Fairyland Fantasy Art Line (Part 1)

I got my pink Rus yesterday morning. I love her, she's really cute, and posing like on the company photos and video. First photos here: Songe des Marionettes - Photos | Facebook

 

KuranYuuki, those photos have me squeeing in anticipation of getting my Rus! I especially liked the "scratching myself" pose! hehe

 

That was a funny pose But also hard to do, because her legs don't really want to move sideward (I think, it's because of the joint between the two legs)

 

Oh wow, the posing is just incredible!

@KuranYuuki, I love your posing pics! The scratching one is awesome, I'll have to try to get mine to do that too.

@Shirelae your violet Rus is a lovely color and I love the little photostory with the pukifees!

Rus is actually my first Fairyland doll. I really like how they made Rus absolutely adorable and amazingly posable at the same time. It makes for a very fun dolly experience. I've never been so experimental with any of my other dolls' posing.

Thank you @taixonay . Cookie is adorable. I love the agro tan. Fairyland makes lovely dolls, but Rus is something unique all together. So many poses.

@Kirahfaye yes, I like to involve my dog in pictures. Bonus cuteness. He is pretty well behaved around dolls, so it's safe.

 

@Shirelae these eyes are really beautiful, but scary! Every time, when I eat something, I feel that she's staring me, and thinks "that's why your diet doesn't work!" When I tried normal eyes for some houres, this feeling disappeared x'D

 

Now it seems that Fairyland has already shipped violet, pink and agra tan Rus - I hope they'll make white ones next so that I can get mine. (It may take longer as I have other dolls in my order...)

All the owner pictures are amazing. I never imagined such incredible poseability.

 

My white Rus has been at DDE for about a week now. I paid off the remainder of my layaway some days ago, but didn't get a shipping notice or anything from DDE. Is this normal? Should I just expect my Rus to show up randomly? XD

 

All these Hippogriffs arriving makes me super excited for mine to arrive! I ordered mine in Violet so hopefully he'll be arriving at DDE soon! XD

 

I ordered my Rus in Agra tan, but all these violet and pink one's are making wish I'd gotten one of those instead!

 

Oh my gosh all these pictures of the Hippogriffs. I'm literally so excited for mine. I ordered mine with a FS Haru so it'll be a while!
The violet resin looks gorgeous!

 

Wah - as I feared, seeing these owner pics is making me really regret not ordering. I just couldn't justify spending the money at the time, but now I'm wishing I'd scraped some funds together somehow. They're so amazing.

 

LOL, diet buddy Mine are upstairs, so they can't judge me when I'm eating. I'd probably put on the sleeping FP on then. Can't see me with your eyes closed. :p

@Boussole : agra tan is awesome too. Plus most hippogriff pictures involve brown colors, which helps with looking for reference pictures for a paint job. If the feeling persists, you might be able to trade with someone who feels the same, but has a different color.

@NoDivision : I know the feel! I've had the same with other dolls. Hopefully one will pop up on the secondhand market for a reasonable price, so you can still snatch one up.

 

I ordered an Agra Tan and have yet to get a shipping notice so I don't think they have processed all of them, but I have a couple more months on layaway so I don't mind being patient.

Those eyes are really beautiful! I'm glad I ordered the upgrade, too. But I ordered blue eyes because my Rus will be white.

 

I can't say what's normal because this was my first time ordering through DDE, but I paid mine off on a weekend and received a shipping notification on Monday. If there's no notification email in your inbox or spam (sometimes Gmail and Yahoo slip up big time), try contacting them.

XD if only she was bashful, haha! She actually got that name because when I woke up from a nap and looked at her, I suddenly really wanted cookies and chocolate. Agra tan really is a beautiful color in person.

 

It's so great to see real photos of the colors. The pink and lavender seem softer than what I thought.

 

I think I'll still really love the tan, but I didn't realize how much I'd like those fantasy colors! I saw the violet and pink on the website and felt very meh about them, but all these owner's pics are making them seem like lots of fun!

Thanks, but I have already seen the beautiful blue color in your pictures and I can see the eyes close up as soon as my Rus arrives.

 

Sooooo the email I had been waiting for FINALLY ARRIVED! My full set violet Hippogriff arrived at DDE today. I paid off the rest of my layaway and I've just gotten my tracking number! I'm sooo happy!!

So, what's everyone's plans for their Rus?

Cookie's going to have a natural look, so I'm using dark grey, black, white, and brown. Hopefully she'll look cute and fierce at the same time. Only her talons and hooves are done so far, though. I'm trying to take my time. XD

 

I ordered Rus in bw and I got a shipping email! I ordered him straight from the company.

My fullset Rus arrived today! I got him in Beautiful White with the blue eye upgrade. I only played around with him a bit but already achieved some amazing poses.

@taixonay Rony (ehm... her original name is Vivia, but Nova (Haru) and she was saved by a demon, called Darius, and they are his messenger now, and he said, "The griff looks like a big macaron on legs, so I'll call her Macaron." Or sometimes just Rony...) will be mostly pink and purple with a little blue on the wings in feathers

 

I only had the Hippogriff and some minifee hands, which probably explains it

Arg .... My Rus will be on layaway with DDE for a couple more months, but hearing about (and seeing) all of these adorable little guys flying home so soon is wearing away at my patience! I'd at least like to know he's stateside! LOL!

My Rus is waiting at DDE for my Violet Haru to come in DX lol I ordered my Rus in white I figured it's easier to blush and play around with.

 

Next month will be my last payment for my fullset Hippogriff and June. Hopefully DDE will get them in by then

I'm loving seeing all the arrivals in the different colors. My griff is in the arga tan

My Haru and Rus shipped today from Denver doll! I'm so excited to have them home.

 

Hey guys! Have you figured out which eye size they can take? I'd love to try some 12mm makos in mine.

 

My Rus is wearing 14mm glass. The manual also suggests 14mm, but I don't see why 12mm wouldn't work just as well. Just make sure the eyes are flat backs.
