Aesthetics Face Up

I think eyebrows are the important part of makeup (no matter human or doll). These eyebrows are realistic, good work.

 

Would love to see a couple more pics to get a better idea of what your work looks like!

 

I think it's a bit too speckly and yellow - it appears more like dirt and grime than skin texture. I do like the freckles, but I think the yellow and orange splatter tones detract from them. I would try building up with a slightly pinker tone instead and blend the edges well to add the look of blood under skin, then go back in with a slightly ashy brown color for any contour (eyelids, cheeks, around the nose, etc). As others have said, the eyebrow texture is really nice! I would choose a less orange color for the lips - peoples' lips usually don't match their hair unless they're wearing lipstick - and either tidy up the edges a bit of soften them out evenly.

Of course I'm not sure what your vision for the doll was, so take all of this with a grain of salt ^^ The important thing is that the faceup gives character, and you have that already!

 

I think overall this is such a beautiful faceup! i think the eyebrows turned out amazing. love how precise you worked on them.

i also agree with arteria that the yellow and orange splatter tones are a bit too dominant. i´d experiment a bit with less yellow/orange-based colors next time. but other than that, it turned out so good!
