Eve Shyly Says Hi

A little belated, but here we go, the box opening for my adorable little Eve.

Eve is an Iplehouse BID Elin, with fantasy head, Fantasy style make up A and white skin.

Eve is the first of my BJD to be a completely original character well before being a doll. All of my others have thus far been bought then became characters as I just couldn't envision them as another character. Eve is in fact a boy, however he is a little cross dresser due to his unusual upbringing He has been raised by his eight older siblings, all female, who dote on him but also kind of treat him like their own personal living doll to dress up. Eve and his family are a rare breed of cat people that live amongst humans. This is his child version, someday I hope to create his adult version once I find the right sculpt

I intend to modify his ears with fur and add a tail, maybe paint his spots (his species have similar characteristics to a leopard) but I think the hardest thing right now is finding the right eyes -_-

Now the BID comes with an adorable baby blue and white box. Much nicer than the yellow for the KIDs. As the box is obviously far too small, the accompanying manual comes separately. The image on the front of the manual is so cute. Wish they still did these sweet little outfits.

Eve was bought in DC during Lawrence's sale period. At the time I had only wanted the Venisio set which will eventually be made available as a basic outfit and his weapons. At the last second, as is usually the case with me, I asked them to add the Navy Uniform to the order.


As you can see it is very neatly packaged and very well put together, however I couldn't make mind up just yet whether to keep it as it did not match up with the character of my boys.





The weapons and spyglass are very well made but soooo delicate and fragile. They went straight back in the bubble wrap after this shot





Once dressed and in a wig (not his final look I've decided), Eve met with Lisa. I think I may have to keep an eye on the little devil as she looks like she'll tech the innocent little boy some naughtiness if I leave them together too long





For some reason Eve just wouldn't stand for this photo, so I had to be really quick with the camera, but anyway here is a full shot of Eve looking all coy.

Eve grew up being dressed up by his sisters in pretty frilly things and it eventually follows into adulthood, but that's a story for another time

He is so cute and perfect for the the character. I'm so glad I picked him. Those little fangs were essential as in my story they show his innocence as he is still too young to hide his feline side
