Fairyland Feeple60 Discussion - Part 14

Yeah, the way a few of their event dolls were released as limited options in the a la carte selection puzzled me. So you can get the fullset, or the basic package, or the selection that is identical to the basic package, and all of them are time limited, even though it's not possible to see dolls without the limited frills until they are shipped to purchasers. I thought the whole purpose of the a la carte feature was so you could get sculpts you fall in love with from owner photos, without the frills that made them limited.

 

Hopefully Fairyland will provide us with a buying opportunity. Since I already have Lunnula, I bought it on the secondary market, and it remains only for Sionna to find it.

 

I just thought I'd pop in, give the thread a nudge and introduce my new beauty, Sofi. She is f60 Juir 19. I'd only seen one of the sculpt on ig (an account I now follow), but I absolutely loved her defined features, so when I saw this girl in the mp, I had to have her. She was already in Russia, so it was a great time to get a second girl painted by Barbelo_o (Cala was also painted by her).

I thought maybe there was a thread where I saw the question, but it must have been here. A couple or so months ago, someone wanted to know what heeled shoes fit the MOE feet, and I said I was buying some shoes from Dollmore. And it turns out they are a fantastic fit I'm pretty sure you could still put thin pantyhose on her too, I just haven't tried that.

Weird question, but does anyone know if girl feet will fit on the boy body? I've got an Erda, and his feet are magnetic despite Fairyland not seeming to offer any alternate foot options for the boys. I'd really like him to have some heel feet, and was wondering if the girl ones might work? Or are the ankles different sizes?

 

Surprisingly, I can confirm that the female moe feet fit the male body. And, if your curious, the male feet will not fit on the female body without modding the opening wider.

 

Thanks very much for confirming it! It's interesting that the female feet fit on the male body, but not the reverse. I wonder if it's that way for hands too?

 

i was so intent on getting things done yesterday, I completely missed your post. Wow, Juri19 is stunning! I do hope there will be many more in the future, sometimes it takes a while for people to figure out what to do with their event heads, and get bodies for them. So there is hope

I just took the survey on Fairylands website! I asked for a Feeple60 version of Feeple70 Ashley, I wonder what will come of it.

I don't have any experience myself, but I saw a video on YouTube where someone did an excellent job of breaking down the posing differences between the original F60s, the M60s, and the Fairyline60s. It was honestly what made me decide to give the Fairyline60s a shot with Miwa, as she highlighted how much better the body is at posing than the M60.

Hello everyone! I’m so desperate to get an F60 so I thought I’d quench my interest with having a look at this thread >w< I’m honestly considering getting miwa at this point but ideally I wouldn’t want to wait 2 months for her to arrive,, aaa it’s difficult

 

F60's are really fantastic dolls, and great 1st doll as long as you like the look, which is super cute. They're not huge like other "SD" size dolls today. And they pose so well as well. I think you've made a great choice @thekpopwolf

 

Hi everyone! I own a Nanuri18 head and I just don't like the feeple60 body (I don't like the moe shape at all)

Do you know if a feeple65 body would fit? Or any other suggestions of hybrids? Thank you very much in advance

 

@thekpopwolf Echoing what IngieBee said in that F60s are fantastic dolls! If you have a Minifee or have seen/handled one, they're basically big versions but way better in my honest opinion. I love their size, weight, and just overall ease of posing and changing their clothes is a breeze. The wait times can be hard sometimes, but I use that as an opportunity to get clothes, eyes, plan out face-ups, make or buy wigs etc. While I wish I had given other companies more of a shot, I absolutely love my F60 girls and I'm so happy I took that initial plunge! I think them being on the smaller scale of SDs make them great and less intimidating compared to some SDs as your first one. *this comment was not sponsored by Fairyland*

I actually get that, I didn't like the MOE body at all either, but then I got one and it's such a sweet huggable cute body that matches the Fairyland aesthetic so nicely So I've totally warmed up to it. However... if you wanted to use an F65 body, it would look great only the neck would need to be shortened to fit the Moe head. They'll look like a giraffe otherwise.

I also have feeple heads on Impldoll Model bodies. I ordered them to match the resin, and it looks great, but the sculpting isn't realistic either, just more like other dolls. If you haven't got a faceup on them yet, you could try a darker skin tone and then match it on the head? Anyway, good luck

@Aquadoe - Folklore is stunning! Celine is one of my favorites! I have the minifee version and sometimes I let myself think about getting the Feeple version. I always stop myself because I believe it's better to have differences in my crew.

 

@Aquadoe I was so happy to see your Folklore. I just ordered an in-stock F60 NS Celine from DDE and will probably finish paying her off next month. This will be my first F60. I have some Minifees and I love them. ( I also have a LittleFee and Pukifees.) I am very excited to get my F60 Celine! Mine will be in normal skin and will come blank so I need to get my nerve up to do her face...... Those teeth..How do you paint teeth? Anyway, I think I will investigate the other pages in this thread and look at the pictures

I'm sorry - yes, there were at least 2 Celines. They didn't last long- 24 hours maybe. I was hanging out in the FL waiting room here and someone mentioned that DDE got in some in-stock minifees and I checked them out as well as the Feeple60s and I had promised myself that next time they had a Merwin or a Celine, I would get her. They get them in from time to time. Ive seen about 5 this month. I'd check every day - especially Tuesdays, but sometimes other days. I've missed a few myself. keep it up, you'll get one.

@Stokiaci Thank you! I love Celine as a Minifee and Feeple60 too. And I totally get that and stopped myself too at first. When I decided to finally re-shell Folklore to a Feeple60 I knew I couldn't keep her in both sizes as much as I love the sculpt.

@thekpopwolf Yes, DDE has in stock dolls pretty frequently if you can catch them. I've ordered a few that way but they don't last long.

I put my F60 NS Lishe Juniper on a new Type3 Luts Delf RSN 2020 body and the resin match is pretty good!

 

@juumou she looks perfect! Kinda strange, I have an old CP/Luts Lishe and she is WAY too dark for Luts resin, then again, she's too dark for the body she's on too, LOL. Is that Luts "normal" or another one of their new colors they've made available. Do you think Luts changed the color of their resin or is Lishe simply from a light colored batch? Thanks for sharing her

 

Thank you! It's such a good match. The body is "Real skin normal" which is super pale, and Lishe must be around 2014-2016 Fairyland NS? Luts has definitely changed resin tones after Cerberus Project has changed to Fairyland. My older Luts CP Soony is darker than either feeple lishe or the new luts RSN.

 

I always thought Fairyland resin was consistent, and it is pretty consistent but over the years, it actually has changed... more in dark/light than hue. It's so cool you have one that matches Luts!

 

Hi all I’m considering to get a fairyland fairyline60 in tan, but I’m concerned about their colour changing as FL said their tan will change colour faster than other colours. Could anyone owning tan skin give me some ideas about their tan? Is it warm or cool tan? Does it change colour to more orange later?

 

Well, it's a lovely color, but I don't know how o describe it. Mine is from 2017 and hasn't changed in any way I can tell. I think Fairyland's resin is pretty stable as long as you protect them from UV light and limit how much time they spend outside. I generally will try to take photosin the shade and maybe I hurry too much, but keep them wrapped up before and after I take a photograph, and I have led lights that are supposed to have less uv radiation. in the room I keep them in. That room also has black out curtains to protect from sunlight. Sounds depressing but my LED light is nice and bright so I can enjoy the dolls safely in there. I guess it's not for everyone but my Fairyland dolls seem to stay the same color year after year. Some are 10+ years old. But not tan.

 

I got my tan El in 2014 and haven't noticed any color changes at all. I have taken him outside once, and the rest of the time he's been in a glass cabinet in a dark-ish room (the shutters are almost always closed, but there's ambient light during the day). Compared to tans from other companies I've seen, I'd say FL's tan is a bit light and rosy, definitely leaning more towards pink than orange, which I think makes it a "cool" tan. The color definitely looks different depending on styling, though! Here's an early pic of my El next to my friend Amet's Karsh (she no longer owns him). These two are from the same batch of tan, and were exactly the same color resin, but just from their faceups and what they're wearing looked like slightly different colors.

 

It's so wild how tall the Resinsoul body is by comparison!! they look really good together though!!

 

I have to agree about the styling. My F60 hasn't come yet and is NS but I have 2 FL MNFs in tan and they both have very different face-ups - one is by me and one by FL and their skin tones look to be totally different. The one I did is styled middle eastern look and the one FL did seems rosier. When I put them together and really compare their skin tone, their actual skin color is the same.

 

@juumou Your Lishe is gorgoues! I love the Lishe sculpt and wish it was still available~ Classic beauty for sure!

@overlordu Your El is gorgeous! Also making me wish these sculpts were still around haha.

I also got my Feeple60 Rona in 2014 and I haven't noticed much color change either. Only difference I've seen is my F60 Chloe and Celine look a little more reddish (depending on the light) because they are newer but it's very slight. My Rona is currently away for a face-up so I can't give a proper comparison. I'd say FL's tan ages pretty well.

 

Gorgeous. I wish I were in the sd scale when Amet was rehoming this gorgeous karsh, he is the only sd version in ts. and even ns versions of this size are rare. I agree with @Aquadoe, I wish these guys were still available for orders.

I agree, my celine is from 2016 and I haven't noticed any changes either. I'm sure it helps that we store them out of the sun when they are not being handled/photographed.

 

Thanks guys for your opinion. I think I’ll order directly from FL. Do they usually announce ahead of time when they decide to close order for limited dolls? If so where do they do that?

Hi again everyone! After desperately searching for an F60 i now have two girls incoming!! So excited >W< one is a hybrid of a white moe body and an NS modded momo head, I was planning to dye her pink but now im not so sure . The other is an NS long leg moe ria that I grabbed off of denver doll this morning! Eventually I want to dye her tan so we'll se how that turns out I can't wait to have both my girls I'm honestly so excited waaaa, also thank you @Dollquest for notifying me about denver doll's restock
