Does Fairyland sell their F60 girls with any optional bust choices? Or have they in the past? As far as I can tell it doesn't seem like it, but I find it odd considering their Minifees have at least 4 different busts to choose from.
As far as I can remember, no. Neither the original F60 body or the moe F60 have been offered with a bust option. Minifees are their most popular dolls and have a lot more options than the other sizes.
The original body did come in small bust or large, but the sizes were pretty similar looking, and now it’s just the Moe body. (Which doesn’t move as well at all.) For some reason FL really limits the options on F60s. I think they’re so expensive when they start getting fancy with them that they don’t sell as well, so the focus is on smaller dolls. Also their heads have shrunk significantly over the years which is a turn off to a lot of 1/3 scale owners. I have older F60s but none of the new ones because they look weird together.
that's unfortunate! I really like the aesthetics of the F60 body but none of the characters I'd want to shell with it have a bust as big as the moe body, and I also just don't really like the way the bust is sculpted. I also heard about the head shrinking thing thing but it wouldn't be a huge issue to me since I'd been planning on using a different head anyway.
The only bust options for F60 is from their Fairyline60 event release of Scarlett and Ria. They came with medium and limited glamour bust piece. Otherwise, you will need to mod for larger bust.
The nice thing about the feeple60 chest piece is that it’s solid through—the chest isn’t at all hollow, so you could theoretically mod the chest smaller—I’ve done an f60 chest completely flat before without issues!
I was looking for smaller, actually a lot smaller Is this the type of mod that's usually included in what people with mod commissions are willing to do? I don't think I have the 3D crafts knowledge to do that kind of mod, since it seems sort of like sculpting the bust almost? (Not to mention I don't have safety gear for resin dust). I'd much rather find an artisan to do it for me, but I've never looked into mod comms so idk if it's something people usually are comfortable doing.
No idea what other people are doing for mods, but you could always check the marketplace under “customizing services” to see what’s available
