Fairyland Feeple60 Discussion - Part 15

@Nikki'sNewObsession, thank you! It’s such a wonderful color. And it’s lovely as always to see your couples in action!

 

@Nikki'sNewObsession I saw them on instagram and thought they were very sweet! I think I have a couple now too. 2 of my F60s look so good together. He (Erda) is new to me, so I have to figure out his name and his story and she (Cygne) always seemed so sullen that I think she needs a friend. When I got Erda, I sat him beside her and his arm kind of went around her back and they just looked so adorable together. As soon as I get my new room together and my new blinds up (especially the one that is supposed to cover the skylight), I need to post some pictures. At least I was able to unpack some of my dolls and place them in a dark corner.

 

I love it when dolls are paired up, but I only have one pair so far. They just told me they go together, and so far that's the only time it happened (with my big dolls at least)

 

Kiyomi, my Chiwoo, just got his face up finished and I am in love. He feels so much like the Minifee version I used to own but with an updated look? I don’t know. He’s just really cute and I am very pleased with how he’s turned out. I really like the Lookback version of Chiwoo. Fairyland did a lovely job with him.

Joining in the discussion, all of my dolls are definitely either in pairings or family groupings (with @Amet’s crew). I just like them having connections. Even my one singleton is connected up through a family line with the rest of the crew we have.

@Dollquest, I hope you post your couple some time soon. I’d love to see pictures!

 

Hahaha. Oh believe me, I know how lucky I am. I’m so proud of how far @Amet has come with her face upping. She’s worked really hard at it.

I can’t really do dolls with out connections. Sometimes I wish I could because it feels like it would be easier but then again, it’s fun integrating new dolls in with existing ones. I’m continually amazed at how well you integrate your new arrivals with your existing crew, @Nikki'sNewObsession.

 

Has anyone done a photoshoot of their F60 Alan yet? His IG tag is pretty sparse

 

I haven't yet, but I have an Alan on his way to me from DDE and a boatload of clothes to try on him.

 

Welp, Denver Doll has my Chiwoo.... Some time relatively soon I'll get to see in person just how little his head actually is.

Absolutely flat-out hate that Chiwoo.

The head is beyond ridiculously small. The body is just... bizarre. (What the hell is up with those shoulders? o_0)
The one and only good thing I can find to say about him is that the resin color is nice?

'First doll in a long, long time that I've been this disappointed in right out of the box.

 

Hey all! I'm finally getting me dream doll, a feeple60 Chloe in ns! This is THE doll I have wanted since I started collecting years ago so I am unbelievably excited and I just can't think straight lol. Like... if I had been able to get this doll back in the day I think I wouldn't have been trying to fill the void all these years with other dolls It's going to be a few weeks before I get her and I'm trying to prepare for her. I have some things she can wear and hopefully she'll like them but I'm stuck on wigs and eyes. I know better than to make real plans for a doll before they show up but I'm curious:

What default eyes did your doll show up with?

Will a Leekeworld 7-8 wig fit her? I know she's supposed to wear 8-9 but dolls and wigs are weird sometimes.

Please send pics/details of your doll's eyes and wigs? I love Leekeworld wigs so bonus points if your lady has one.

 

I just received my F60 Chloe from DDE. She came with these eyes - They are size 16mm with 8mm Irises. I will probably replace them with 14mm/7mm eyes. The wig is a 8-9" It might be a Leeke World Wig since I often buy those. The 7-8" wig I tried on her did not fit. Chloe has a big head! I included a close-up of her face in the spoiler below the picture. I hope you love her! Chloe is one of my favorite sculpts. (This is my 3rd one. I now have her in Minifee(my avatar), LittleFee, and F60 )

I have seriously been loving all your photos of your Alan on Instagram. He’s so lovely! I hope you post a few here as well! He’s a cutie.

Congrats on your incoming Chloe! She’s a beautiful girl (my wife owned one for years!) It’s a wonderful feeling when you get something you’ve wanted for so long. I hope she gets to you sooner rather than later.

I know my wife’s Chloe wore 8-9 wigs. I think a 7-8 would be far too small unless Fairyland has suddenly shrunk the wig. As far eyes go, she can do either 16mm or 18mm. The 16mm will look smaller.

@Dollquest, your girl is really pretty! Congrats! I love that hair color on her.

The heat here has been sapping a lot of my creative energy but I snapped a quick phone shot of Kiyomi with Setsuka (my Delf IF mod). They look so cute together. I am definitely getting older sister / younger brother type vibes.

 

Awww she's so pretty, those are super pretty eyes too. I kind of like the size but I also can see going down a size, that gives me something to think about. Thanks for the insight!

Goodness, the lookback Chiwoo head is cute! I almost regret not getting one to be a girl. I love how yours is styled, @sephyelysian -- the shimmer and stars with all that black looks fantastic! Your If does look quite nice with him as well, they both have such character.

I can't help but notice that Fairyland's heads seem to be getting smaller and smaller recently. That does seem to be the trend in general lately though, and it certainly is an aesthetic many other people enjoy. I just hope that by the time they get around to releasing the lookback heads I'm wishing for (crossing my fingers for Dark Elf/Human Soo and Miyu), that they don't take 7" wigs!

 

Lol, the magical shrinking Fairyland heads! I suppose if they get small enough we can start putting them on kid bodies.
I would love to see the same sculpts as you. I kinda regret selling my DHS, but I did use those funds to get an AES... so it was more of a trade? Still would like to get another one someday.

I think Chiwoo would make a really cute girl! I know @overlordu is making an El girl with one of her F60 heads. I can’t wait to see how she turns out. It’s nice that we have that option again. I remember when people used to gender swap the old Delf heads. It’s very nostalgic. Thank you very much. @Amet did his face up and I couldn’t be happier with it!

The heads are getting smaller but that seems to be in line with the current dolls they are putting out. From my experience with the Chiwoo head, I do know that an 8 would work best but 7-8 also works. 8-9 is big. So I would probably prepare for one of those head sizes if you do want those sculpts. I feel your pain though! I really want them to release a Dambi and Shiwoo and I know if they do, it’s going to be with a smaller head size. @overlordu has the original F60 El release and the Lookback El and there’s a definite size difference, I believe?

I also sold my Soo and regret it. Here’s hoping that they go through and re-release all of them. And some of the Feeple70 heads too!

 

@Tonboko ~ I think AES seems harder to come by, so not a bad deal at all I guess! Hopefully they will continue to release the F60 LB sculpts in the same pattern as the MNF ones, and we shall see a F60 Dark Soo soon (though I'd actually love an AES/Soo LB head too).

@sephyelysian ~ thanks for the info, it helps to know what to expect! It can be hard to tell head size from pictures. I once had a 58cm girl that could squeeze into a 7-8" wig, and her head size seemed fine to me, so I'm not too worried about a smaller head, especially as a wee Moe girl. And yes please to LB Shiwoo, the Minifee LB Shiwoo is adorable! I would love to see more Dambi around too, FL has so many beautiful yet rare older sculpts.

 

No worries! I was expecting that an 8-9 would fit mine but then @overlordu said that she had luck fitting her El in 7-8 Monique wigs which have stretchy wig caps and I was like … uh. Wait. Trying on some of the wigs we have here 8 seems to be the sweet spot for Chiwoo. He could probably manage a 7-8 with a stretchy wig cap. 8-9 is loose. Some of our dolls have heads on the smaller SD size so I could try wigs but I get how that could be a pain if you don’t.

I really hope to see all the old sculpts from them one day. Even the F70 line would be great to see as a rerelease. I think it’s really nostalgic and nice to see them going back to their roots.

 

8" is the sweet spot for Lookback El, too. 7/8" Monique wigs fit (which are super stretchy), 8/9" wigs were loose. I ended up getting an 8" wig made for SmartDolls and it fits perfectly!

Eee! She's here! my dream doll for like... I don't know, almost 10 years? Maybe 7ish or so years.
I just shoved her into what I had on hand until I get her more settled in.
Her eyes are kind of meh so I'll be replacing those. I have a better wig in mind but this one is fine for the moment. I knit the sweater myself but haven't blocked or tucked in the ends but now I'm kind of motivated lol. It fits sooo perfect! I'm totally going to make more for her.
The jeans are TTYA and fit SO good! except she can't sit at all.

I've been going crazy on what to name her, I think I had one in mind a long time ago. I've always loved the name Chloe but that's a little too easy. I've been playing a lot of Shining Nikki lately and I keep thinking maybe she's a Nikki... naaaah.

 

@Koma ~ for borrowed things, she sure looks perfectly put together! That dress is such a gorgeous color with her eyes.

@kittydorkdork ~ Congratulations! She looks so stylish and ready for fall! Chloe has long been on my "maybe someday" wish list, so I love seeing other people bring her home.

 

You got her! She's really pretty. Though the eyes may be plain, I like the size of them. Her sweater is beautiful! I sure do wish I could knit or crochet well enough to make doll sweaters. I hope you enjoy her. I keep going over to my Chloe and noticing how beautiful she is.

I have gotten some photos of my Nanuri 08 from my faceup artist, and she REALLY deserves the "artist" title for this one. I still have work to do on her (wings, tail, claws, clothes to show off her scales), but I am so tickled that she is finally looking like the character I have been trying to make.

Plus this gives me something to post here other than mostly lurking.

Aw, the half skull looks like it's painted on, I was hoping to see a sculpt incorporating half skull, LOL, but it's still very cool Sia is gorgeous though

 

I've zoomed in it looks sculpted to me, as does the MNF girls' half skull.

 

OH, well, I'm not familiar with the mnf one, can't wait to see owner pictures especially then! (I'm on a strict dolly diet, thus I'm having some chocolate right now, LOL, something has to give!)

 

OH NO. I liked the Minifee but convinced myself since I don't collect the size as much I was safe. NOW I'M NOT.

 

I'm now contemplating that Feeple60 Sia to couple with a Popo Phoenix boy... the thought of having a pair of matching half-skulls is tempting!

 

I'm planning putting the event Sia head on a feeple60 boy body. I have a Sia boy MNF that I love, so feel it could also work in the bigger scaled version.
The half-Skull is so cool too pass on, I need this one.

 

The half skull face got me too… I’m trying to persuade myself that I only need that head, and not the whole doll, but I’m not sure how strong I am!

 

Curious for the new Feeple60. Her outfit seems to be an upgraded version of Minifee Luhas outfit (minus the jacket). Can't wait for the release video.

Did a little photoshoot today to test if my Miwa can stand on her own in high heels. Yes, she can.

 

Her whole look is gorgeous! I love how the wig is styled!!

 

I haven't seen anything about a new Feeple60- is this more stuff only posted to Facebook for some reason!? Why do they do that?

 

It is sadly only on Facebook, but release date seems to be the 13th.

 

Halloween Sia is so gorgeous! I really love her outfit and main faceup, though I think I prefer the mnf hwayu event painted head if I had to choose.

Either way, loving the new event!

I had a question for moe owners, I'm thinking of getting myself a Moe body for my girls, but i own several pairs of shoes i love, and they're delf size, so i was wondering if they would still fit if i maybe put some cotton inside? Or a bit of padding/socks? Can someone please help me!

 

I just got a Moe body and she fits my Delf shoes just fine. I will edit this tonight with some photos. Do you have a particular style you would like to see?

 

My F60 moe girls and my Delf wear the same shoes. They actually can share most of the same clothing. The Delf is a little thicker around the waist and has slightly longer legs than even my long legged F60 moe girls but for the most part, they are compatible for clothing. (My Delf is the type 5 body)

 

Some ballet flats/mary jane flats if possible? I have kitty shoes and dale rae flats i love on my delf girl!!

I have an old pair of Luts shoes that are the closest that I have to that style:

If you look at just the right angle from the back of the doll, you can see a tiny gap and the toes, but the wider foot keeps it from slipping forward, so no need to stuff the toes of the shoes.

Great, choose the smallest head for the feeple60 or MOE body, just a suggestion, unless you don't mind a larger head, which is also fine. That's how they are anyways
