Hello everyone! I hesitated before creating this thread. I've aready plenty of unfinished project journals, and this doll's customisaton was begun in 2016... but well, here we go! The doll is an Elfdoll Yuan in homme skin, and she has been modded in a zombie girl by her previous owner. She had a bullet hole in the forehead, some ribs exposed, a femur carved too, and a hole in the center of the chest. She also had the teethpart carved in spiky teeth. Sadly I haven't taken pictures of her previous look, aside this picture (she is the one in the middle on top picture, and the third from left below): Mods Done: filling all the holes (done in 2016) carved the teethpart back in normal teeth (done in 2016) Aesthetics To Do: faceup (done in 2016) tattoo on top of the chest hole (done in 2016) tattoo on the left thigh (done in july 2021) tattoo or scar blush on the ribs (done in August 2021) manicure (2 hands done in 2016, one in August 2021) maybe one more tat on right arm? Crafting To Do: wig (done in 2016) tank top (done in june 2021) holey tights Back in 2016, I've filled all the carved area, and made her faceup, wig and chest (and arm and back) tattoo. Here is a picture of her stage in 2016: But I used a yellowed epoxy past and the not painted area weren't really nice looking. I let her that way (with leg and ribs in yellow on a tan skin doll ^^') for 5 years. But I subitely wanted to make a tattoo on her leg, and here are the WIP pictures! Before painting: During : And nearly finished: Now I need to decide what to do on the ribs. I initially thought about making a scarified area, like I was planning to do on the thigh (that's why the epoxy surface wasn't smooth). But I wonder if an other tattoo is a better idea. Thank you for looking!
Nice! Maybe do as you did here: a scar disguised with a tat. Perhaps she was in a bad accident and was left badly scarred. Rather than undergo painful and expensive plastic surgery, she covers them with tats. In an alt universe, she died and became a zombie!
Thank you very much! That's an idea, but the hole in the ribs is not very well placed. It goes slightly under the chest part, and that bothers me. Hahaha yeah, in an other universe she is a zombie for sure! Thanks a lot! Thank you very much! Here a pic (sorry, nudity) where we can see the ribs moddified area. Ad I said to @Vindalootoo , it goes a little under the chest, and for a tattoo it bothers me. But maybe if if mix scars and tattoo, I can manage something?
I decided to tattoo her ribs too. But the area was very rough, it was a little hard to paint on it! And I'm quite unhappy with the result, but maybe I'll like it better tomorrow. The design is inspired by a Toxyc xlr's tattoo. Thank you for looking!
One year later, I realized I didn't took pictures of my girl once put together again! While taking those pictures, I was wondering if I shoudn't add some tattoos on forearms and right arm. What do you think?
Unbelievable, how you brought a Zombie back to life. A proud survivor, with breathtaking tattoo art. I think she does look like the kind of girl who would go on adding new tats to her collection as she goes through life. Amazing work, thank you for sharing!
Thank you @Mandagore ! Yeah that's true, it would be logical that she continues to get tattoos. You're welcome, I like to share my dolls!
