Fairyland Cheshire PongPong Arrives!

    1. I got lucky and picked up a PongPong Cheshire from a group order! I am so excited that he finally arrived today. I must say, I was totally not expecting him to be so big! Hahaha. I thought he'd be more of a tiny-delf size. And I know the measurements are up on the site, I just didn't check them because I was too enamored with his whole look. But I totally don't mind! He's a great poser, and he's just downright adorable.

      I'm a little disappointed, because I waited so long and hyped him up so much in my head and he came with some errors. Both of his face plates have a gap between them and the head. And the sleeping face just won't click on and stay :( And I have these three magnets that I think are supposed to go into his face plates, but they don't fit. Lastly, his wig is totally not styled like in the Fairyland listing. Does anybody know how to style a wig?

    4. The Pongpong sculpt is my favorite one from Fairyland just for that smile! I love dolls with expressions. So when I saw they had a Pongpong who was also Cheshire (one of my fave characters) I just had to have him!

    5. He's such a little cutiepie. I had to look him up since the Chesire Pong Pong looks a little different from the usual (the closed mouth smile, I love it, such a mischievous smirk)

      I have dolls with short wigs like his, the best way to style them is to get an UNUSED toothbrush and just fiddle with it. The wigs can change a little but it's mostly from shipping that causes them to lose their shape a little.

    6. Wow!! His outfit is pretty incredible!! And his naughty face as well, how cute~
      About the gaps between the face plates, it's really unfortunate :C but if it is able to stick together tightly enough and not fall off, it shouldn't pose much of a problem once the wig covers it? I sure hope you'll find solutions for those errors!!

      But otherwise, I hope you'll enjoy your new doll!

    7. gorgeous new doll ^^ he's so adorable, i love his eye shape. shame about the face plate things, but hopefully you'll get new magnets in a smaller size.

      like someone suggested before, use a toothbrush. i have soft bristle baby toothbrushes that i use to brush and style my dolls' wigs ^^ hope this helps.
