Fairyland Feeple 65 Discussion Part V

Tan Sylvia vampire arrived a week or so ago and I haven't had time to play with her. I did buy her a wig which I like a lot. softens her toothy appearance.
I ordered her on the new body, but received the old one. DDE didn't even notice. But, FL is not good (or not to me) at solving issues with orders, so I'm just keeping her.
Those shoes are a work of art!
Her tan is gorgeous and I'll take 'real' photos with better light when I get her hands painted. Her eyes are such a beautiful color - mix of blue and goldish brown.

 

I'd ordered a pair of F60 heeled feet and magnetic ankle joints for my F60 girl body (through DDE), but was sent a pair of F65 heeled feet by accident. The feet will not fit the F60 ankle joints at all. The design of the joints was entirely different. I ended up having to send them back.

 

The older style F60 or the F60 Moe girl? The older F60 girls ankles are way smaller.

 

The older style F60 girls used S hooks on their feet, not magnets. What I'd ordered were the magnetic ball joints and feet for the M-line bodies.

 

Oh I thought they might have made magnetic upgrade parts available to the older F60 bodies like they did with the Minifee A-lines. Except the F60s were discontinued so why would they do that…

 

Has anyone tried a Feeple65/Volks SD13 hybrid? As in, FL body and Volks head? I'm curious to see how they would fit together proportionally.

 

Humm I don't have a picture but I think SD girls do have slightly bigger head.

 

It's been frustratingly hard to find any comparison pictures I know next to nothing about Volks, too, so that doesn't help any.

 

Here's a comparison row of bodies I found. There's a Volks F-01 which I think is the biggest head they've made. Don't know if it helps any. Volks SD10/13 heads tend to be pretty full, not as slim and mature as F65s. The resin color will be pretty off, too. Six BJD Bodies - Front

 

I just received a feeple65 third hand with a lot of damage. Her faceup is aweful. Makes her look like a dead fish. Her knees are all broken and cracked. Her arms are missing chunks. Ugh. Poor abused girl. I was wondering. Can she have teeth modded?

 

how would such a beautifully made & sturdy doll get so damaged?
would love to follow her restoration process.
which face? some have parted lips that could have subtle teeth.

Two new ones so close together, that's exciting. I hope this one is a boy!

 

She was rescued by my friend from a lady who let her toddler man handle her. She was going to restore her and got pregnant. So she gave her to me if I promised to fix her up and love her. She just got a fresh faceup and her knees are fixed.
Once I figure out how to post pictures on here and stuff sure!! I would love to share her story

 

So, Kim Sunhwa posted teasers of the new Feeple65 girl coming soon and I almost missed the memo because she looked like Sylvia with a different outfit, but nope, it's actually the upcoming girl.

The ice theme is continuing from their RealFee and Minifee boy release.

Haha crap, here I was thinking it was going to be a boy and I was going to be safe, but not only she's a girl but she's also beautiful and possibly perfect for one of my characters Welp, guess I'll just have to hope she won't be limited only and accept that fullset isn't happening even if I kinda want it too.

 

She's familiar. I wonder if she's a F65 version of a recent minifee head?

 

I'm in trouble too, just when I thought I was safe @Yuns GORGEOUS girl, and yes, very similar to Sylvia so not sure I absolutely NEED her though. Her fullset and accessories on the other hand HUST HAVE

That's funny, @The Beautiful Doll , I get a very different vibe from her! She doesn't remind me of Sylvia at all. I know a lot of people love her, but Sylvia does absolutely nothing for me (which is obviously just my opinion, no offense intended to those who like her! It's just a matter of taste), but this girl I'm in love with. I've been going back and forth looking at her pictures throughout the day, can't even remember the last time I had that reaction to a doll, haha. Clearly I'm in trouble!

@The Beautiful Doll I guess! Clearly I have no choice here, the doll gods have spoken, haha. The timing is pretty bad right now though, as I have a layaway ongoing and need to save up for the import fees for both a head (the layaway) and a body, so as much as I may love this girl, she'll have to wait. Very relieved to see on their page that on the basics she's marked as a regular basic rather than event limited though! Granted the majority of them is, but you never know right? Hopefully I can bring her home later on this year. It's just a shame I won't be able to get her with her fullset, because it's really lovely too.

 

So... Am I the only one who thinks Ine looks like exactly like Minifee Chloe on a bigger body? I mean, I know there's already a FP65 version of the Chloe sculpt, but seriously, Ine looks MORE like Chloe than Chloe does! I think she's stunning but the resemblance is a little disconcerting.

No, I don't think she looks much like Chloe. Her eyes are too small compared to Chloe's. Either her minifee or F60 version.

 

Yeah, her eyes are slightly smaller. But her nose and mouth and general face shape seem spot-on.

 

I personally don’t see Chloe at all. I’d only wish Chloe had such a nose. It’s the one thing I’d change about Chloe in all her sizes except Littlefee and Feeple65 versions (and Feeple65 is my favorite of all Chloe’s.)

To me she looks exactly like Sylvia. If anything maybe a tad bit like Sircca. But ofherwise she is Sylvia with just the smaaaaaallest differences. Enough to warrant slapping a new name on. But until I see her blank I’ll reserve my full blown opinion.

I’m all for them releasing the same sculpts in a different size but two dolls that look similar back to back (almost) is a bit much... especially since both are Feeple65.

So I’ve basically found myself going ??? since I saw her because the timing makes no sense to me at all. Showed it to my mom and she thought it was Sylvia. Showed it to my neighbors and it was the same with them. One friend said she was like a Feeple Sircca. Most the general vote from the people I asked was Sylvia. One person said Rendia/Mirwen nose with Sircca lips “if she were a grown woman.”

Let’s hope a boy is next for this scale because a lot of people have been waiting for a guy.

For comparison's sake:

 

Looks like she has minifee Chloe’s open lips but that’s the only resemblance I see. The eye shape is completely different to all of them. The one on the right (Sylvia?) looks like Mirwen in the eyes.

 

It's true that Ine doesn't look much Chloe's company photos, with that black center in Chloe's mouth and the smokey eyes, but I was instantly reminded of many custom Chloes I've seen which makes me think the base sculpt is very similar. In my opinion, her thin-bridged ski-slope nose and her round mouth with upturned corners both look exactly like MNF Chloe's and her eyes actually look a lot like 65 Chloe's (the difference in makeup and eyebrow shape disguises the similarities, I think). The overall shape of her face seems to be very smooth and gently rounded, too, which reminds me of MNF Chloe rather than the more angular jawlines of the others (though it's hard to tell with long hair).

On the other hand, Sylvia's mouth looks more downturned at the corners and her eyes look a little more rectangular (by which I mean the top and bottom lids are more straight while Chloe's and Ine's are smoothly curved). I don't see much resemblance to Sircca except for the color pallet (and I think the white eyelashes and pale eye makeup make her look more like Sylvia, too).

This is why I wish more companies included blank sculpt photos right upfront... it's so hard to tell what a sculpt really looks like behind the faceup and the studio photos.

 

I agree whole heartedly! Every order page should always have photos of the sculpt blank. Always!

 

Changing topic from the faces, Ine seems to be on a new body? Or is it just the new style of face connector?

 

My opinions holds true. She’s just the “nice” twin of Sylvia. Borrowing a bit of red fabric from her sexy sister’s closet to spice up her white gown. I don’t see Chloe at all and I have a custom faced Chloe at home (as well as Sircca!) I would pay a lot of money if they made Feeple65 Chloe into a MNF (I don’t count Chicline because of the pinhead) as I love longer faces and I hardly see those ever sculpted.

But the beauty of dolls is everyone sees different things and can turn each doll into something so radically different that it might as well not be the same doll anymore. So, if people think she looks like this or that and like her for it, all the power to them!

 

The F65 Chloe in MNF version is the Chicline Chloe. (though it's a much smaller head.)

I agree, I also have a custom Chloe and I can't see Chloe in the new F65, perhaps a touch in the lips, but no where else.

I am happy to say I'm completely not interested in this girl, although admittedly I probably would only be interested if they finally did a F65 Lishe, which I've been waiting for since they did an F65 Ital (Breakaway).
And so I'm not coming in empty handed, here is the before said F65 Itals.

@Kittzel Imo the new scupt looks like she has a Mirwen nose & Alicia mouth and eye shape. When I first saw her she felt familiar to me too.

 

Question: Can anyone tell me whether the old F65 female headback will fit on the new F65 body? I asked Fairyland and their answer made it sound like they aren't compatible, but it looks like the new body also uses a neck connector, so I'm confused as to why the entire head couldn't be swapped out. Is the connector or neck size different or something?

I REALLY want to get a Chloe again, but I want her on the new body. I just need to know whether they'd actually be compatible or not.

 

As far as I can tell, my vampire Sylvia is on the old body. even though I asked for the new bosom (got older style)
maybe because she's tan. used the older mold. confusing. Fairyland meets Dollshe.

I was looking at the site and it looks like on the basic sets you can choose the bust size, normal or corset. So I wonder if they redid the normal bust to fit the new body.

 

I wondered if it was just the bosom, but the hands are old-style with notches. she's just like my Chloe Elf full set from several years ago.

the shoes are utterly fantastic. I guess CP cast the resin and Fairyland gets the upper part made? works of art.

 

I heard back from Fairyland and they said that the old head would fit the new body, but they were still testing compatibility between the two and were unwilling to start an a la carte system for the F65 just yet and yadda yadda...

That's fine, I understand that, but I'm not asking for an a la carte system. I just want to know if they'll put an old Chloe head on a new corset-bust body and sell it to me. ^^;

I wonder if I tell them that if they won't sell, I'll just buy off the secondhand market instead and thus they won't get any of the money for it, whether they'll change their minds. I'm not above fighting a little dirty to get my dream girl.

 

My 2010 Chloe and 2017 corset bust Sylvia can swap bodies but not the head backs. I can put the Chloe on the new body but I need to swap the head back and not just the the face plate.

 

Yes, that's exactly my point. Swap the ENTIRE head, not the face plate. That shouldn't be a problem at all. I don't see why they can't make a Chloe faceplate and headback and put it on the new body. They told me it can be done, so why not do it?

 

Question about stringing. I’m only familiar with how resin soul is strung. I took apart my feeple and she’s strung with one huge loop for both legs. And I’m having a huge issue with her jack knifing on me. Will a loop for each leg fix the issue. It seems like no matter how tight or loose I made the big loop she does the same thing. Do you think sueding will help? Ah! I need help!

 

a loop for each leg could be the answer. I've only taken apart older CP dolls. very simple stringing. but, I have changed out some one-loopers to two and that made them more stable & poseable.

@Stormlight - CP is fussy. even broken parts take them forever to replace. It seems simple enough to just let you have Chloe (entire head) on the new body, but then I got the old body after ordering the new.

So I had emailed Fairyland with some questions about Ine, including whether they had a photo of her blank faceplate (which they don't), and was told something interesting. Apparently she comes with the old body, for some reason. I can't help but wonder why they'd renew the body only to make new releases come with the old one anyway.

 

I did see that she came with the old bust and the outfit was made to fit the old bust. I just assumed they stuck the old bust on the new body. I know with the basic dolls you can choose which bust to order. So does that mean they'd just switch the bodies entirely? I'm confused now. ^^;

The old body is gorgeous but that chest and the steep arch in her back just made her completely unable to sit up by herself. I had such a love/hate relationship with it. lol I'm really hoping the new body has fixed that issue.

And! Turns out that DDE had fullset Sylvias in stock so I took the plunge and ordered one. I'm hoping she'll ship within a few days. Next step I guess is to see whether I can get hold of an entire F65 Chloe head. Haven't seen any on the MP yet but I know they've popped up from time to time.

 

I'm just as confused! Tbh I'm hoping it was a communication problem and they meant old bust and not body, because I was hoping to order her on the new body. I'll answer the email asking for further clarification on that.

That's interesting, I've never had a problem with my girl sitting on her own! In fact she spent months sitting unaided inside my cabinet. Though I do agree that arch on her back is very steep. I love the old body, but I really want my next girl to have the new one, especially so I can compare them, maybe see if I'll want to upgrade my current girl's body eventually and all.

Oooh congrats! Hopefully she arrives soon. I haven't checked the MP lately but I've seen them pop up on occasion so I don't think it'll be too hard to get one.

 

Hmmm. Maybe I just never figured out how to get my Chloe to sit up. I know there was a trick with locking the legs or something but I never got it. She always just flopped backward on me.

Yup, I've seen heads pop up on the MP in the past (usually when I didn't have the money to get one), and there are a few full dolls listed now (in the wrong color, of course). I'll just post a WTB thread if I have to, but I'll wait a bit. Sylivia was a nice chunk of money. Need to let my funds recoup a bit. ^^;

 

Yeah, you just sit her and then push her legs towards her torso and it locks. My girl has been getting a little floppy lately so sometimes it takes a bit of insisting to get it to lock, but I don't recall her ever unlocking those joints on her own afterwards.

Haha, that's fair! Especially since you got her as a fullset, that's quite the investment.

I’ve heard that feeple65 is a bit harder to find fitting clothes than the other sizes

 

I've found that Iplehouse SID clothes and shoes fit them perfectly. So anything sized to fit Iplehouse SID girls should work well with F65 girls.

 

I get Iplehouse SID stuff and SuperGem stuff for my Siean. It all fits very well. I got her second hand though and was told her bust had been sanded to fit into SD16 tops, however I haven't tried that size yet. The sanding must have been an incredibly professional job, because it doesn't show at all. Very well done. Anyway, below is Siean in a dress specifically made for Iplehouse SID.

Update: it was a communication issue. Fairyland meant she comes with the old bust, not body. They confirmed she comes with the renewed body but with the old bust. Which makes a lot more sense, to me at least.

 

that is so weird about the body. wonder why my girl is on the older one? not complaining. she poses beautifully, sits like a soldier.

 

Sylvia arrived last night and holy schmoly her head is tiny! lol She could fit on an F60 body no problem. She'd be pin-headed if not for the wig.

Her outfit is awesome and it only took an hour and a half and a pair of tweezers to lace those stockings and the back of her corset shirt. Her shoes are amazing, if a little bit snug on her feet. But she stands in them so it's all good.

Oh! I finally figured out the leg trick to get her to sit up! I dont know why I could never get my Chloe to do it, but it may be I'll just have to buy another Chloe and be done with it, because not sure now if I want to sell Sylvia's head. She's way too pretty!

 

Loose and flexible 16SD and 13SD clothes can be worn.
Or not so tight 16SD pants is no problem.

Her pants are 16SD size, the jacket is 13SD boy.

 

What sculpt is she?? She is gorgeous!!!!!

The boys don't get a lot of love. Here's Ryujinn, my lazy, womanizing dragon lord. Still waiting for his proper outfit and eyes to ship from Soom, but in the meantime I rigged this up from a sash to another outfit. The rest of the boys now are demanding it be washed thoroughly after he's done with it (or burned), but what can ya do? He refuses to wear normal clothes.
