Event Cancelled Doll Prom 2019 Masquerade

Jan 7, 2019

    1. Update:

Some sad news: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Doll Prom 2019 is being cancelled. We’re hopeful that we can reschedule for next year, or maybe even later this fall. It’s been super fun planning this event and we’re crushed to have to call it quits so close to the event date. Those of you who have already paid for your tickets will be receiving a refund within the next week. We’re so very sorry, we know you were looking forward to it and we were, too. Let’s try again soon, shall we?

    2. I just want to add that we're having a contest on Instagram for "Prom-posal" photos. The person who sends us the best promposal photo(s) will win free admission to the event :D

      Our instagram account is @dollprom

    3. I bough tickets for me and my mother, looking forward to it!

Are kimonos considered fancy enough dress for it?

    4. Fabulous! If you can be sure to send both your names to [email protected] so we can make sure they are put on the list correctly that would be great.

    5. Doll Prom is 2 1/2 months away don't forget to purchase your tickets. Admission will not be available at the door. The tickets sells will let us know how many people will be attending so we can prepare prizes, food and activities. For further information please visit our website: https://bjdprom.wixsite.com/dollprom2019

Also a friendly reminder when purchasing tickets please include names of each person that will be attending when submitting payment or email names to [email protected]

    6. We're so glad to have you on board :D

As far as the kimono question, yes that will be fine! We've just relaxed the doll dress code a bit since we've had so many questions about it.

Black tie is still preferred, and may get you a better chance of winning Prom Queen/King for your doll, but we're also allowing lolita, kimono, hanbok, and qipao/cheongsam and other Asian formalwear. We don't want anyone to feel pressured to buy a whole new outfit just to come have fun with us.

    7. Updates:

37 days left to purchase tickets! Be sure to get your tickets for this fabulous event. Remember tickets need to be purchased by April 19th there will not be at the door sales at this time as we need to calculate how many people will be attending to arrange food and activities.
Want to win a free ticket? See post #2 above to view information on our prom-posal contest.

Hope to see you all there!

    8. Only 25 days left until Doll Prom! Who's excited! Don't forget tickets sales end April 19th so be sure to get yours today.

Do you know what dolls your bringing? Why not post and introduce them here. I know I'll be bringing Kitiblu (see my avatar photo) and 3 other of my Resinsoul dolls. Going to be working on their formal attire this weekend.

We'll be crowning a King and Queen for all 3 size groups SD, MSD and YoSD so get those dolls dressed up and come have some fun!
