Customs fairyland~do they markdown packages or not???

Mine was marked down. Sometimes they don't. I think it depends on who packs it or you have to request specifically if you want full value or marked down.

In the space of a month I ordered two Littlefees from Fairyland - they both got caught in customs - and was charged roughly £28 each to have them released. I think they did mark them down but cant remember by how much sorry.

Better add this - they were basic Ante's not fullsets so the value wasnt quite so much.

 

Hi! I think marking it down to $10 or $20 is too much, and will probably raise suspicions.
And I was also wondering about the same thing because I want a MNF V.E. Woosoo so bad, but pretty much every country's Customs are probably the same. ^_^

I'm about to order 2 PukiFee's and I'm hoping to *GOD* I don't have to pay fee's on over $600.

Can someone confirm if they do or do not mark as a gift and lower the value of packages?

I asked them through Q&A and through my order comment, and they said they would do so. So I presume if you ask them through Q&A and give them a specific charge amount, they would do so.

 

That's exaclty what I've done
I really hope they remember to do it since I don't fancy paying $200 in customs charges lol

 

When I get mine MNFs from them they are marked down to $100 and my Fullset C-Line Lishe was marked for $150, so yes, they definitely do! And that wasn't from me asking them or anything that's just how awesome they are

 

I'm soo glad they do! I asked for my PukiFees to be marked as a gift and valued at $40, they actually agreed

 

I asked for them to mark the value down and put it as a gift. My littlefee is currently going through customs in the UK so I'll let you know what happens when she eventually gets to me (and how much I end up paying!).

Thanks - still waiting for her to make it through customs! I'm hoping that there will be an extortion letter on my doorstep tomorrow.

I ordered a pukifee from Fairyland that arrived at the beginning of March this year. They had marked it down to $50 and had declared it as a gift, - so she sailed through customs without any fines (thankfully!). I hadn't asked them to mark the value down or declare it as a gift - I think they tend to just do it anyway.

 

I've just picked up my Littlefee. FL marked the value as $70 and there was £25.70 to pay (just VAT and parcelforce fees), which I thought wasn't bad. It still worked out cheaper and quicker than ordering from a European dealer, but is perhaps a bit more stressful!

 

They definitely do, when I ordered my MNF, they marked it down to 200. I don't remember if they marked it as gift or not, though. XD

 

They marked mine down when i ordered from them you just have to put it on th enot esection when you order and if you are worried nearer the time( as i was) i just sent a message confirming they would on their message board
