Fairyland Feeple60 Discussion - Part 14

If they made a couple my wallet would be in some serious trouble (I'd want both of them then!)

Despite the immanent threat to my funds I'm quietly hoping they might surprise us with a new boy, though I don't know how likely that is. I had hoped Erda's popularity might have given them the push they needed to realise people want them to produce more big boys

All that said I think I'll definitely be ordering Lucywen, I loved her MiniFee sculpt but I prefer larger dolls so this is just amazing for me I'd get her without her fullest though (pretty though it may be, it's not my cup of tea) and probably in white skin...

I'm not really into the Moe body, but I have to admit, Magnolia Fox is very pretty!

And, WAY too expensive for my wallet!

I have to admit that, I'd be more interested in their 60cm dolls if they gave you the option of having a non-Moe body. Not that I could currently afford one, but still.

I don't really like her full set, too modernist lol. F60 Lucywen as a sculpt is super cute tho.

 

My partner and I were looking at Magnolia Fox's Full set and Designer's Complete sets, and we noticed that the only difference between the two that we could find was one gave you the premium eyes.

Is there some difference that we didn't notice that would make the price jump $200? We both didn't think that just a pair of crystal eyes was worth that kind of a price jump.

Or is it that you get the original doll used in the pics?

@Ryuichi Sakuma 13 yes you get the premium eyes + you get the mask already painted, the shoes painted

The cheaper option doesnt have the eye upgrade, and the mask + shoes are clear, thats the only difference.

What a pretty new fullset, I adore those sleeves! Lucywen is lovely as a F60, but I usually prefer closed mouths on my dolls so I am safe. I do like this trend of making MNF into F60 though, there are so many MNF I'd like to see in a bigger size!

And I'd love to see more boys, too. Heck, I'd take some of the more androgynous girl sculpts like Sircca and Maya in F60 size at this point just to have more head options for the boy body.

 

I'm all for making more MNF sculpts as F60s because bigger is better, LOL! She's pretty and I love her full set, but I think I'm safe (kinda scared to see the VE head though lol). It's disappointing to see tan skin continues to be unavailable for Feeple60s...I know lots of people have been waiting if it would be an option during events again.

 

So far we've seen Momo, Ria, Rendia, and Lucywen (plus the basics Rin, Celine, Chloe, Mirwen), right?

I'd love a Rens, Maya, or Sia in F60 size!!! Those would be my dream girls.

 

I was holding out for a winter event and a Maya for 20th anniversary. Would be amazing if they can do a similar theme of her Minifee version for Feeple60.

 

Lucywen is so pretty but I'm safe! I personally want to see new faces and more boys. I don't know why they would go through the trouble of making a new body and not release new boys to go with it!

I'm safe too. Unless they make more boys and give the option of a non-Moe body, I'm okay with the one Feeple60 floating head I currently have.

I should find a body for my poor Nanuri '08 boy head, but he has so many others ahead of him right now.

I was wondering, is there a list of some kind of all the Feeple 60 event heads? Or did FL put out a head every winter and summer?

Finally Erda is here! He is my first BJD and I am so excited to have him around. He came with high heel feet, premium eyes as well as Cygne event face plate. Now I finally understand why people say that it is so difficult to find shoes for Fairyland's moe feet.

I have not posted any pictures onto the forum before so I may need some to figure out how to do that. I just send Erda to the faceup artist, and hopefully he will come back very soon with an adorable new look.

Ooh, it will be really exciting to see an Erda with an artist face up. I think the sculpt is really handsome and broody. I hope you figure out how to post pictures!

 

Just a thought, but Supiadoll matches pretty well to my eye, and they have a nice boy body??

Edit: I just checked them out, and unfortunately, they seem to focus on girl bodies. The only boy body is 65cm, which is way too big for my Kio.

Oh well, I will continue to work on my other dolls. Kio's kind of down the line for getting a body.

I decided to dig out the Nanuri event head that arrived with Erda. I sorta just put him away because I had no plans for him but, my recent want for a new guy made me curious. Man what a cute guy. I need to give him a faceup, and he's going to need his own body. He also needs a name.

My Nanuri '08 is on an old Fdoll body. I think the proportions are really good actually and the color match is also really good. However, he has had this body for, gosh, 10 years now I think and I believe they have changed their color options a little so I can't say for certain which color would work best.

I can say that new Fairyland resin doesn't match super well because he is so old and their resin seems a bit more pink than it used to be.

 

Luts has added a Peach skin option that is a bit more peachy than their RSN (from their website photos; haven't seen any owner photos yet so I'm guessing this is new?) It supposedly matches Obitsu white, which I believe is equivalent to Volks' NS.

Does anyone know if this sounds like a potential match? My F60 Shushu would love a body at some point

:edit: I purchased a body from Supia last year and it's a lot paler than the Fairyland resin

 

Well, I have an obitsu normal and white body, and normal would fit fairyland, but not white, though white is a creamy color?? Also, my Obitsu dolls are very old, like ~2010

 

Oddly enough, I read that Obitsu has different resin colours depending on size(?), and that some people have quoted SD Obitsu white being the equivalent of Volks NS.

I have a few bigger Obitsu/Parabox dolls in their Whitey (White) skin colour and oddly enough it is a very close match to Fairyland resin. I tried it out myself out of curiosity when I was searching for hybrid options for my FL60 A event head. So if Luts' new resin colour is of a similar shade I think there's a good chance you could make a decent hybrid

 

Hello! I just bought my first feeple60 with moe line body, but it seems that she can't stand very well at all - the joints at her knees and hip will bend if I stand her upright. This doesn't happen to my minifee girls, is it a stringing problem? Thanks

 

@Aeorie was she bought second hand? I ask because maybe at some point she was restrung incorrectly? Or is she super loose? I mean, they are very easy for me to stand, so I feel like something must be off???

 

Nope she was bought new from fairyland, her joints are kind of loose actually. She's a full set momo so I'm also guessing her dress might be too heavy? :/

 

Oh, it might be the dress. Have you tried with her undressed?

 

@Aeorie , Well, my dolls are all fairly tight (well I have only 2 moelines) and extremely stable. So I'd guess maybe she's too loose?? I'm sorry I can't think of anything else??!!

 

I just got a Momo full set and she is just as tight as my other four Moe body girls. Even with her dress on she is solid. The only problem I have with her is the back magnets were put in place, but they didn’t glue them in or the glue didn’t hold. They are big and rattle around in her chest.
Are you sure you are just not extending the limbs all the way to snap them in place ? Maybe you should fiddle around with her more and try to make sure that isn’t the problem. I actually thought I had a similar problem with a new pukifee, but after more fiddling around with her I realized I was just not fully bending the joints to lock them in place.

 

Fable returned home this evening from getting her faceup done with @elisa_maza (Angel Toast) and I'm beyond excited with how she turned out!

Unfortunately it's dark here now, but I did the best I could to capture her with my photo light. Luckily my Makoeye order arrived too and she's trying out one of the pairs. I'm pretty sure these are the clear winner but we'll see. I'll be making her a custom wig like my other big girls, but for now she's wearing this spare one which I think looks nice on her. But gahh, I adore big Shushu!

I feel lucky to have her and I'm happy that she'll be versatile for me to play with both soft and mature looks.

Managed to snap a few shots of Fable~ I gave her a thin gold septum ring last weekend. She's also wearing a wig I made that all 3 of my F60 girls will share. I'm hoping during the holiday I will get to start on a custom one just for her. ^_^

I'm a little sad that there were never any pictures of the Lucywen Vampire Gift Head. The event is over now so even if it come out now, I cannot buy it. I also wish we could have combined the winter event with the vampire head.

 

Silly me, I was confused for a minute when I saw Erda was the new release for the winter event -- then I remembered that Fairyline (as opposed to Fairyline 60) is Minifee size.

I am looking forward to seeing pictures of the Feeple60 event head!

Oh, but I don't think the Lucywen sets have sold out yet? On the winter event notice it says:

It is possible to choose F60 Lucywen/FairyLine Erda giveaway head (only if you are purchasing Full/Full Option package with giveaway head option) and eligible Winter19/20 event gift head at same time.

So perhaps you can try and get the Lucywen event head and the winter event head?

 

Weird, DDE Lucywen pagr said that event is over and cannot be used for winter event. There is hope for me! I'll contact DDE and see if there was a mixup

 

I was looking at DDE and they have the feeple60 hands listed as $9 more than Fairyland's website does. Does anyone know why? I was interested in doing a layaway with them, but I'm cheap. $9 is going to add up if I order multiple pairs of hands.
Also does anyone know what the shipping cost would be on a feeple60 from DDE since they're so large?

 

That's a good observation! I also wonder why prices are different with Denver Doll Emporium compared to Fairyland? Other dealers price is the same exact as the company prices (or cheaper in some cases). It doesn't seem fair for US customers who have to order through them instead of able to order directly..... but I maybe missing something

 

You can still order through fairyland directly. They just prefer US customers to go through DDE. I think it's because they have no English speaking staff so if a US customer has a question or problem it's difficult for them to deal with. I placed an order with them at the beginning of 2019 and had no issue. You select your country for shipping and the US is an option. They don't offer layaway though so if you want that option you have to go through DDE.

 

That's great to hear! I thought we wasn't allow to order through fairyland directly anymore. I'm going to take advantage of their free shipping for the Feeple60 order.

 

Is free shipping a part of the event or are you talking about getting free shipping for orders over $900?
