day reply though.

The Dollzone bodies I have my Juri 2012 and Chloe on seem to be yellowing at the same speed as the heads so I am very happy about that. Juri got a whole new look, while Seeli only got a new wig.

My GO just came in and my fiancé's FS Rin is PERFECT. And I can't wait to put my Luka head on the extra FM60 body! When I'm feeling more adventurous I will have to switch the medium bust from my F60 to my FM60... but not any time soon.

 

I finally had time to paint my Celine and repaint my Lishe! I'm over the moon happy with how these two turned out. I appologise for the badly lit night time photo but even though the days are starting to get longer, they're just not quite long enough yet XD
But I just had to share these two! So happy with them!
