At least I think the wrist will work, and if you like smaller more delicate hands, you might like them. Fairyland's hands are very cutesy

 

I just bought a 2012 Mirwen fpl60 head for which I one day hope to get a moe body too (didn’t know fl discontinued them.. damn) but for now she’ll be a wig model. I love her but the head cap just will not stay on, the locking mechanism isnt’t that tight anymore I guess. Does anyone with an older head have the same problem and has come up with a solution?

 

some heads just have loose caps (I believe Cygne was one of the worse ones for that that I've had). I just used a bit of eye putty to keep her headcap in place

 

@Luna_and_Stelladolls Yah, my Merwin's cap falls off easily too, and she isn't that old. Maybe 2 years now. She is my favorite sculpt though I feel confident that the F60 line will come back as soon as they catch up and get their master molds back in order. Possibly with some improvements?? But it may take some time :/ They're too small a shop to be very efficient at these things. More artsy than business/production oriented which is a positive and a negative

 

Doors anyone know how to make a hybrid of a Feeple60 body with an Angell Studio head? I'm mostly concerned with the head key that fits a Feeple head but won't work with another company's head

 

Ahh I haven't stopped by here in a bit, but i'm super excited for the new Fairyline bunny girl, Miwa! Even though I already have the bunny legs in Minifee size, I really just love those legs so much, they are really versatile and can work for many other types of creatures. I'm definitely hoping I'll be able to order her!~

@Quoth The F60 head key mechanism will not work with any other company's heads, but you can take the mechanism off the neck and then use any "standard" head. You'll likely need to completely unstring the body to get the head key mechanism off though~

You'll have to restring the body, but don't throw away the key!!! It's valuable on the second hand market or if you want to sell the body again in the future

I feel like I'm back to the same situation as Medusa lol. I want 2 bunny girl, one in NS and Tan with different bunny leg color (white and pink). I rarely see Feeple60 girl offer in tan so I'm tempted.

 

Good luck with that @aireoko (snickering behind my hand) I'm pure evil, I'm so ashamed of myself sometimes! LOL, but yah, the more people on DoA that bring home dolls, the more dolly pictures I get to enjoy I'm a glutton for dolly pictures!

 

Oh yes, I've had it since Carol! I just want them on a la carte again!

 

@IngieBee I know right? I'm just going to hide in a corner and judge myself for my lack of self control lately. Makes me wonder what other beautiful dolly Fairyland will release with the 60 line. I'm assuming are planning to do a double punch like the 65 line with Ingrid and then Medusa (Angela 2).

 

OH yah, @aireoko , Fairyland is pure yummy evil, no doubt about that! Brings out the evil in me too, LOL

@SacredMonsoon CP makes such beautiful sculpts! What can we do but fall?

Ohhh, you know, I hadn't really thought about whether or not the FL60 bunny parts will be offered in Pink and Mint like Momo's were. I don't think they've offered dolls in pink and mint for quite a while, and never for the big dolls. That would be awesome though! Either way I'm probably just going to dye mine, like I do most all my dolls these days haha~
EDIT: THEY DO OFFER MINT AND PINK. Ooof Mint is my favorite color...so tempting...!
Miwa's "mlem" event head is so silly but cute! I'm so tempted to use it for the character I have in mind, but I really want to put an F60 Shushu on the bunny body too. Decisions....!

 

@Arkelle I'm sorry to tell you this but.... look like they are going to offer pink and mint for the new girl. Sorry, not sorry? At least right now on their hidden website page lol

I always wanted a pink bunny leg but missed the Momo release so decisions indeed for me as well.

 

@aireoko I saw!! She's up on the FL website now! Ahh man, I had a whole idea already planned out but gosh I really adore their mint color... I still regret selling the Realfee I had in that color many years ago. I may have to rethink things!
I'm so glad they're offering those colors again or the people who missed them the first time. I so hope you'll finally be able to grab that pink bunny!

I adore the new girl. I haven't wanted an F60 this bad since Carol and I regret not getting her lol.

This might be a silly question, but are both of her eyes evenly open? One of them seems slightly more closed in quite a few pictures. It's a little strange, but it might be a lighting thing.

 

I notice that as well. Maybe the combo of face up, lighting and the eye position?

 

Oh my god, guys, the new girl is too cute. I'm seriously considering getting her as my first Feeple/Fairyline60. Maybe in beautiful white.

Is she on the Moe type body or the older 60cm type if getting the Human version?

 

I don't think you can get anything but a MOE any more @derilan85 I believe that even the fairyline is a MOE with an extra hip joint (size and shape) though it kind of looks like the old F60s

 

That's what I was thinking. I have a F60 here which I tested it with, I saw I had to unstring to get the key out which I did then I put the head on and couldn't quite get it working. Do you think I'd need a larger S hook or something else to keep the head on?

@Quoth While i'm not familiar with the specifics of Angell Studio heads, the S-hook that holds the strings in the neck mech is really small, so yes, you'd likely need to replace it with a standard SD size head S-hook to be able to use standard SD heads.

@derilan85 The Fairyline60/ Feeple60 girl bodies are the Moe body. Regardless of if you order Miwa as a human or a bunny she'll have the Moe style body human parts. The older, taller Feeple60 body has not been an option since 2012-2013 or so.

I'm planning to order my Miwa bunny sometime soon, i'm just still waffling between NS or BW for her upper body. I've accepted that I just can't resist ordering her bunny legs in mint though haha~

EDIT: Just realized... I wonder how tall bunny Miwa will be? From what I can tell, her legs look in the same proportion to how they were made for the MNF Fairyline which is a version of the taller A-line body rather than the Moe like the Fairyline60 is...so she's likely going to be at least a couple cm taller than 54cm like the original F60 Moe body. My Fairyline60 Ria with the harpy legs was actually 60cm, so I wonder if bunny Miwa will be too~

Finally decided on BW and mint bunny parts! Its kind of silly, but I've had this idea for a real fluffy, goth Luna Moth character for long time, and I'm thinking the pale skin and minty bunny legs (perhaps with some slight modification to the toes) might actually be perfect for her haha~

@IngieBee Thank you!~ Haha, yes, i'm thinking of using the bunny legs as fluffy moth legs!
I know it sounds a little silly at first, but I think the Fairyland bunny legs look quite similar to the Soom Opel/Lier fluffy moth legs, so that's why I think it should work! I basically just want her to look like that, only bigger. Moths don't really have toenails though, so i'm thinking if I sand those smooth on the bunny feet they should look just like the little claws on Opel/Lier~

 

Normal skin and white legs. Although I’m tempted to join a split for a pink pair of bunny legs. lol

Okay, I think I need help here. Sorry, I'm kind of new to big Fairyland dolls.
It says when you order Miwa she comes with #18 hands. She is pictured with #13 hands and I can't seem to find #18 hands on DDE or on Fairyland's website. Google picture search gives me several outcomes.
Can someone tell which hands you will get?

 

@Amadiel I am pretty sure that they meant #13. Whoever was typing it up probably couldn't see it properly. I mess up 3 and 8 all the time depending on the font :P

 

@Amadiel The #18 hands are the default Moe body hands, the ones with the pointed fingers (they are a big version of the Minifee #9 hands). Fairyland doesn't actually sell the #18 hands for Feeple60 separately, because all Feeple60/Fairyline girls come with them by default. You can see them in the photos of all the Feeple60 Moe/Fairyline60 girls (from Rin to now) aside from Momo and Miwa which show them wearing the #13 hands. The only exceptions are Lacrima and Lunulla, however, their sales pages specifically state they'll come with the #17 hands they're pictured with. Thus Miwa likely will not come with the #13 hands because (from my memory) Momo's sales page did not state she would come with them despite also wearing them in her promo photos. Of course, you can always directly ask Fairyland or DDE for further clarification~

The #18 Feeple hands are the moe hands like the minifee moe hands #9, if that makes sense. You can see the minifee #9 hands on the parts page.

It's been awhile since I got into dolls but Miwa is such a cutie, I'm 100% bringing her home

I'm a bit late to the party, but my Elene is an Angell Studio head on a Fairyland body (Fairyline60 instead of Feeple60, but essentially the same). If you're having issues, feel free to DM me with pics and I can tell you how I managed it.

You'll have to restring the body to remove the key. After that, it's really easy. You need a nice big S-hook; I used the one I got with the original Angell Studio body. Note the head connection systems are really different, so my Angell Studio girl has a really lengthy swan neck on the F60 body. I also found it helped a LOT to sneak a few kips in between the AS head and the FL neck.

I'm assuming Miwa's parts will be compatible with all the other FL girls... I joined a split for her bunny legs, with the hope I can pop them on my Scarlett or Ria.

Fairyland dolls, all of them, have such lovely arms, I need to remember that and make a lot of sleeveless clothes for the summer

 

It has been a really long time since I last shared a picture of my Rona named Hadley here! It actually had just been a really long time since I last photographed her. It was long overdue!

 

OH she is so pretty @malvinas I really don't remember seeing Rona heads before

 

@IngieBee thank you! Sadley Rona was discontinued a long time ago. I'm not entirely sure when though I feel like she just suddenly wasn't available anymore. It's sad too because it's such a pretty sculpt!

She's beautiful @malvinas Always happy to see Ronas but I'm biased towards the sculpt.

Rona sadly became discontinued (along with a bunch of other sculpts ex. Karsh, Luka) not long after the sculpt was available as a Feeple60 on the original body. This was also shortly after they had tan skin available a la carte for the first time.
