Fairyland Feeple60 Discussion - Part 14

Let's keep the pictures going~ Speaking of Shushu, I finally finished making Fable's wig.

 

I love love love Shushu, big or small!!! I need to take more pictures of mine, and I think i need to refine her look. In the mean time, here is my Merwin She is my only Fairyland tan unfortunately as it's so beautiful!

Your Merwin gorgeous @IngieBee ! And yes, I love Shushus! Never had one as a MNF but admired the sculpt for a long time~ I absolutely love her in big form!

 

I know, I don't have a mnf Shushu either, and I think they discontinued her I was lucky enough to get the F60 version when I got my Merwin and she needs a fresh photoshoot ... Thank you @Aquadoe

I also have a Mirwen but mine is on a boy body. He's also long overdue for some new photos to be taken. I should get on that lol

Congrats to everyone ordering Miwa!! I hope you all don't have to wait too long. I'm going to pass on her because Volks decided to release a grail of mine for pre-order and I can't miss out on her!!

It seems that only the fullset is limited. Hopefully, in the future I'll be able to obtain her by Ala carte I'm not really interested in the bunny legs, but I do love the fullset outfit.

@IngieBee Thanks! Luckily, I have the funds ready to go. I have a doll account that I contribute to pretty regularly and I haven't bought a doll in awhile. The funds were going to go towards Miwa, but a grail is very hard to pass up when it's obtainable. I'm just thankful this release isn't a lottery.

@Aquadoe I feel like they will bring it back. I hope they will bring it back. They have too people will revolt! Lol

@Stokiaci Congrats on getting your grail btw! I really hope so too, but these event packages might be the future (at least for the tan skin option on all their doll lines). But I'll keep my fingers crossed that Ala carte returns and perhaps some of these new (and hopefully some old sculpts) for F60s can be offered as basics.

 

@IngieBee and @Nikki'sNewObsession convinced me to take new pictures of my Mirwen boy so here is Draven!

@Stokiaci Aiden is so sweet! And I agree that Fairyland should release more boys! Or at the very least allow you to buy the female heads on the motion line body! I had to do a split to get the body for Draven. I imagine more people would buy the boys if you could get more than Erda! (even though I love Erda!)


And since I'm here, here is another picture of Draven from yesterday. I really do love this boy. The Mirwen sculpt has such a gorgeous expression. So intense!

 

@malvinas Thank you! I like to think he's a sarcastic bad boy but he always looks so soft and sweet in pictures.

I know it's so frustrating! They have this awesome body they made for guys and only released one! I know people want more guys and would buy them if they were available. I wonder how many boys they have actually released over the years...3 or 4? It's not very many.

 

@Stokiaci before they split off from Luts they had a ton of really well loved boys! El, Shiwoo, Chiwoo, Yder, Moon, the list goes on and on. And a lot of people still really love those old sculpts too and would love to be able to purchase them again. It is strange to me that they went such a different direction after separating themselves. But I guess the hobby as a whole has changed and the boys aren't as popular overall as they once were. I do think there would be a market for those original boy sculpts though if they chose to release them. I know they released a few of them many years ago but they only made them available really briefly and I think a lot of people missed their chance because they didn't know it was happening.

 

I have to trust that Fairyland knows what they're doing, but I can't help feeling like yeah, boy dolls aren't popular... especially if you won't make them!! It's a self fulfilling prophecy! I wonder if the artists there are missing the variety and want to make boys again. I'm so glad I got my tan buff El when I had the chance because I didn't realize they would never return LOL

 

Haha @overlordu I'm not convinced they know what they are doing. Though, maybe they do if the success of their minifee line is any indication.

I just think it is sad, and strange, that they don't release the old sculpts. Even if they had to be resculpted and looked slightly different. I feel like some of the most sought after sculpts for f60s are actually the event heads they have released based on old sculpts, like the Soony elf. And the f60 Shushu event head. But then they went and discontinued even the minifee Shushu so who knows what they are thinking.

 

Ooof your Mirwen is -so- gorgeous I always thought that Mirwen looked too intense; now I think she just makes an amazing male sculpt

 

I honestly wonder if them doing this continuous cycle of new, exciting releases followed by immediate discontinuation is their attempt to try to keep up with the counterfeit market, but it's causing them to overwork themselves and burn out. I mean, it can't be a quick and easy process to put out several entirely new faceplates/heads every year, plus a new body or two and a bunch of fantasy parts without putting stress on your sculpting and casting teams. They really can't afford not to at this point, but it's still sad.

In happier news, I've managed to sell off some of my DDs that I've had lying around that I do nothing with, so guess which F60 Juri 2012 is about to get a biiiiig wardrobe expansion

 

Well I completely caved and ordered myself a NS human Miwa! I debated for weeks if I wanted to get her in TS, but decided it was a little expensive for me this time around. I already have 3 tan girls that I love, so getting another NS girl made sense and I think she'll balance out my group~

 

@overlordu I COMPLETELY agree that it's a self fulfilling prophecy. Fairyland is now one of many to largely stop making boys and for those of us who want boys it gets harder and harder to find ones we like, which causes us to give up on buying boys, which causes them to give up on making boys. It's a vicious cycle.

Hello everyone. Has anyone responded to the survey from Fairyland yet? I asked them to restore the Mandrak Moors Dolls line. Would anyone besides me like to get these dolls?

 

I filled out the survey! So nice to see Fairyland doing this. I got SO excited seeing that you could request head sculpts for different doll lines! Really there are just SO many combos i'd like to see, but I've been desperately wishing for a Feeple60 version of Risse for nearly 8 years now, so that absolutely had to be my pick. I'd be surprised if many others requested this and she actually gets made at this point, but I have to try! I know they said discontinued sculpts, but in their own examples they mentioned Alan and Maya who both aren't discontinued, so I hope this is okay!
Also requested for a girl version of the Minifee/Fairyline Dragon boy because I can't get enough dragons, but that's off topic for this thread haha~

Really hoping lots of people ask for F60 and F65 boys again too!~

I just filled out the survey as well. I wonder what will come of it. It reminds me a bit of Soom or Volks rerelease systems.

 

It's so nice of them to ask for our input. I haven't taken the survey yet but will definitely do it when I have more time. I'll be requesting F60 boys!

 

Wow!! I'm also super excited that they did this! Since you're only supposed to suggest things you're committed to buying, I only asked for two things- a Feeple60 version of F70 Riff, and a F65 version of Feeple60 El! I also suggested that they offer tan skin.

I'm going to assume that by "discontinued sculpts" they only mean sculpts they've offered for sale on Fairyland before, not all CP sculpts. I would have suggested a Feeple60 Woosoo but I think that's out of the question... maybe I should ask anyway LOL.

 

@overlordu I asked for an F60 version of Shine lol I knew they probably didn't mean for the old delfs to be included but it is technically one of their sculpts and it never hurts to ask right? Worst case scenario they don't release it! I considered asking for an F60 Woosoo as well. I will if you will lol

 

Alright... you've got a deal! Let's ask for F60 Woosoo!!! If Fairyland actually makes all 3 of my requests I'm gonna be screwed but what are the chances of that?

Super excited so many people are requesting Woosoo too! Maybe they'll see that people REALLY want some of the old sculpts again!

 

Although I would absolutely love to see more Mandrak Moors dolls, I'm unlikely to buy them as it's so expensive to buy fullsets. However I did just by my first fullset with the Medusa/Angela2 doll, so it's not impossible, just.... painful! I need to go see as I didn't realize they had a survey going

Regarding Marcia, I got Ingrid because I thought she looked a bit like Marcia. I would SO LOVE an F60 Marcia, and might even turn into TeaPartyRevolution and Lishe - like Marcia collector, lets get a Marcia Elf

Oh, I went to the survey and it only asked about discontinued dolls. I wrote in the comments that I'd love the F60 Marcia

 

Yay! Another Marcia request! Sd Marcia has been a dream of mine for years. I actually emailed them suggesting it once. I didn't even think of elf Marcia, or dreaming elf Marcia.. Oh my!

 

And where is this survey to fill out? On the Fairyland site?

Because I would TOTALLY ask them to re-release Dark Elf Soo as an F60 (or even an F65), and if at all possible the Shiwoo sculpt, but an elf-eared version. Even as an event head! He’s been one of my grails for years!

Oh boy Dark Elf Woosoo as a F60 would be BIG trouble for me, haha.

I filled out the survey and took the opportunity to ask for tan skin to be available ala carte/basic again. Even if it can only be done a few times a year during an event period for example compared to our current option of only getting tan from full event packages.

 

I requested F60 Miyu and Dark Soo (human or elf)! And F70 Iden, as a F60. I also commented asking for more bust options, I really liked the larger bust option that came with Scarlett.

Like many of you, I will be broke if all of my requests come to fruition . . . broke, but happy! I am really glad to see this survey, I hope it will lead to some older sculpts coming back. How I miss some of those classic CP dolls.

 

I requested Dark Elf Soo and Angel Elf Soo. And noted that if they rerelease more of the old Delf sculpts as Feeple60 I would buy as many as I can afford. Though the dream is an Angel Elf Soo to keep my Dark Elf Soo company.

 

I requested the re-release of F60 Karsh with ts option, ts to come back as a basic option (or scheduled pre-ordering windows), normal f60 feet and more hand options including w. longer fingernails

(Joining in here as I have a Miwa on order) I filled out the survey requesting F60 Dark Elf Soo, as well as the Fairyline60 bodies to be available as a basic a la carte option, and a re-release of the original F60 bodies.

I also have a Miwa on order. This will be my first Fairyland doll. I'm new to Fairyland, but the Dark Elf sounds pretty neat. I think I will check it out.

 

@griffinlilly , If you want to look up Dark Elf Soo, you need to look it up under CP/Luts because they used to work with Luts and then they went independent and a lot of those old sculpts were discontinued Ooooh, I'm pretty certain you're going to love your Miwa!!!

 

Same here. I ordered Miwa as my first big Fairyland doll. My other Fairyland doll is a Pukifee Dony (my Avatar).

I would love an opportunity to get a Sionna again. Her full set didn't do much for me when she was released, but after seeing owner pics, I would love my own, to customize.
