Erm, Hi?

*feeling very self-conscious* Well, some of you may know me from Den of Angels, or maybe from Deviant Art, where I use the same name. I'm sort of a 'Jack of all trades'- I'm able to do a lot of things, but not really any one thing spectacularly. ^^''
I draw, write, sew, sculpt, paint miniatures, sing, design...

I love manga, anime, comics- anything with a good story. My likes are pretty eclectic, one day I'll be listening to new age, hard rock the next, techno after that, then pop, classical... I like fairies and elves as much as cyborgs and robots.

As far as doll sculpting goes, I've so far tried to do three dolls, with varying amounts of success (I find it hard to finish projects, sadly). My first was before I'd gotten my first BJD, made from Super Sculpy, and she's rather baby-ish in proportion. My brother calls her 'the gremlin'. I call her Pwivaran. After getting my first BJD, I saw all the places I'd gone wrong on her, and decided to give up.

Next was Lichen, a tiny BJD fairy or nature spirit. This time I did a much better job on her body, but found it next to impossible to sculpt a head for her.

Now I'm going to try to sculpt a scale version of "chibi Sechs" from Battle Angel Alita, Last Order, since I love the character. When I saw Sechs in the 'interactive interface' doll, I said: I want one!
It's been a while since I've sculpted anything, and I had to start using sculpy mixed with super sculpy since I'm running out of super sculpy (I'd love to get some sculpy firm, but money is tight at the moment). I have a basic scale diagram that I've drawn out, and have begun work on his head, but the mixture is rather soft, making it hard to sculpt with.

Anyways, I've rambled on long enough I'm sure.
