FairyLand Fairy Line Mini discussion part 2

Oct 22, 2015

    1. I found the below on the Fairyland CSCenter Board:

Date that it was posted: 2015-10-13
Sia basic comes with flat feet whilst full package and full option package comes with heeled feet.

More detailed information about Sia body specification will be available separately once our sculpting team gets back to me with answers.

If you don't see anything happening in next 2 ~ 3 business days, please contact us again for an update.

      Thank you.
      Kind Regards,

      FairyLand

    2. Awesome thank you ^_^

    3. Im happy that i have
A pair of flat feet lying around somewhere

Sorry for my previous post. Don't you just love autocorrect?

    4. I forget who asked but I know the full option comes with both sets of feet.

    5. The post two posts above mine is very clear. Flat for basic, heels for full and option.

    6. It is interesting - Fairyland did not answer about if Sai will come with magnetic feet or the classic resin hook pair.

Did anyone get a response about if Fairyline will come with magnetic feet?

I want to assume yes because the magnetic feet would make more sense for this dynamic body part swapping design.

I did see that Fairyland said Sia will come with #3 magnetic hands.

    7. I know that, but someone said and I also asked Fairyland and DDE and the full option package, which is what I got came with both. I'm just repeating what I was told...

I did ask about this as well and yes they are magnetic not strung.

    8. I guess Fairyland got more info on what was included in the fullpack and full option pack after the CSboard post I found.

That is fantastic news that the full option packs will receive both sets of feet. Wow, even though the price is high - we are getting a lot of fun pieces to play with...4 chest pieces, two pairs of feet, and my favorite (the real icing on all of this) is the jointed seahorse tail.

Thank you so much Sammyjo421 and cyberspacegirl for the Fairyline info. You both made my morning! :)

I would say I'm as happy as a kid opening their gifts on Christmas morning! :goldstar

    9. No Worries :) I'm trying to find the email in case I'm going crazy haha.

    10. I'm either painting her lashes or getting her new ones, I love her face but I hate white lashes...

    11. It really depends for me haha, I have to see her in person to judge that truly

    12. i love white lashes! especially when theyre double layered with some darker ones. but i think they look nicely defined against the usual dark eyeliner/makeup

    13. Sorry for coming our of the lurk but I contacted Fairyland today and they told me the Sia full option package only comes with magnetic high heel feet and no regular flat feet. What a bummer... I had ordered a pair of magnetic high heel feet separately for her too. Now I'll have two sets of high heel feet.

    14. @essiekl, have you asked them about the possibility of changing that? There was definitely a lot of confusion over the whole release event, so they may be able to do so for you, if you ask. (And the worst that can happen is they say no, and you're back where you are now.)

    15. Your r
your right I looked at my email XD I misread it sadly.

    16. DDE told me my basic would come with magnetic heel feet, so I didn't order any. I'm glad they gave me correct info! I'll just have to get som mag-on flat feet when she gets here. :)

    17. Oh well about the two sets of feet. I'm just happy Sia will come with a pair of feet and the best part is they are magnetic (fun to play with). I just picture my boyfriend walking into the kitchen for a beer and finding tiny magnetic feet on the fridge.

On a different topic - Exciting news! There are more Fairyline Sia Full Option Packs available on Fairyland's site! :)

I noticed the full option pack became available again last night and I wondered if it was a glitch. Happy to hear that it is not. It's going to be fun to see how fast it will take to sell out again.

Fairyland also posted on their news & notice board that any unpaid Sia orders will be canceled on October 30.

I love it that there is more opportunity for people to get Sia.:daisy

    18. I knew her full set had heels but it didn't occur to me that she would come with heel feet...oops xD
I'm gonna have to pick up some flat feet for my normal skin girl and heel feet for my tan girl since I think my tan one will be getting the full set outfit. I'll wait till they get here though:XD:
Hopefully DDE will have some feetsies in stock at that time

    19. Sorry for anyone I got they're hopes up! I seriously thought is said it came with both lol.

    20. I think I'll just ask DDE to add flat feet to my order. Since I'm on a 6 installment layaway it won't delay my order.

I know I'll get a pair of heel shoes but they'll be the only pair I have. I need flat feet.

      Dustbunnie

    21. Awe, I wouldn't worry about it because it wasn't clear on the Fairyland site what is included in the Seahorse full pack and it sounds like it confused a lot of people. You are very kind to share your information with us. :daisy

By the way, I really appreciate all of the information that everyone posts here because it really saves me from emailing Fairyland. The less that I need to contact them the better because I don't want to bother them when they are so busy fulfilling orders and releasing beauties.

Good idea Dustbunnie on adding a pair of flat feet to your order now because this way all of the resin should match beautifully and it sounds like you have some amazing flat shoes.

    22. Omg... so the description of basic human Sia said she came with heel feet, and DDE confirmed this so I ordered extra flat feet. But does basic human Sia actually come with flat feet only??

    23. Yes.

    24. There's some more full options available from unpaid cancellations~

but hmm, yeah it won't be hard to add some flat feet to my order with DDE, not sure ill even need them though xD

    25. New thread, I got lost! :XD:
It didn't even occur to me that I could just add feet to my current order lol.

    26. Hello to the new thread!

This discussion of feet is making my mind a bit bubbly. *_* So as I understand, Sia human basic comes with only flat feet, and the fullset options come with only heel feet? That seems a bit odd imo, but I suppose Fairyland does as Fairyland will, and the fullset options do come with heeled shoes...

    27. I ordered the Human Basic and when I asked about adding heel feet (specifically, whether they were mag-on or hook) DDE told me she comes with heel feet. They were kinda swamped sending a ton of invoices that day, but that's what they said. I bet they'll order a ton of feet for their stock because of all of our confusion. :) I'm not worried about it until she comes in. If I have to order flat feet, I will. If I have to order heel feet, I will. She can be bare-foot for a bit. :)

    28. Just realised the flat feet i have are male moe feet.

    29. Lol I'm good with whatever feet they give me. Almost all my msd dolls are barefoot. I've only bought one pair of shoes for all the Minifees I have!

    30. Yay for just seahorse parts! Later if they offer another doll similar for interchangeable parts, I might see if a friend wants to do a split. Or throw my Sia head on a moe-line body.

I have both flats and heels for my dolls. My dearmine girls came with heel-feet, while my moe-line girl has flat.

    31. I keep wondering what the boxes for Sia/the Fline are going to look like xD
Especially since there's so much variation on what exactly one could be getting.

    32. @penguinspalace thats a good point!! omg i never thought about that! chances are it will just be a different box color and pretty similar to mnf box otherwise but thats still kind of exciting XD i wonder if they will use the concept illustration of sia for the box cover portrait..

    33. Quite likely that it will be the regular box with an extra brown cardboard box with the parts just like with the recent feeple and realfee releases.

    34. I was thinking that it's probably be just a regular minifee box, but then it occurred to me that for people who just got her as a seahorse she might not fit/might not fit well into a regular box. The realfess were basically the same shape as other dolls so putting them in a regular box wasn't that big of a deal
I doubt they'll do a portrait on the box though since they've stopped doing it with minifies D:

    35. I'd guess that, for those who got her as just the seahorse, they might ship her with only her human parts in the box (what a creepy unboxing that would be), or with a special cut-out for the foam that allows the seahorse tail to be placed in place of legs. Either way, I'll be curious to see what they do.

    36. Apparently people have started receiving their basic Mari's. Thought I'd pop in here to see if any basic Sia's have shipped yet. Mine will be awhile as I ordered through DDE on 6 month layaway. I can't wait to see these girls and how people who got blank ones do with them.

    37. I can see them talking about that in the realfee thread but no one has updated the wiki list or waiting room about it yet lol...
I ordered direct from FL for Sia, but no change in status yet. Sia has way more complicated parts so I would think it would take longer for her. I wasn't expecting anything before Christmas and it would be a pleasant surprise if it happens before then.

      • x 1
    38. I guess i'll have to buy flat feet... but the shipping...

      • x 1
    39. Here's hoping some ship soon, but I know mine will be a while if only because of the two LTFs I ordered at the same time (one in tan). Looking at the waiting room, FL's not running as far behind as they have in the past, so I'll keep hoping that I'll get my own order in the three months I'm estimating. (And maybe find or make a temp wig for Arioch to wear until I can do my next large wig order.)

    40. Already shipping out Maris?!? That's crazy!

Though I'm wondering if they're trying to get Mari to her owners before the event ends since she didn't sell as well as Sia. Dolls almost always seem to look better in their owners pictures than stock photos (and with custom faceups!) Maybe hoping to sell a few more before the event ends? I'm hoping I'm not too smitten with her once I see some owners pictures as my Sias might need a little friend.

I hope my Sias aren't ready too soon, there's no way I could pay off my 6 month layaway this early. I'm still expecting a few months more on my girls, since they're both with faceups :whee: I also threw in a littlefee with faceup so that'll take a bit longer. And I ordered through Denverdoll so that'll probably extend it a little more too :3

It's really exciting to think some people might be receiving their Sias fairly soon though! Wow!

    41. Order from DDE. They have NS in stock and shipping is minimal.

      DDE

      • x 2
    42. albeli that was just what I was planning to say. LOL

Since I'm on a 6 part layaway too I don't expect mine until March some time. I added flat feet to the order and DDE said it would delay it by 3 - 4 weeks. I really didn't care cause I expect it to be there before I pay off my layaway anyway.

      Dustbunnie

    43. In case it hasn't been noticed already: Sia's full option package is available again on the FL website;)

    44. I just paid my third invoice for my full option Sia I have one more I will be paying off on November 11th, the anticipation is killing me! I'm just glad I only have one more payment. Paying off four month layaway in 1 month feels good haha, but I get paid every two weeks so I knew I wouldn't need that long. I hope the rest of you get to pay her off soon :) I mean this genuinely too! I hope everyone gets to see they're Sia's soon. She's my last doll for a while as there is a situation going on lol, but I'm glad she could be it.

      • x 1
    45. Yay! Congrats on paying her off! :)I'm a part time freelance artist and full time student so I definitely needed my extended layaway (some months are muuuuuch slower than others money flow wise ^^; ) but I'm soo thrilled to be able to bring my girls home (Thank you Denver Doll!) I'm hoping to pay them off sooooon, as long as my hands don't fall off from over working :whee:

I wonder when they'll start shipping her out! :3 Can't wait to see everyone's!

    46. Me too, they already started shipping basic Mari's, the Sia's really can't be that far behind.

    47. Does anyone else keep looking at her pics? I'm super excited. I think the wait will make her so worth it.

      • x 1
    48. I've definitely done that a bit. And I keep looking at my order page, too. Even if the status isn't changed, just seeing the order for her (and the two LTFs I've been waiting to order all year!) sitting there is pretty exciting!

    49. Hi, has anyone gotten their fullset Sia yet? There's an Ebay auction for one for an astronomical price and I didn't think any had shipped out yet.

    50. I haven't gotten mine yet.

    51. In the ebay item description the seller have wrote "This is a pre-order and is brand new. It has not been shipped out yet but will be at the end of December 2015 to early January 2016"

So the seller havent got the doll yet.

    52. Honestly....this seems kinda silly right now seeing as there are still Sia's Left. This also makes me sad that this person bought a beautiful piece of hand made work, just to sell it..I really hate when people do that.

      • x 1
    53. Ah, either I missed that bit or the seller added it afterwards. I don't think Ebay allows people to auction something they don't have possession of, though. I certainly would never consider handing over any money, especially that amount without the item being in the seller's hand.

    54. You are allowed to if you are able to guarantee that you will have the item ready to be shipped within 30 days.

If you can do that, you are allowed to pre-sale on ebay.

    55. Yeah, things like that make me really angry. Also, I don't think Fairyland will approve of this...it might actually be a good idea to report this to them. I mean, it's one thing to get the doll and then realize you don't like it after all, but to sell it before you even own it...

      • x 1
    56. Oh gosh! I was just RANTING about that ebay listing to my boyfriend.
It's completely ridiculous, and I hope no one falls for it, especially since she's she available.

      • x 1
    57. It's not strange to pre-sale dolls at all.
No one knows if something major came up in that person's life, or they really felt buyers remorse and it's too late to cancel the order, or just decided they just really don't like her anymore after all the hype died down.

There could be any number of reason's they decided to not keep her.

definitely happens in the lati world a lot.

(Only thing is that crazy price hike. Granted they probably have ebay and ppfees factored into the sale as well which is understandable trying to get the exact price they paid to fairyland since they are having the doll shipped straight to the buyer)

but i doubt they will be able to guarantee a shipment within the 30 day limit, if so, ebay will take care of that.

    58. For the price they're asking (last time I checked anyway) even with fees they'd still be making a $1200+ profit. There's also the possibility that they haven't even ordered her yet and will order her when they have a buyer. For them, it'd be risk free that way.
If she were still sold out, I honestly wouldn't even care :F
People are free to buy and sell what they want, at whatever price they want, but I don't have to be happy about it:XD:

Editing my post because I didn't want to double post, but my layaway for my two human Sias is now officially 1/2 paid off. Yay! :3 Still technically 3 payments left, but I'm definitely going to try to pay em off early. SO happy to be at the half way point though.

    59. Congrats on getting your layaway half paid, @penguinspalace! I hope you do get your Sias paid off early, I can just imagine the excitement!

Unfortunately I've had some very serious issues pop up in my life, and I just emailed DDE asking if I can remove a few things from my order - most upsettingly, my tan human RLF Mari. :( I'll still have Sia coming home to me, and I can always order a Mari in the future since she's not a limited sculpt, but I'm still a little heartbroken.

Does anyone here have experience with needing to remove items from a DDE order? I'm very worried it won't be possible... and having to cancel my order altogether, thus losing what I've already paid and having to pay a cancellation fee, isn't really an option for me right now. I doubt I'll get a response until maybe Tuesday, so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed while I wait!

    60. I've had to remove things from a DDE layaway before. Unfortunately, you lose the first payment made toward the doll. You can still keep the Sia on layaway, but won't "get back" money put down for the Mari.
