Fairyland Feeple60 Discussion - Part 15

I can't wait to see when people start receiving their F60 Alans.... the minifee Isets have started going out but haven't seen any Alan. I have a tan fullset on order.Curious now about his head size!

 

I want to see Alan too! I was considering getting a tan female Alan on the Moe body. I’d love to see some owner photos of the sculpt.

 

Quick phone pic of my f60 Lookback El that arrived today alongside my old CP Delf El. You can see how much bigger the original's head was! I was a little shocked when I saw new El!

 

I am seriously vibrating with excitement over new tiny El. Thank you for sharing @malvinas! Do you have an idea of what size eyes he takes? I wanna start shopping around for mine, hehehe.

Does anyone know how consistent (or inconsistent) Fairyland's tan is? I have pretty low expectations but I'm hoping I can put my El on the old F60 body and it will look okay

Hello everyone! I got a third hand Feeple60 Mirwen a few weeks ago and I can't get her to sit, she keeps falling on her back.
Is this normal for Feeple60 or the case of too loose or tight stringing?

Here's my girl, her name is Dawn and she is rocking temporary eyes and wig.

 

I stuck 14mm glass from Ginarolo in him and they are a pretty good fit but the iris still looked quite big! However the 12mm EDs I tried in him were too small and gapped a lot so I think I'll be ordering him some 14mm small iris, and maybe also some 16mm small iris just to see how they look.

I have a tan minifee body from 2017 and the color is close but the 2017 is a bit less pink I think. It's very subtle though. I unfortunately don't have anything older to compare to.

Sometimes if you pull the leg out a little and then angle it in a sitting position and then push it back towards the posterior, it helps them to sit. Also, It helps to manipulate the Chest joint so that it is not arched back but in a bit of a slouch position.

Not sure what you mean @IngieBee ? He's pictured on the f60 motion line boy body which is what I purchased him on.

 

I meant that the head is smaller than the old cp/self. But then, the f60 is also smaller I guess? And I heard people complaining about the size of his head. But yours is the first I've seen on a moe body, and I think he is perfect! Was he an event head? That was my impression.

Also, can you order bodies when you order during an event for the event head?

 

I know Fairyland did an order for just bodies in the past when they first released the F60s, but I think you have to order a full doll nowadays. Releasing certain dolls in tan seems to be the event thing these days. And maybe it’s the lighting, but does this new tan look a bit darker to anyone else?

Honestly, the new boy bodies are so … scrawny to me. I miss the original male bodies. I have a muscular version which is so gorgeous. The new F65 bodies have the same aesthetic and it’s just a travesty.

Admittedly though, the motion body does work better for Muse, who is supposed to be pretty androgynous. A skinnier body works well for that. So I put his head on an m-line and gave this body back to Forrest, my elf Karsh, who is definitely more masculine.

I think the Delf bodies and F60 bodies were pretty close in size. I mean, you could head-swap between them with no issues. But yeah, sticking a head like a Shiwoo onto one of the M-line bodies would make him look comically bobble-headed, methinks.

 

He was available only during the event but he's not an event head in the sense that you had to purchase something else to get him for free. His head was not free I paid for it. When they release the lookback sculpts you can buy them as head only or you can buy them on a body. I bought him on the motion line boy body.

The tan doesn't seem darker than my tan minifee from 2017. It's a bit more pink but it's minor. How dark it is seems the same to me. I don't currently have any Fairyland tan older than that to compare to though.

The Delf boy body is certainly larger than the motion body! I actually have done headswaps before with my Mirwen boy who has the motion body as well and my original El. Thanks for the info @Stormlight . I am a bit sad that Fairyland's boys are getting smaller, as they don't fit in with my other boys which are larger than 65cm.

It turned out the bunny body wasn't for me, so that along with the Cygne SP head have moved on to a new home.
The Miwa isn't mine, she belongs to my SO, but he's inactive on DoA, so I'll be spamming her when I get the chance! We put her on my April Story Junior girl body until he decides if he wants the F60 body or something else.

Y'all I don't know what to do about the new Chiwoo lookback announcement, another SD was not in my budget NOR in my doll space lmfao, but original Chiwoo was one of my first grails I never managed to make happen and now here comes this lad... Oh jeez

 

Lookback Chiwoo looks so cute! I'm really glad they're continuing with these, and crossing my fingers for the sculpts I suggested on their survey

Though I'm still waiting on my Lookback El head. Where is heeeee? Three weeks ago DDE told me it would be "several weeks" and the anticipation is killing meeee

Saaaaame! I'm supposed to be in doll jail but like....there's a chance to get a tan Chiwoo! On a preorder system, that's crazy! I think I'm definitely going to see what his price would be for tan head+body

 

WELP. I was going to be good and not buy another doll since I just bought one from Granado but a Chiwoo in tan is too good a deal to pass up. (I have memories of coming into this hobby just AFTER they sold him for the first and only time on Luts back in the day). I put in my order to DDE this morning and literally have NO IDEA how long Fairyland waits are these days.

The Lookback Chiwoo’s face is sweet though and it reminds me of the Minifee Chiwoo which is great because I have long regretted selling mine. Here’s hoping though they continue releasing these guys. There are definitely sculpts I would love to see return.

@overlordu, I hope you see your El soon. I am dying to see how he compares to Gremory!

 

If they release a Shiwoo in the F60 size, I might be in trouble. (I know they have Shiwoo in the mnf lookback, but I just don't currently jive as much with that size.)

 

There is a Minifee too! (You might be in trouble!)

 

Oh goodness, I really like the lookback Chiwoo. Somehow he looks even cuter than the original! With the smaller heads the F60 have vs the old Delfs, I think he'd make a beautiful girl.

I do hope they keep following the same release pattern as the MNF lookbacks! That MNF Shiwoo is so utterly charming, I'd love to see him in F60.

 

I had the same thought! When my El gets here I'm definitely gonna test him on a girl body and see how it looks I might be hunting down another Lookback El if the scale is good!! I've seen some beautiful Delf El girls but the head always looked too big for the shoulders.

 

Oooh that sounds promising, I do hope you'll share the results! Based on how the LB El looks on the new boy body, I think he'd make an elegant she as well.

He looks so good on the old body!?! And the resin actually MATCHES???? This body is from 2014! I can't believe it.

For informational purposes: These eyes are 14mm with a regular iris. I tried some small iris eyes and they looked good too, for an intense character perhaps! 9/10 wigs don't fit AT ALL, obviously. 8/9" is also very loose! I have one 7/8" Monique wig and it was a good fit (Monique wigs are very stretchy). The pink wig he's wearing here is a non-Monique 7/8" wig (it might be by Luts?) my friend gave me with permission to ruin it- I stretched the hell out of it and managed to get it on his noggin!

weird thing, he came with a pair of glass eyes, I thought FL only sent arcylic?

 

They made an announcement a while back that they might have to use different eyes. I really liked the glass eyes better. I didn’t feel I had to immediately change them like I did with the acrylic ones which I always felt had irises that were too large. What are your feelings about these eyes?
My Erda that arrived last Thursday with the glass eyes from Fairy Land - Although I didn't use my normal lighting, so the eyes came out darker than they are. My F60 Mirwen came with the same brown glass eyes but I sent her off for a face-up.

Oh, I see. They are nice eyes, I was just surprised since the other FL dolls that came in had acrylic. My El came with a pair of dark green with a blue-ish pupil. I don't have a picture of him wearing them because when I opened him the putty/tak stuff they used looked like it had melted slightly in transit and his eyes had sunken towards the back of his head. Took me a bit to get it all out of his eye wells.
I did like the acrylic eyes that my BF's Miwa came with though, I guess it was a bit of hit and miss with them.

My Mirwen's eyes had done the same thing. At first, I didn't even think they had sent some with her, but I later found them in her head, off to the side. The putty had melted so much that it was also all over the connector piece! The doll, itself didn't seem to be harmed by whatever heat melted the putty though!

 

It's been a minute since I posted my boy Dugg (short for Skulduggery). He's a Nanuri 19/20. He needs more hair accessories and for me to finish his armor.

 

So when I ordered my big Alan I checked the box for the Dark Elf Soo mnf head and the free calendar.... However the event head I got was the winking Lishe elf feeple60 head. So after having my scowling boy home about a day, and staring at the event head a bit. I ordered an in stock blank Alan from DDE which came on sat. The body of which now has the Lishe head on it, who has found eyes and a wig. I am thinking of opening the closed eye ever so slightly and getting it an over the top beat up face up with a black-eye, bruises and a face cut or two. I'm really thinking this head could make a great young punk of a fighter/brawler elf boy.

 

Maybe I've just been lucky, but all the full dolls I've gotten from fairyland have had pretty nice glass eyes

What skin tone did you get? I think she has the most gorgeous face!

 

Normal~ I'm not too big a fan of the white, at least for most of my characters, and I wasn't sure if I would like this particular girl in tan, so normal it was, lol! Originally I had always wanted a Miyu, but Ria has the closest feel to Miyu, at least for me. And since then I've fallen in love more and more with the sculpt. I waited a loooong time to get her, too! I almost got her over a year ago and I just needed to wait one week, and then, when I went to put my order in, Fairyland removed all the Feeples! It was when the MNF Luha's were released. lol~ It's all good now, she's almost here! I also got her with the sleeping faceplate to do a slight open eye mod on for her alternate personality. ^__^

 

Did you get the Fairyland faceup? I LOVE her default faceup!

 

I absolutely love Ria's default! It's sooooo gorgeous! However, I intend to paint her faceup myself. ^__^ I do all my doll faceups and I'm absolutely itching to paint Ria. The wait is killing me, lol~
