Modification Face mods on Resinsoul Wei (lil half-orc)

Might as well share my work in progress here! I got Resinsoul to create me a custom Wei with a custom green resin, elf ears and tusks, which they did beautifully on! However, I knew I wanted to adjust the face even more to suit my needs for the character I'm shelling. I also got my Doll Zone body in that'll be dyed soon to match, so here's how she was before the modding started!



With all the pieces essentially in place, I revisited the plans I made for her mods (and eventual face-up):

I knew it was gonna involve removing her existing nose, which made me pretty nervous, but I was determined to give it a shot!

So, here's the unaltered head:

And after sanding off the nose, my first pass with epoxy sculpt:


After letting it harden, I started sanding and smoothing, focused on reducing the nose a fair bit:

With the slightly longer jaw, I tested to see if it changed the appearance of the very long neck:

Kind better! I still might reduce the neck, we'll see.
Anyway, here's where I more or less am now:


What do you guys think? I know the nose is still larger than my mock-up but I'm sort of warming to its size considering it's more in line with my actual character design. At the moment I keep struggling with making each side as symmetrical as possible!! Gah!!

 

UPDATE: BODY DYED AND FACE UP COMPLETED
I commissioned the wonderful Trilliumbox to dye match the Doll Zone body, and commissioned Shrike Aesthetics to do her face up, and here she is put together (with a temporary wig!)





Next to blush the body to marry the body and head better, and wait on her custom wig. Thanks for reading!!!
