I finally took some nice photos of Eunjae's apartment and I thought I'd share for anyone who's interested in seeing more of it ^^ [ The whole room ] As you can see, she still desperately needs some things on her walls. I have plans for a calendar, posters, maybe a cork board, and I'd also like to get her a clock. She also needs about 200 more books, but I no longer have a color printer so I'll have to figure out a new way to make them. There is also a third wall to this diorama, however I'm not using it because with my current setup, it blocks too much light for photos. [ The back wall ] The built-in shelf was a heck ton of trouble, but it was in my opinion totally worth it. [ The bed ] Doesn't it look so comfy?? And lastly, some photos of Eunjae in her space... [ Cookies, coffee & dramas ] [ Snacking ] As you can see, Eunjae believes firmly in a healthy diet [ Bed ] "All anyone really wants, at the end of the day, is that moment when you get home after a long, exhausting day, and collapse into bed." ~ not a real quote, I just made it up [ Morning coffee ] This little room was made with countless hours of blood, sweat, and tears from me and my sister, sat mostly empty and unused for months, made it hundreds of miles wrapped in trash bags when I moved across the country, and is finally being used the way I dreamed. It feels amazing and I'm so incredibly happy and grateful that all the work that went into it was not in vain. Thanks so much for reading and I hope someone enjoyed seeing this room as much as I do PS. I will probably add to this gallery again later, but for now I think this is a big enough photo dump, lol. Spoiler: Click to see my inspiration :) The original inspiration for Eunjae's apartment design. Sorry about the crappy screenshot, but it was the best I could find xD
Wow, you've collected so many things! Eunjae is lucky to have such a cute and cozy apartment. Thank you for sharing!
I can relate to her snacking habits haha! The space looks very cozy, Eunjae's definitely living her best doll life.
Love this! I can’t wait for my first doll to arrive so that I can start building him a space. Your doll is so lucky to have such a lovely little place of her own.
What scale is the diorama? It's got so many wonderful little details, I love the pictures you've done in it. I get a very cozy "messy youngling" vibe from it!
Excellent diorama, truly goals! I'm so impressed with how real/lived in it looks. Really lovely work!
@goldiewing @Follow-the-Wind @Rabbit-moon @Letta @mmilena Thank you, thank you, thank you guys for all the lovely, kind words! It makes me so incredibly happy to hear others also appreciate the work that went into it and enjoy seeing the space as much as I do! Your comments really made my day @cobaltconduct Hehe Eunjae takes after me, so of course, plenty of snacking! So glad the space is giving off those cozy vibes I wanted!! @KaraWildsong Thank you so much! Wishing you good luck with your own diorama! @Errantry Thank you so much!! It did take quite a while! I did most of the props while my sister did the building part (she's much better at the technical details than I am, lol). Just now I measured it because I honestly had no idea haha, but the whole thing is 33 inches wide while the walls are about 20 inches tall. I hope that answers your question okay! @Kaito-len The room is MSD scale, and I made sure it was extra roomy for Souldoll kids. Thank you so much for the kind words! Honestly, the "messy youngling" idea encapsulates Eunjae PERFECTLY, I love it!! @dolleigh Ahhh I'm so happy to hear it looks lived in, that is exactly what I was hoping for! Thank you so much!
This is just great! I'm so happy all the time you put into it wasn't wasted! That's so true about wanting to collapse into bed! Wonderful work! Look forward to seeing more.
That looks so realistic! I love how the apartment looks. It looks so so similar to the inspiration photo.
Wow!!! This is really very amazing. And I am so glad I found this. I am looking to do something aesthetically similar, so it was so nice to see something complete. I am NOT good at picturing the finished look I want, so having something for inspiration is very helpful.
@susan67 Thank you so much!! I understand exactly what you mean about visualizing and I'm so happy to hear my diorama could be a source of inspiration! Wishing you luck on your future project @lutke Thank you so much
