      29 working days! Wow! The shipping itself only took 3 days.

      Absolutely. MNFs are fantastic.

      One MiniFee and the hands on the 25th of May and the other two and the Puki on the 27th.

      I only sent two e-mails, and the replies were very fast and in good english.

      * How easy was it to pay?
      I had a bit of trouble at first, but that was probably from my end.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      The one MiniFee and hands took 21 days and the other order took 44.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes.

      Yes.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Very much so. The only complaint I could possibly have is that my Miyu's head sits on her neck a little loose, but it doesn't really bother me. FairyLand were kind enough to send me a free pair of hands, too.

      * How was the communication? Perfect, I felt well-informed and their 1:1 customer services responses usually come within 1 business day.
      * How easy was it to pay? Easy I think, I don't remember having problems.
      * How long did it take to ship? They got here 7/10, so 46 business days.
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes, everything looks well made and the free event gifts made it an excellent deal. :)
      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Yes, exactly.
      * Were you satisfied with the product? Yes, although one of the extra (gift) hands had their magnets in backwards.
      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? They asked for a picture as proof and then sent me a new pair via EMS!

      * Would you buy this company's products second-hand? Maybe but I'd probably prefer to buy direct in their case.

      I must add that I was super impressed that they sent me a replacement pair of option hands when I discovered the magnets were backwards in one of them. Since they were part of the event gifts and not normally part of the fullsets, they certainly weren't obligated to. They also gave me the points for my order even though I stupidly didn't think to make an account until after I placed my order.

      All in all, I have much love for Fairyland and their freakishly cute dolls~ :thumbup They are extremely professional, especially in comparison to most doll companies out there.

      Beyond the usual invoice and such, there was none until I left a message on the Q&A, and that was answered promptly.

      Very, just paypal invoice.

      Exactly 30 working days, but in all honesty, had I not pushed them on it, I doubt I would have got it that fast since they seem to be working with a huge backlog at the moment. I needed it to be home before a certain date because I was going away and luckily, they just made it.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      The posability and engineering of fairyland dolls is always amazing, sadly however, their quality control is slipping badly in my opinion so I suppose the price is appropriate, but it may not be if they continue on this route.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yep, apart from the damage.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Not hugely, no. The seamlines were jagged, there is a slice out of the side of the nose and dirt embedded in the resin under the chin. It looks like what it is, a rush job done by a company that's taken on too much.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      I've chosen not to follow up my complaints with fairyland on the basis that I don't have either the time or inclination to wait for them to faff about denying anything's wrong with it and/or sending out new parts. I'll fix it myself, it's quicker. So this question is N/A.

      * Would you order from this company again?
      No, I'm done with them now. I've been a loyal customer of theirs since they opened but this is unacceptable and the end of the line for me.

      * Would you buy this company's products second-hand?
      Absolutely, if I can guarantee the product was made before this massive lapse in quality control, and even then provided the price reflected the quality, I would probably consider it.

    14. I would like to start off by saying that this was the first BJD I have ever purchased. I have very little experience in owning a BJD and how they "should" look/feel/pose, so I'm writing feedback based on my newbness and how happy I am to finally own a BJD :)

      What did you order?
      Basic LittleFee Ante in Beautiful White. No faceup, no sleeping faceplate. In order notes, I requested violet or grey eyes to come with her if they were in stock.

      When did you order?
      July 13, 2009 (in Korea, it was July 12 in the US)

      How was the communication?
      WONDERFUL! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I asked a LOT of questions before actually placing an order. Some questions were silly since they were already answered somewhere else on the site, yet they answered ALL of my questions usually 24 hours or less after I posted them -- all of which were answered politely and professionally. They end their posts inviting more questions. I do not think that there was a language barrier, they understood my questions and answered to the best of their ability. To put it simply, I was more than pleased with their service.

      How easy was it to pay?
      VERY easy. They requested to be payed through a pay-pal-like website which was very secure and easy to navigate. Everything was done in a matter of seconds. The payment was approved very quickly as well, although I'm not sure exactly how long, production started the day after I ordered/payed for my doll.

      How long did it take to ship?
      They shipped her out exactly one month from the placement of my order. Since I got a very basic package -- no faceup, faceplate or extra anything -- my processing time was cut down by 10 days. Shipping took 3 days, but since there was a mess up with MY post office it took much longer (the delivery man came at the wrong time -way off schedule- and when I went to pick her up from the post office myself, it took them 15+ minutes to find her even though it's a small post office...).

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes! She feels nice, her range of poses is GREAT! (although I can't get her to do the one-leged pose on the FairyLand site... wishful thinking), and she's ADORABLE! She even came with greyish-blue-violet eyes! I don't think I would have been as happy with the other dolls I was considering in the same price range.

      Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Much better!!! While I was waiting for her I kind of regretted not getting a different face sculpt, and seriously considered buying a whole other head from someone else, but once I saw her myself I fell in love. The site doesn't do her justice, and each doll has a personality of it's own (at least that's what I think :sweat)

      Were you satisfied with the product?
      Very much so! My only concern is about the faceplate... it does seem sort of loose, but I'm not really sure, maybe that's how it's supposed to be, and it can probably easily be secured with a wig.

      If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      I'm debating whether or not I should contact them because I'm pretty sure she's fine and I just don't know how she's supposed to be.

      DEFINATELY!

      It wasn't immediate, but I wasn't expecting it to be. It was definitely quick enough.

      * How easy was it to pay?
      Not the easiest. In retrospect I should have created an account, logged into it, and then selected the 'pay with Paypal' option. Because I'd never bought from them before, however, I wound up with no account (so my purchase points didn't get applied to anything) and had to make and use an Eximbay account, which I didn't want. I thought Fairyland would handle my credit card payment directly, but they did not, and I wish that would have been stated plainly.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      Right around five weeks.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes, definitely. The Pukis are marvelous pieces of doll engineering, and they were packaged well.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yes, pretty much exactly.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Almost. I'm not sure why or how it happened, but the extra Puki body that I bought came equipped with a Multihead-sized headback and neck donut instead of a Puki-sized headback, rendering it unusable to me.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      I emailed their customer service representative and sent them photographs of the problem. After looking at the pictures, they shipped me a Puki-sized headback immediately; I got it within a week.

      * Would you order from this company again?
      I will definitely continue to buy Fairyland products, but I believe that in the future I will go through Denver Doll Emporium instead. Not because my experience with Fairyland was bad, but because using DDE seems like it would be slightly easier.

      I paid via paypal so it was done in a jiffy.

      They shipped it exactly 40 business days since they confirmed my payment. And I was able to get my doll at the customs March 12, 2009.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      YES. Very much so. The doll I ordered from them was my first BJD so when my other YO-SD sized dolls arrived, that's when I was able to compare FL's quality to others. Imho, the posing ability of their dolls is among the best.

      Yes. My Shiwoo was even better than the pictures.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      The product exceeded my expectations.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Emphatic 'yes'.

      The communication was wonderful, they replied quickly every time I bothered them, always answering my questions.

      Very easy, I simply had to wait a short amount of time for a PayPal invoice.

      40 Business days (56 days total), and he arrived four days later (including weekend.)

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Most definitely! The body design is absolutely brilliant, the mold is wonderful, the packaging is gorgeous and the face-ups are totally to die for.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      For the most part, but not entirely - as both the Kindergarten and Little Bear Bisou boys had identical face-ups but the photos are not consistant so it looks quite a lot like the face-ups have differences when they do not.

      100% so!

      I received my order on November 27th, so I would say about 41 days or so. I think this is pretty good considering that it was within the time frame that is posted on their web site. I also ordered during an event.

His faceup is stunning, and he came with high-quality glass eyes. Even the event gift calendar was of impressive quality.

      He's much more gorgeous in person. I didn't find the sales pictures misleading, but there weren't really enough of them to get a feel for the sculpt so I relied more on owner pics. I'm not sure Fairyland's pictures convey how dark their normal skin is.

      Yes and no. I'm thrilled with her resin color, her actual sculpt (the a-line body is beautiful and that face is too awesome!) and the mechanics of her hands, but honestly I'm not as impressed with her joints as I'd thought I'd be. Fabulous, yes... but I have dolls that are just as pose-able but half the price. I think the premium may for the "pick and choose" aspect of their a la Carte system, though... which I understand. I really love the idea of "building" your own doll. More companies should offer things like that!

      She also has very noticeable seam lines, but I plan to fix those and they aren't a big deal.

      Better. I don't think the Rheia promo pictures do her enough justice.

      This was my first doll, so I had nothing to compare it to, but I was impressed with the way it posed and the fantastic attention to detail in the sculpt and the design of the joints. Attention was also put into the doll individually: the seams were minimal, (especially on the hands) the eye putty was neat and very secure, and the string tension seemed very good. The head cap did have some trouble staying on, but it was a quick fix. I am usually pretty stingy, but the quality was very good, so I do not feel bad about the price I paid for this doll.

      She have big seams lines all over the body, the legs don't jointed very well at the top, the hands was very difficult to unplug, and I twisted the hook in the hand... a bubble on the feet, recorked with new resin, but not in the same color, and sanded very quickly so you can see sanding marks, the head caps of the juri event head and of the rheia sleeping don't fit at all, and it seems to be head caps from other head put on it, like that (and they are not of the same color...)... fairyland seems to change their quality, and I don't like that.

      I was very satisfied with the event gifts. The hands are detailed and the Duck plate could be snapped on properly.       They keep insisting that loose FPs are part of the company norm (Oh really Fairyland?) and that 80% of their FPs are like that. They asked for me to put on the magnets and when I told them that it could not fit they said to push it down as hard as I can. They don't seem to get that the hole is really too small and that IF I could push it down I would not have even bother to ask them for help. I asked for a manuel for help but they don't have one. Overall, the people here at DOA are MUCH MUCH more helpful then the FL people. -.-

      DETAILS: The MNF Miyu is a L-bust, and has the, apparently common, defect of refusing to lock at the upper back torso joint. The upper piece essentially bobbles around on its own and is clearly mis-made. A small or cutie bust MNF easily latches in the back, allowing the doll to have a straight posture when sitting or slightly slouched when standing. I outlined the issue to FL and sent them pictures. They told me to return the doll for inspection, and I did so at my own cost. They have since gone from saying that the problem is merely stringing (the first thing I checked), to ignoring the actual issue, to suddenly claiming that they don't understand what issue I'm talking about at all. The story has changed multiple times throughout the resolution process until I finally insisted on speaking to another English rep. Since I began speaking to him, we've quickly begun approaching a resolution.

      Fairyland is apparently making the L bust MNF without the ability to latch in the back. I find the construction shoddy, and have let them know that it would probably be best to advertise the fact that this doll's mechanism's do not perform as usually expected of a MNF. I have been offered a refund, and we are in the process of negotiations ( I wish to keep the Karsh, and Miyu head) for a refund on the body alone. I am currently satisfied with our progress and will update here when we have finished the transaction completely.

      UPDATE 01-31-11: Fairyland is now trying to make me pay the paypal fees because they decided that it would be a good idea to send the refund as a payment and not accept the fees. I've attempted to resolve this in an expedient manner, but now I'm calling Paypal daily to keep them abrest of the issue. If Fairyland persists in insisting that I should pay the fees, they will endanger their standing as a merchant with Paypal.

      It's so easy using paypal. And they confirm the payment so fast too :)

      It would late 40 working days, but they ship my order a week early. I'm very glad with this.

      I think that all of the Doll companies have hight prices, but I need to say that I thing Fairyland Dolls deserve it, because the communication, service and the product is so fantastic.

      It is really better than the photos. It's most beautifull than the photos in the "A la carte" secction.

      I asked to them about when I would recieve my order, because I calculated it would be on the second week of January. So, they remember to me that I don't use the Christmas Hollydays on the calculate, and my order would be some late than the time I said.

      But finally, they say to me that they tried to ship my order on my time. And they did it :) I'm very glad because they worked so fast even though I was wrong on my calculate.

      And all of the items arrived fantastic and perfect. And when my package was retain on Spain Customs, they bring me their help on all I need with nicely and quickly.

      I'm very Glad with the workers, with the items, and all. I'll buy in this company again, it's sure.

      Oh yes. These are the highest-quality doll clothes I've ever seen in my life. The fabric has just the right thickness to drape exactly like human clothes. The clothes are snug without limiting the range of movement at all. Somebody obviously put a lot of thought into this. Worth every penny.

      Communication was great, I told fairyland a month early that I might not be able to pick up my package when it ships, and when my order is completed, they sent me an email of the asking for comfirmation whether they could ship my package or not.

      I also ask whether they could ship my package early for my birthday. A while later, they sent me an email that my package was ready to ship.

      Yes it was. (Paypal)

      It took 39 working days from the date of payment (20-12-2010) and but they shipped on 22-02-2011 because they needed my confirmation first.

      * How was the communication? I never received any interpersonal communication from Fairyland, and I asked several questions.. it was all automated.
      * How easy was it to pay? Extremely difficult. I tried to pay the day I ordered her, but because of the pay system they use, my bank put a hold on my credit card because it was such a large overseas transaction. After several attempts to get it to authorize, two days later (after I had made sure it didn't show up on my statement) I finally had to call my bank up and ask them to let the transaction go through. Thought to myself "Fairyland needs paypal!" Reading through this thread though, I guess they did... oops, I'll know for next time.
      * How long did it take to ship? I waited almost 90 days from the time that I ordered my doll, she shipped on March 10, and arrived on March 14

The doll itself is gorgeous, definitely worth the $600 some dollars, I LOVE the new mechanics of the Feeple 65.. can't say for the fullset outfit, however, because it did not make it here with my order. Still waiting for fairyland to fix this problem.

As stated before, I did not receive the fullset outfit that I paid for... contacted Fairyland before they opened yesterday and have not yet received an email back from them. Not happy with their customer service overall right now.
      EDIT: They did not get back to me until the 16th, whence they said they would send my outfit out "immediately"- they did not send it out until the 19th, and it did not actually arrive until the following Friday, the 25th. They were polite in their communication, and I do understand they have been outrageously busy with their orders from the winter event, but they really need to pay more attention to things like this, IMO. The whole ordeal has left me very bitter towards FL and has made me think twice about buying directly from them again.
