Fairyland Feedback (ALL)

Oct 31, 2007

    1. * What did you order?
      MNF Small Bust Chloe ala cart with faceup

      * When did you order?
      January 5, 2011

      * How was the communication?
      It was fine. I received personal responses to my few questions, even though they were extraordinarily busy.

      * How easy was it to pay?
      Easy. I just requested to pay with PayPal, and they sent me an invoice shortly after.

      * How long did it take to ship? It shipped March 18, 2011. So a few months (not gonna do the math) but it was shorter than I expected and worth it.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Absolutely. FL's dolls are the cutest, most beautiful dolls I have ever held in person. They pose like a dream.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      With minor differences in the face up, since she's not the fullset. :) So her faceup didn't sparkle, but she's so beautiful in person. I love everything about her.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Yes, very much yes. I will definitely buy more of FL's products.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? N/A

      * Would you buy this company's products second-hand?
      Yes, and I have done so before. ^_^

    2. * What did you order?
      Feeple 65 Chloe Full Set

      * When did you order?
      December 17, 2010

      * How was the communication?
      Good - I asked a few questions during the wait and the responded within a business day or two.

      * How easy was it to pay?
      Easy - I Requested PayPal and they sent me the address to PayPal the money.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      3 months - She shipped on March 10th (arrived on the 12th).

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes - She is very well made. Fairyland really thought everything out and she is worth the price.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yes

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Yes - except the sleeping face I ordered had two very noticeable air bubbles on her cheek that clearly someone attempted to sand down.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? They sent out a replacement sleeping face as soon as they had one available. I've had my order messed up by another company and they wanted me to pay to ship the wrong piece back, so I am very happy fairyland fixed this problem without hesitation and without making me pay to shipping. Good business practices like that go a long way for me.

      * Would you order from this company again?
      Yes

      * Would you buy this company's products second-hand?
      Probably, but I normally don't buy second-hand.

    3. * What did you order? I ordered a basic PKF Ante with the default face-up and a peach mohair wig for PKF
      * When did you order? December 29th 2010
      * How was the communication? My invoice was slightly delayed due to New Year, but generally communication was clear and prompt
      * How easy was it to pay? Very easy, I used PayPal
      * How long did it take to ship? They shipped it on March 2nd, which I think was two days off the end of processing time.
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? The doll, yes. The wig, no. In the photos the wig looks longer and fuller whereas the one they sent me had a few scraggly pieces hanging down off the wig cap and a visible strip of wig cap along the top that I cannot cover-up with hair.
      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Again - doll, yes. Wig, no.
      * Were you satisfied with the product? I'm satisfied with the doll but not the wig
      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? I never contacted them about the wig - I figured it was probably more hassle than it was worth

    4. * What did you order?

      * How easy was it to pay?
      really easy.
      * How long did it take to ship?
      40 working days while making and 4-5 days to arrive
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes Definetly.
      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yup. Minus the face-up ^^
      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Very satisfied, after I received her it made me feel like wanting to order from fairyland again.

    5. What did you order?
      Minifee Chloe Ala Carte including sleeping head and an extra pair of hands

      When did you order?
      I ordered on 12th of March and payment was confirmed on 15th.

      How was the communication?

      There wasn't much communication needed, but I did ask them a question and they answered me the next day. Very polite and professional sounding too, imo.

      How easy was it to pay?
      Very easy, I used Paypal.

      How long did it take to ship?
      Once the payment confirmed, I counted exactly on the 41th business days, they gave me a shipping notice. So imo, very precise to the timeframe they gave.

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

      The price is a bit expensive but finally having my first FL doll, I totally think the quality is amazing and the price is reasonable.

      Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      I asked for blank though, but looking at the blank head and body and such; yeah, definitely looks like the sales picture.

      Were you satisfied with the product?
      Ohh, definitely! I'm so very very satisfied.

      If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      N/A

    6. * What did you order?
      Chocopuki Lily and Sugar, pukipuki wig

      * When did you order?
      February 23, 2011. I sent the payment two days later.

      * How was the communication?
      It was great. I received responses to my questions within a business day. They were very friendly and helpful.

      * How easy was it to pay?
      I paid with PayPal, so it was very easy.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      It shipped April 27, 2011. It was much earlier than I expected.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Absolutely. The dolls are very well made, their posing is amazing! I would say, FL dolls are perfect. The chocopuki Lily and Sugar fullsets were sold out and I ordered them as chocopuki Piki and Cupid Fullsets. I was very pleasantly surprised that there were chocopuki Lily and Sugar pictures on the boxes, and also Lily and Sugar metal plates. So Fairyland did everything to make me even more happy.
      I do not like the quality of the wig so much. It is very heavy and does not stay on the doll's head. I think the wig cap will not help much too, it will be necessary to glue it to the head. But I am very happy anyway, the dolls are so good that I do not mind that the wig is not perfect :)

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      The dolls look much better than in the sales pictures. The wig looks like in the pictures.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Yes, I was very satisfied.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? N/A

      * Would you order from this company again?
      Yes, definitely.

      * Would you buy this company's products second-hand?
      Yes.

      How long did it take to ship?
      It took almost exactly two months. She shipped on May 26, 2011.

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes, the quality is superb. The resin feels sturdy and the joint construction is amazing - she is the most acrobatic doll in my collection. Her full set is very well made - the shoes and the outfit are beautiful and very detailed. The wig fits very well and is of good quality - not too heavy and not so thin as to get fly-aways.

      Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      The doll looked even better in person. Her full set looks exactly as pictured.

      Were you satisfied with the product?
      Absolutely.

      If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      N/A

      How was the communication?
      I didn't communicate with them. Only received paypal invoice and shipment notice.

      How easy was it to pay?
      It was made though paypal in two transaction because of my Paypal limit, but there was no problems.

      How long did it take to ship?
      They sent my doll in two months after my payment, as they had said.

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      The price is appropriate, cuz the quality is really good.

      Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Even better. Cupid without make-up is very cute^^

      Were you satisfied with the product?
      In general yes, but doll has a lot of seams and there are no magnets in faceplate and headback. So her face easily fall off :( But I guess all their dolls don't have these magnets.

      If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?

      Feplee65 Roke dragon fullsett

      * When did you order?
      11.04.2011

      * How was the communication?

    14. * What did you order? Minifee Luka fullset in normal skin with sleeping head and both faceups

      * When did you order? very early January 2011 if I remember right

      * How was the communication? After the fact, not so great. FL's English twitter "politely" turned their nose up at me for the dangerously-tight stringing and engineering issues I knew about then. I did not know about the resin issues until later.

      * How easy was it to pay? I paid in full through DDE so the answer doesn't apply to FL.

      * How long did it take to ship? 112 normal days, almost 4 standard months... while people ordering direct got their dolls in 2 months or less. I happen to know DDE's FL order went in just after they had mine on the list, too. I have since heard that DDE orders continue to get ignored for frustrating amounts of time.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? NOT REMOTELY.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Yes, if I could get him to stop contorting like his entire body was going to get sucked into his torso.

      * Were you satisfied with the product? NO.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? See "communication" answer and well now they are calling the resin issues "standard" so I give you a video I took of the pockmarks/snowflakes and terrible sanding, plus the ridiculous seamlines that should not be on a $700 MSD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNQKhYeLifk

      Needless to say, FL/CP will not see another dime out of me. I have since replaced the A-line body with a Dollzone normal pink skin double-jointed MSD body and the resin match is excellent this year. I guess the bright side is, I got to learn how to use epoxy putty to turn the MNF head/neck sockets into normal ones. The down side is, I'm potentially out $350 (pre-price increase that hit after I ordered, the body now costs $365 from FL) and my dream doll experience brought me to tears long before I knew to look for the pockmarks and scratches. This is not how business should be done. Ever.

    15. Note: I am due four feedback reviews for Fairyland. I will be posting them in separate posts in order to illustrate a fair picture of each of my orders.

      * What did you order? MiniFee Miyu a la carte (cutie bust, cutie legs), No. 8 hands

      * When did you order? April 23, 2011

      * How was the communication? Excellent - my questions were answered within 24 hours on weekdays

      * How easy was it to pay? Very Easy - I used PayPal

      * How long did it take to ship? About 2 months

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? For the most part, yes

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Yes, it looked identical to the sales pictures

      * Were you satisfied with the product? I am 90% satisfied with Miyu. Her resin, engineering, finish and sculpt are top notch. The 10% dissatisfaction comes from the fact that one of her legs is shorter than the other, making it difficult putting her in standing positions. Aside from this, she's perfect.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? I didn't discover the leg length issue until about one month after I received her. I always had difficulty making her stand, but I didn't realize that the reason was different leg lengths. Therefore, I felt that it is too late to contact Fairyland about this.

    16. * What did you order? PukiFee Basic Luna, MiniFee Chloe a la cart (cutie legs, small bust), PukiFeel pajamas

      * When did you order? May 10, 2011

      * How was the communication? Excellent - my questions were answered within 24 hours on weekdays

      * How easy was it to pay? Very Easy - I used PayPal

      * How long did it take to ship? Slightly longer than 2 months

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Absolutely

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Both girls and the outfit looked exactly as they did on official pictures

      * Were you satisfied with the product? Yes, very satisfied. Both girls came to me in perfect condition - resin quality, finish and sculpts are top notch.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? N/A

    17. * What did you order? MiniFee Rheia a la carte (small bust, cutie legs), MiniFee high heel feet, LittleFee wings and two pairs of eyes.

      * When did you order? June 1, 2011

      * How was the communication? Excellent - my questions were answered within 24 hours on weekdays

      * How easy was it to pay? Very Easy - I used PayPal

      * How long did it take to ship? About 2 months

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Unfortunately, no

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Yes, all items looked like the sales pictures

      * Were you satisfied with the product? I was satisfied with the wings, eyes and high heel feet. Unfortunately, I was absolutely not satisfied with Rheia. The issues that she came to me with were pockmarks on the back of one of her thighs (see picture below) and heavy scratches on about 50% of her body. Pockmarks are tiny pits in her resin - they could possibly be removed with a lot of sanding, however, this will also take quite a bit of the resin off the thigh, making it look odd. The heavy scratches can be taken off with lots of sanding with no detriment to the doll's body. Rheia's resin finish was not on par with her price - she cost me way too much money to arrive in such condition.

      Picture of the pockmarks. They are very difficult to capture, so this is the best I could do.

      [IMG]

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? I requested that a new upper thigh part be sent to me to replace the one that has pockmarks on it. I did mention the scratches on her body, and said that I was dissatisfied that a doll as pricey as a MiniFee came to me in such condition, but did not request a resolution, as I can technically sand them off myself. To make it easier on Fairyland, I suggested that the replacement thigh part be sent out with my next order, thus saving Fairyland shipping costs AND guaranteeing them that I will be purchasing from them again. Unfortunately, Fairyland refused to do anything about the pockmarks, stating that the pockmarks (and heavy scratches) are within their quality standard.

      For more details about this issue, including others' experiences and copies of my correspondence with Fairyland, please see this thread: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?466289-Damaged-Fairyland-Dolls

    18. * What did you order? MiniFee Mirwen a la carte (cutie legs, small bust)

    19. Positive

      What did you order? Two ALC Minifees

      When did you order? 8th of October

      How was the communication? Fine! I decided, a few weeks after ordering, that I wanted a sleeping head for one of my MNF, and they let me add that no problem.

      How long did it take to ship? they arrived on 28th November. Very pleased with the promptness.

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yep. They have the sanding marks and some snowflakes, but they don't bother me since I can only see them when I am up close or in the right light. I do wish they'd string them slightly more loosely, but that's just personal preference.

      Did the item look like the sales pictures? Yep!

      Were you satisfied with the product? Most definitely.

      If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? n/a

      Would you order from this company again? Just waiting on the next event ;)

      How easy was it to pay? Paypal, no problem

      How long did it take to ship? They arrived at the end of May

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? For the most part. The face ups are beautiful and the resin looks nice. There are some scratches on my Chloe's legs, and her right leg get's caught all of the time so that she cannot stand.

      Did the item look like the sales pictures? Yes

      Were you satisfied with the product? For the most part

      If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? n/a

      When did you order?
      January 06, 2012 at midnight

      How easy was it to pay?
      Very easy when paying by Paypal.

      How long did it take to ship?
      She arrived February 23. Almost two months.

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes, she's a Minifee coming through DDE and not direct so the slight dollar price increase is understandable.

      Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yes, but she's blank.

      Were you satisfied with the product?
      Yes, very. She was packaged well, shipped super fast with not a scratch or pockmark or snowflake mark in sight. I'm buying from Fairyland again for sure.

      The only thing that I didn't like was the super long wait buying preorder without an status email. I requested that they would email me when my Minifee came to America. I never got that email, but just her tracking number instead.
      :? I don't recommend a preorder from DDE, but I will buy from them again ONLY if the item is in stock.

    30. What did you order?
      Minifee Woosoo Boy A-line ALC and Minifee jeans.

      When did you order?
      I ordered on the 3rd of April, and the payment was confirmed on the 4th.

      How was the communication?
      There wasn't much communication, except the payment being received and the shipping notice being sent.

      How easy was it to pay?

      Very easy. I paid through Paypal.

      How long did it take to ship?
      They actually took a while, but its very understandable because of the past event. They shipped my order on the 15th of June 2012.

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes, it is.

      Did the item look like the sales pictures?

      Yes.

      Were you satisfied with the product?
      I am satisfied. Just only a minor problem was that the headcap for my Woosoo was very loose. But that's about it.

      If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?

      Not applicable.

    31. What did you order?
      PKF Zio, blank, basic.

      When did you order?
      Ordered May 2nd, 2012.

      How was the communication?
      n/a other than payment and shipping confirmations.

      How easy was it to pay?
      Very easy, Paypal.

      How long did it take to ship?
      Shipped on June 26th, so less than the 50 days quoted on the product page. ^^

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes, it is. There are no damages, the resin is smooth and the engineering is lovely.

      Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      He does look a little different, but I think that is mostly because their product photos for Zio are very odd, overexposed and such, and not showing very many angles of the sculpt. I wish they had blank photos of him up. But now that he has a faceup, he's adorable. ^_^

      Were you satisfied with the product?
      Yes.

      If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      n/a

    32. * What did you order?
      MNF Carl A-Line ALC, NS, Blank

      * When did you order?
      May 14th 2012 through Fairyland

      * How was the communication?
      Excellent. All notifications were received. I didn't really need to email them about anything this time.

      * How easy was it to pay?
      Very easy with paypal.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      Shipped on July 4th so just under two months. Received him on July 10th.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes. No visible seamlines at all on this one or if there are, it's so faint I've missed them.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Pretty much.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Yes, I am. One small thing to note though is that his headcap does have a small gap where it meets his head at the top but the cap doesn't fall off and seems secure enough so it's fine.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      N/A

    33. * What did you order?
      In natural resin skintone: MNF Chloe sculpt on Active Line girl body (cutie bust, cutie legs) with mobility joints, hands No. 6 and face up//Chloe sleeping head with face up//spare magnet hands No. 3//spare magnet hands No. 8//spare heeled feet

      * When did you order?
      July 9th 2012 directly from Fairyland

      * How was the communication?
      Brilliant. They were always very polite and patiently answered all of my questions, before and after I made my order. I never waited for their reply longer than few days (they answer each email, sooner or later). They use fluent English so there never were any problems with the communication.

      * How easy was it to pay?
      Too easy ;-) Via PayPal. No problems at all, even though I payed right after they changed their PayPal system.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      My order was shipped on August 15th so - as you can see - the processing took them about 5 weeks (I was really, I mean REALLY, surprised). On August 18th the package landed on cargo in Warsaw (my capitol city) and on August 21th I held it in my hands. So the delivery (EMS) was super fast. I also recommend the EMS tracking system: you always can check online what's happening to your package.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes, in general. I received everything I ordered. The doll turned out to be beautiful beyond my expectations, the face up they gave her is astonishing and the design is genius, indeed. They even gave her the size and colour of eyes I asked for. In detail, there are a few seamlines visible but not rough, there are some tiny scratches not visible with the bare eye and also a larger scratch (like a scar, a damage from some heavy tool, roughly sanded) on the sleeping head cap, but I don't mind something that will be entirely covered by a wig: they totally fit the margin I gave them. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that the magnet hands No. 8 I received didn't fit (!) doll's wrists at all.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      In my personal opinion even better, because FL gave my Auri quite uniqe face up which I just LOVE although it doesn't look like the one at the FL sales pictures at all. Mine's much lighter, more girly and rosy, I'd say.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Yes, I was and I am, excluding those magnet hands No. 8 that don't fit doll's wrists.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      I wrote about the spare magnet hands issue to FL, of course. FL at once admitted that they had such issues in the past, they apologized and after few very polite emails stated that they are going to replace the defective hand parts and send them to me entirely for free which should take up to 2 weeks but I received them in 6 days (great fit this time). They also gave me some extra credit points as apologies. I think they managed quite well and I'm totally satisfied with the solution they proposed.

      * Would you order from this company again?
      I would, if any other FairyLand doll would steal my heart :-)

      * Would you buy this company's products second-hand?
      I don't think so beacuse I don't like the idea of second-hands in general. But I never say never.

      This is the complete faulty magnet hands No. 8 and damaged sleeping head cap story for those who are interested:

      First of all, I'd strongly recommend solving such problems in a peaceful manner. Kindness and politeness cost nothing and are always helpful in interpersonal contacts, especially regarding the culture barrier (East/West). Keeping it in mind, I held my nerves and started my email with praising my doll's beauty, noticing the general quality, artism of the design and so on. In the end of the email I mentioned that 'there is one problem, though'. I described the nature of the fault (the spare magnet hands No. 8 I received don't fit doll's wrists at all) and asked, whether FL could assist me in widening the magnet holes, providing information needed to help me get through this process. They answered very quickly apologizing and admitting, that such issues with spare magnet hand parts did happen in the past (it seems like FairyLand plays fair) but they also stated that I shouldn't fix them by myself since it's my first doll and I have no experience. Instead, they advised me to push the hands strongly onto the wrists. They also promised, that they'll send me any spare parts for free if I breake something while trying ;---) Well, as you may suspect, I wasn't eager to damage my doll just to fit those damn No. 8 hands. Once again I held my nerves and informed them very politely, that my husband had just tried it with whole of his strenght and wasn't able to put them on a doll, either. At this point, I think, my case must have been taken over by some other person, because I received even more effusive apologies (also for this ridiculous idea of fitting those hands by force) and I was asked for some comparison photos of the faulty and fitted spare hands I received to provide me with the proper assistance needed. Here's one of the photos I sent them:

      [IMG]

      This is comparison of the left hands: good No. 6 in the left and faulty No. 8 in the right. As you can see, the magnet hole of the No. 8 hand is visibly lopsided. I pointed this and also suggested, that - in my opinion - it's the reason why the both hands No. 8 don't fit (the right one is similar). In the next email FairyLand totally agreed with me. There were even more apologies and also explanation, that they lack men power and not always are able to check everything before shipping. I didn't have to mention the refund: they proposed themselves that as soon as possible (about two weeks) I'll receive spare, tested hands No. 8 entirely for free. When I thanked for their kindness, thay granted me with some amount of extra credit points in return. I received the replacement hand parts like in within 6 days; they're both a perfect fit and look great so I'm very pleased.

      Having this settled, I brought to their attention the damaged sleeping head cap case, because at some point I realised that it might become troublesome in the future (even though it can be easily covered by a wig), if I'd like to - for example - sell it. But I didn't expect miracles, since it was my fault I didn't tell them about this damage at once, along with the hand parts problem.

      [IMG]

      Well, this time FL could only propose a little lower price for replacement, but I lost interest in it when they explained to me, that making a replacement head cap is very risky if you don't have the faceplate it's supposed to fit (it may not fit at all). I was also kindly reminded that they take under consideration only damages reported within 7 days since arrival (and they were right about it). In this occasion it turned out that I was supposed to receive my sleeping head with a facemask, since it was painted, and I didn't (luckily the faceup was unharmed). So, once again, I got their apologies and a promise, that they are going to change their production procedures so that in the future everyone receive their painted heads with facemasks.

      Well, I don't bear a grudge against them, after all. In my opinion, FairyLand has done well, the best under those circumstances, I guess, and I'm glad I trusted them my hard-saved money. I understand and respect their policy; to me Fairyland turned out to be a good, reliable company anyway.

    34. * What did you order?
      ALC A-Line Blank Minifee Ryeon

      * When did you order?
      August 16th, 2012

      * How was the communication?
      N/A

      * How easy was it to pay?
      Very easy. As soon as I completed my order, it brought me straight to PayPal to make the payment.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      She shipped on September 12th and arrived at my house on September 20th.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Most definitely. There were a couple of tiny air bubbles on two of her joints and a few equally tiny nicks on her arms and legs. In short, barely anything. There's also a small dark smudge on the side of her left foot, but I'm sure it will come off with my magic eraser. There is some slightly lighter-discolouration on the top of her headcap, but I don't care about that because it will be covered my her wig. I know it seems like a lot, but I'm really just nit-picking. The nicks are only visible in certain light at a certain angle and you'd have to be looking VERY closely. I still think she was worth every penny.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Aside from being blank, she's identical.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Definitely! She's my first Minifee and she's even better than I anticipated. <3

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      N/A

    35. * What did you order?
      RealPuki Soso with OE faceplate and blank SP via ThinkPink! along with a doll from another company

      * When did you order?
      20th of January

      * How was the communication?
      N/A

      * How easy was it to pay?
      N/A

      * How long did it take to ship?
      The doll arrived at Think Pink! on 8th of May. (I received my Realpuki in July, because I had to wait much longer for the other doll in the order)

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      I knew what I was buying - I have an RP already

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yes - assumed they were okay.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      No. As I unpacked the doll I noticed two problems:
      - The OE faceplate was extremally thin around the mouth, it was actually visible from outside as darker areas, the FU on one of the ears was a little uneaven.
      - The sleeping faceplate was actually the one of Pupu not Soso.

      I wrote to Think Pink! about the thin resin and wrong FP and sent them pictures. According to TP! Fairyland refused to acknowledge they had sent the wrong SF, but agreed to send another OE face. So TP! ordered a second blank SF from Fairyland on my costs (probably with another order)

      On 23th of September I've got an info from TP that my replacement arrived. But instead of sending another OE face AS PROMISED they sent the replacement of the blank SF.

      I was extremally *peeeeep* off with Fairyland and solved the thin resin problem by filling the inside of the face with white epoxy. Few days later (I was away for a while) Think Pink! offered to replace the OE face with one they have had in stock if I sent mine to them on my cost. But because I modified it, they cannot take it back anymore.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      Actually they didn't. Think Pink tried to solve it as good as they could, but apparently Fairyland is not cooperating.
      They say one thing and do another, refuse to acknowledge their own mistakes.

      I mean it is not like I have bought a $5 Barbie to mend a NEW DOLL by myself. Considering their size Pukis are one of the more expensive dolls out there. I am really dissatisfied about how the whole order was processed.

      She does have seam lines, but otherwise she's flawless!

      Yes.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Very much so :)

    37. * What did you order?
      A a la carte Minifee Rheia, without faceup, with active line body and no 6 hands, also ordered no 7 hands for a friend.

      * When did you order?'
      In July 2012, just a day after the release of feeple60.

      * How was the communication?
      There was no need for communication.

      * How easy was it to pay?
      Really easy through Paypal.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      Just under a month. The shipping itself took a few days.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      No, it was not. She came with really sloppy sanded seams, you could see lighter resin and scratches from sandpaper that was too coarse. On her chest and right lower arm she got small irregularities. You can barely see them, and they do not photograph, but you can easily feel them. Such an expensive doll shouldn't have these defects. But the posing is extraordinary, so without the defects she'd be worth the price!

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yes.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Not really, see question 6.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      I didn't contact them since I've heard of people who've gotten dolls in much worse condition than my Rheia arrived in, and Fairyland did not help them. I decided it wasn't worth my time and that I could live with/fix her defects quite easily.

    38. * What did you order?
      LittleFee Soo Dark Elf Basic in normal skin with face-up.

      * When did you order?
      September 26, 2012

      * How was the communication?
      Good, I received the confirmation email promptly and no other contact was needed aside from the shipping notice which was also received.

      * How easy was it to pay?
      Easy, the wonder that is PayPal.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      November 4th - November 15th
      There was an extra two days that were added on to the delivery because of a delay with Canada post, so it would have only taken 7 business days.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

      I think so, she's absolutely gorgeous.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yes.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Couldn't be happier.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      n/a

    39. * What did you order?
      F60 Girl body, White Skin, Medium Bust. And then some months later I added 2 pairs of White Skin hands (No.17 & No.13) and a Normal Skin Littlefee Nanuri Faceplate. (as I could qualify for the event gift)

      * When did you order?
      First Order was placed 11th November 2012, Second Order was placed 10th of January 2013

      * How was the communication?
      I asked fairyland on their QnA If I could place another order (combined with my existing one) to qualify for the event gift. They replied promptly, with clear English that it was okay, and would extend the processing time for all orders; and they'd make a note on my existing order to expect a new order to be added to it.

      * How easy was it to pay?
      Super easy, paid with paypal.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      Because I added a second order, it slowed down shipping. I was entirely fine with this, and Fairyland had made me aware of it. I received a shipping notice on the 7th of February, items received 11th .

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes, the body was certainly worth every dollar. It poses beautifully and the resin is smooth and silky, with no marks, scratches or discolorations anywhere. The hands all fit perfectly and the Nanuri face is very cute!

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yep. But they seem to have taken down the listing for the F60 bodies now.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?

      Yes, very much so.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?

      * Would you order from this company again? In a heartbeat~

      Very easy.

      * How long did it take to ship?

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes for the PKF, no for the F65 as detailed below

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yes.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      my Pukifee was in perfect condition, but the F65 had a fauly head-back that I actually had to sand down in order to attach her head! her SP was/is very loose (need eye putty to stay attached to the head back at all) and she did not come with the default glass eyes (it specifically states in her listing that random 16mm eyes are included) also her hand magnet fell out as soon as I removed her hand (it really wasn't glued in at all)

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      FL did respond quickly to my e-mail, I had fixed the head-back myself and they agreed to ship me her glass eyes (they arrived about a week later via EMS, in a very big box for one pair of eyes!) I was pleased that they helped resolve the issues, but they really need to examine the dolls more carefully before sending them out, a $700+ doll should not have this many problems!

      My doll shipped on January 6th and arrived January 9th. So, almost 3 full months.

      Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yes.

      I contacted Fairyland with photos of the damage my doll arrived with. They apologized for the issue and agreed to cast and ship replacement pieces. I received the box today and am satisfied with the resolution.

      Really short considering I ordered during an event! My order was shipped on December 17, 2013 and I got the package on the 23rd.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes! Their resin is a little thinner/lighter than other companies but I believe they make up for it with the great engineering.

      * Did the item look like the sales picture?
      Yes.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Very much so. :) The only problem I had was that the body was strung really tightly. I had to restring it after just unboxing it. But other than that, I'm happy.

      PukiPuki Pukisha

      When did you order?
      Beginning of November 2013

      How was the communication?
      Poor. I would often wait four or more days for a response, and even then I found the messages brusque and bordering on rude.

      How easy was it to pay?
      Incredibly, via PayPal.

      How long did it take to ship?
      Much, much longer than the 40 day timeframe I was initially given. I did not receive my Pukisha until early February (shipped v. late January).

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes.

      Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yes.

      Were you satisfied with the product?

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Yes. I ordered nude dolls without makeup.
      * Were you satisfied with the product? Yes. I like the way its packed, boxes and, of course, minifees but a bit disappointed about quality.

    50. What did you order?
      Feeple60 Steam Age Aqua Rin Full Set

      * When did you order?
      August 2014, through Denver Doll Emporium

      * How was the communication?
      Very good.

      * How easy was it to pay?
      Very easy.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      December 2014

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      The quality was terrible. All of the resin pieces had spots actually missing paint, the gun was broken and the corset top was missing an entire two sides of chains.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      No.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      I was horrified. I will never purchase another Fairyland item ever. Not even second hand. This company should be ashamed of what it's turned into.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      Denver Doll worked with Fairyland on my behalf to return and repair all the damaged pieces. I wish I had never taken them up on it. Fairyland kept my peices for 9 months, then when they were confronted with not returning them, they said they had mailed them directly to me and they got lost in the mail. Then they said they would send out another set but the gun wouldn't be painted because the person who paints the guns quit. They offered me $75 refund because of the unpainted gun. Interestingly enough, when I got this "NEW" set, it was in the exact same box with the exact same packaging that I returned it in! So Fairyland lied and had terrible quality control.

      *edit: I will leave the photos of the poor quality on my Flickr account so others can always see what they may be getting into.

    52. -What did you order?: LittleFee Ante Elf(Girl) Basic

      -When did you order?: October 5, 2015

      -Did you order directly from the company, or through a distributor or dealer?: Direct from Fairyland

      -How was the communication?: Very good. My order details updated as described from Item Processing to Before Shipping. Fairyland communicated via email with the sales order and shipping details. I emailed to let them know she'd arrived and they replied quickly and professionally letting me know how easy it is to replace any broken parts or report any issues. Top notch communication.

      -How easy was it to pay?: Easy payment with Paypal

      -How long did it take to ship?: Super fast. I was very worried Ante would take at least the 40 days processing listed on the website. She was shipped just 2 weeks and 2 days after the order. The flight number of the shipment was listed in the tracking and it only took 2 days to clear Canadian customs - with no duty fees. Order to door was less than 3 weeks total.

      -Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?: Yes. These dolls are expensive but beautifully made - worth the money.

      -Did the item look like the sales pictures?: Better than.

      -Were you satisfied with the product?: Very much. The default face up is beautiful. They chose lovely purple eyes and added eyelashes. They even blushed the tips of her elf ears. I love how sturdy she feels. She is well strung and easy to pose. I love her knee caps! And the magnet system is insanely awesome. She fits a wide range of clothing because it is so easy to remove her hands and feet.

      -If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?: N/A

      -Would you order from this company again?: As soon as possible. Love the product.

      -Would you buy this company's products second-hand?: I'll buy new, and direct from Fairyland.
