Hi all, I am looking for a body to hybrid, so I am wondering if the neck connector of Feeple65 can be removed to be replaced with a normal S hook? I do not have any Fairyland doll, so I'm totally blind about Fairyland bodies...Sorry if this has been asked and discussed before...I just couldn't find any info on it, or how to go about changing it.

Yes, you totally can convert a FL body to a normal hook body--you just have to restring it, which can be daunting:

@fishcake thanks bunches, that really helps a lot! And wow, that restringing process is intimidating lol...and scares me quite a lot salute to all FL owners

 

ack! I was thinking of using my tan Rho for a Little Rebel head. great color match, perfect size, but.....no thanks. I hate restringing and I'd want to switch from my CP guy to the other head from time to time. so, that's not going to happen.

Once you have the neck key off you can sort of put a keyed head on there if you make a resin "banana" like Soom uses in their heads--it helps to pad the underside of the head with something like a furniture felt or Dr. Scholl pad cut down:


The tip of this banana should be trimmed a little--I finally went and bought an actual FL body to put my Chloe head on--this was a Loongsoul 68, the tall one.

Thank you) Very pleased. I'm thrilled with her myself. Very gentle mold, but at the same time there is a highlight and mystery. I tried to put her ordinary human eyes - and she became very similar to the little Mermaid from the old Soviet film

Hi everyone! Just wanted to ask and see if anyone else is having trouble snapping their faceplate onto the headback? My Ital came with a feeple60 booklet and I can’t find any info online... I’d appreciate the help.

 

Here's my Feeple65 Siean from 2014:3 She is yellowed a bit, but barely noticeable. I love her to bits! And she has as boyfriend a F65 Laurence in NS, and also I'm in love with new Ine! So in plan bring her home soon!

In June I ordered from the official dealer Feeple65 DenverDoll. Asked about the resumption of the release FeePle65 (because I really want Silvia base). They said that they have not received an official closure of the line, and expect to start the line later. Promised to write as soon as information.
So let's hope for the best

 

I read the winter event from last year, they re-open chloe elf and some other type of feeple 65 too, i wish they will release basic line soon )) thank you, but still so sad why chloe full pack and basic is elf but only sylvia full pack was vampire, basic was human...

 

I remember reading that FL plans to bring out a new F65 man this year, but that was months ago. things may have changed.

Didn't realize vampire was only full set. so glad I got her in tan. she looks like a Hollywood starlet - with fangs!

 

I die with her vampire face, maybe there is somebody will sell it in market place. So feeple65 new will be a boy???

 

@rinssoul - it was either Denver Doll or Fairyland who made the comment, but early in the year, so with everything that's going on, that may have changed.
It's already September. No word about next F65. It might have been pushed back to next year. That would suit me. my house is eating up all my money.
I'll take some new pics of my vampire girl over the weekend. she needs to try on a few more wigs.

WOW she is fantastic!! Great job on the faceup! May I ask what kind of eyes you're using for the picture? They're so lovely.

I emailed DDE about resuming the F65 line as I want to repurchase my NS Chloe and they stated FL will reopen the line, but not anytime soon. DDE stated they'll send a notice once the line is back on for purchase.

wish I could remember where I saw that rumor. FL or dealer, not chat on a board. anyway, a lot has changed, so that might have too.
I'd be happy if it's next year. my house is costing me a fortune right now. no more dolls. 'til 2019.

 

Of all the Doll makers out there, Fairyland was the last one I thought I would see with production issues like this They were so prolific and had so many wonderful dolls of every size imaginable. This is depressing me

 

Only rumor I've heard was that they're working on a feeple60 male, that was in... March or or something. But not a feeple65 guy.

It is a bummer that they stop producing them at this point. I'm so glad I was able to add my own Roke to my crew.

 

Thanks, everyone for kind comments. I really love my Chloe. I bought her as a full set with Roke the year they came out. Also have Rho (yummy tan) and tan Sylvia vampire. I have more Cerberus Project dolls than from any other company, although Dollshe is close. Soom third.
Feeple 65 is always so beautifully made. Why more companies don't use magnets on hands, faceplates, feet, even arms for changing out mechanical ones or tatts like Chloe's I just don't understand.

 

I love the Moonlight set and Dragon set for them. I only was able to buy the heads with original face ups. I wish I knew about them when they first came out. I was able to piece together Roke, but so far Chloe's original outfit has been out of my reach. I had to settle for a close copy of it someone was selling that isn't quite made for Feeple65 but I made it work. lol

I know that I had 14mm on Roke and tried the 12mm and in my opinion, they look too small, but I know that some people like the smaller look. What I don't like it's having gaps at the edges of the eyes. That drives me crazy.

 

@Loodles 12mm would have gaps at the side of the eyes depending on the type of eye you use.

Is anyone on here an owner of a FeePle65 girl body? I'm planning on getting one, but I have some important questions about the structure of the sculpt. FeePle65 owners, please help!

 

I own the first type of F65 body (not the new design that was released earlier in the year). Is this the type of body you own?

 

@Jglow I don't own any yet, I wanted to ask you a few questions before I decided to buy one. Is that okay?

New or old version, either one is fine.

 

I know the older heads and faceplates won't work on the new bodies. The good news is that FL sells the new headback so that if a newer sculpt catches your fancy you'll have a way to put it on the old body.
The body has beautiful sculpting, magnetic hands/feet, and the nice lock for the head which is far superior to the normal S hook that most companies use.
It's a very "typical" feminine body type that doesn't look too thin or too thick, so if you're after pear shaped hips or flat chests this body type isn't for you.
Resin colors are gorgeous, especially the tan resin and they have a beautiful matte finish. However the unpainted faceplates are shiny for some odd reason.
There are some major downsides to the engineering of the F65 bodies compared to the minifees such as they're so heavy it's difficult to pose them without wiring and sueding (which I currently have to pay for with my girls). They don't sit upright either. They lean slightly backwards which is nearly impossible to correct unless someone were to do some modding to the hips and legs possibly. They're also a little more complicated to restring as they have so many components to keep track of. It took 2 people to restring my Chloe (myself and another lady from my local bjd group).
They also have a weakness in the resin where their upper calf part meets the knee joint to where people (like myself) have received their dolls with cracked or chipped pieces of the upper calves. I hope this helps you. I'm no expert, but I do own the dolls myself and I absolutely love them, flaws and all. Siean and Chloe will never leave my collection. In fact, I plan on reordering my Chloe when FL reopens their stock.
