And my very first little Elfdoll tiny. What a little darling she is. She started a tiny tidal wave at my house. LOL

 

that's...a lot of Mins. Wow! All so different. I love them! And I thought I had a lot.

 

I know. I NEED help. I just LOVE Min though! I have even more that aren't pictured. I have to get them all together for a Min group shot. I have a Min addiction. But really that's not a bad thing right?

 

There are worse addictions for sure! At least Min's don't require a lot of space! And they are adorable!

 

OMG, love all of the tinies! I am new to Elfdoll and have a Min and Kai that I got second hand. I will have to post pictures soon. Where do you get your tiny wigs?

 

That's what I always tell my husband. She takes up no space at all. He argues that she multiplies though and that can be a problem. I think not. hehe

 

I got most of my wigs from Monique (when they had a size 3), Kemper, online wig sellers like Facets by Marcia and from a lady that makes them at a local doll show. She makes them for antique dolls but Min doesn't mind.

Oh yes please share your girls. I would love to see them. I am in tiny overdrive that last few days. Just can't get enough of the little cuties.

 

The handmade wig is lovely! Most of the commercial wigs have too much hair in my opinion!

 

Dez1015: Ho-lee crap!! Thank you for the tip about tiny wigs at "Facets" Their stock is sssoooooo much more stylish than Global or Kemper!

 

Dez- nothing wrong with a lot of Mins. We should really do a tinies meet in the summer when I'm there for Bristol Renaissance Faire. btw, what is the link to this 'facets' place? My Jin needs a new wig...none of the ones I have really do her justice.

I had fun today putting together these new Mi World playsets that I found at Toys R Us. They are different Mall type stores that connect together. What fun!! Min del re spent the day at the mall.

Those are very cool, I will have to go and check my local TRU out, especially for the DQ set! What is the price range on those?

There doesn't seem to be an Elfdoll Tinys thread started, but you could easily start one. Then you post, copy the link and paste into the discussion posts.

Hi Dez1015...I think I contributed to your addiction a few years ago....didn't I sell you a Min when you were first falling in love with them & searching for a first edition? I still have & love my original Min even though she hasn't gotten enough attention lately. I am in WI so if you ever do plan a mini meet up I would love to come too...if we ever thaw out here that is!!

 

Oh my, it is certainly possible. I can't keep track of where all my little cuties come from. My very first Min came from a lovely lady named Dena.
So tell me now does your original Min need a new home? Does she? Come on, you know she takes up too much room and eats too much. She might need to move over here and get lots and lots of love. You know I am always looking for more Mins to love. LOL
Seriously though if you ever think of rehoming her please think of me.

Yes, alas...I could not afford the price (which was in the thousands, yikes). Luckily, the salesperson felt sorry for her and let me take a picture of her in it (despite the fact that the shop had multiple "No Photographs" signs all over the place) so she could have a memento.

She did, however, get to bring this one home:

 

It's such a long time since I posted anything here although I regularly read the posts as I still love my little Elfdolls. I'm loving all the photos and really love those little shops....I wish our Toys R Us here in Spain had them, but I've never seen anything remotely this cute in there!

The salesperson must have thought she looked good in the speedboat! Maybe they thought you would keep looking at the picture and decide it was worth the price.

The horse is a very nice ride though!

Yikes, why did I look? I have a Min Del Rae on order now, LOL. I would have liked a Bong head too, but they're so much more - I put a note on the board asking if that was a mis-print.

 

Jin and Bong appear to be a full doll price. Jin can't even be added to your cart. I let them know about that.

 

I should not...but I keep thinking...I've still got my Dodo awake head with no body...should I get her one? or should I not and sell the head? But the bodies are such a good price...but I never really liked the Dodo awake head...and I just bought a doll, so my quota for the year is half up...and it's only Feb...what should I do?

 

Eeeep!!!! I am so excited!! I put Hiro on layaway (with a sleeping head, a sissy seedling which was also a long time wish list item and a wig which isn't what I wanted for her, but will do!)!! I had been so miserable that they stopped the tinies. I had wanted a Hiro for SO LONG but because he/she was always there, I figured I'd get around to ordering one, and put the limiteds that were coming out that i wanted first. I have been in serious sulk mode for the last while, and it took me a couple of days to realise what I had read and jump on to get one!! I am so excited. I was so tempted to get 2 and have sisters But that would be excessive....right???

Can anyone advise good clothes places for these cuties?

I'm so glad I spotted this update. I've just ordered Min - I've had an outfit for her for a year now but never managed to find a doll at the right time! I would love to get Hiro as well. Does anyone know if it takes a while for the email to come through so you can send payment?

EDIT: Well I placed my order yesterday and I've still not had an email from them but I have sent the money off and linked it to the order number. Does anyone know if their email is the same as that used for the paypal account? I'm slightly concerned that Min is now showing as sold out and I don't know whether I have one or not. I'm hoping so since it says you have up to 7 days to make the payment and she was in stock when I ordered.

 

Oh no, you got me worried too. I placed my order on the 14th and paid using the paygate and it still shows as waiting for payment. I better check on my payment too. I sure don't want to not get my Min either.

I've still not had an email confirmation Are the tinies in a similar position to the Lovely dolls, are they in stock already? I'm just wondering whether it will be a long wait or not.

 

Looks like they just now caught up on answering the Q&A. Probably better to leave any questions there smudge, as far as I know there's always a better chance of being answered in Q&A than direct emails.

 

Thanks Dancecat, unfortunately though I can't access my account as I can't remember my login details which means I can't access the Q&A. So I still don't know if my order has gone through even though I questioned it when I sent payment.,

 

I posted a note on Elfdoll and Oka wrote back:
Even though they're in stock, I believe it will take at least 2-3 weeks
because they needed to be final touches and if they wanted to be painted, might need
another few weeks.

Hi all! I've been lurking this post for quite some time now, but thanks to DanceCat posting about the Elfdoll sale, I am so happy to finally be able to get my first tiny Sylf!!! I just looked at my order status in my account on elfdoll's site and they show that they received my payment, so for those of you waiting for confirmation, I suggest looking in your Elfdoll order status page!

April San, unfortunately I ordered without logging in as I could not recall my user name. I've since remembered what it was but my order is not connected to my user name.

 

Smudge, oh noes!!! Well if anything I think we all ordered around the same time, give or take a few days. I'll be watching my status in about a week-two weeks to check and see if she's shipped, l'll assume everyone's orders are processed around the same time and keep us updated! As much as I wish Elfdoll would send a confirmation notice or something, I guess they just don't have the manpower to do that.

I saw on the Elfdoll website that the full sets of most tinies are not being sold anymore. I read the notice which still left me confused, will the Elfdoll tinies be discontinued???

 

I was under the impression that most lines were being discontinued and they would release new dolls - but I guess that could still mean new dolls in each size.

 

So I asked and Oka said that all current dolls will be discontinued and they will only sell limited edition dolls. Oka also said that there WILL in fact be tiny dolls!
These will be limited edition and "will be like 50 or 100 issues each doll". So I am guessing that they will sell either 50 or 100 of each limited edition doll? Does that seem right?
This limited edition business is putting me on the edge of my seat. Now I always have to have money in the piggy bank just in case!
I am really disappointed about the current tinies being discontinued though. I just can't afford the beautiful Adel and Lyn right now!

 

I am disappointed that they are discontinuing the current lines as well, as I would have loved to have collected just about all the current tinies!!! But I am also excited that they will be releasing new tinies!! Here's to hoping for a mature male tiny XD and that my wallet can keep up too! Thanks for the info, pinksunsets !!

 

Maybe some of the dolls will be rereleased as limited edition specials in the future. I think all the limited edition dolls make collectors push back the purchase of open edition dolls.

 

Do the tinies come with eyes or do I need to think about getting some? And if so, are they 6mm? Apologies for not searching through the thread.

 

they usually do come with eyes. And yes, 6mm is the size, unless it's Kai; here eyes are smaller 4mm iris on 6mm eyes I think. If you want good eyes for them otherwise, go to etsy and find dreamingtree studios. She makes wonderful 6mm eyes that are cheap (as in maybe $3 a pair for that size) and lovely.

Question: I have a faceless Min del re that has been hanging around here for ages and I would like to get a face-up for her. Can anyone recommend a good tiny repaint artist? I don't even know where to start. Thanks in advance for any help.

 

I ordered on 2/14 and still haven't heard anything yet. I am soooo impatient too. I hope they ship soon.

 

I know anthrogirl works small. She did a Pukipuki face-up for me and I've seen photos of a Realpuki she's done. If you like her style, I'd highly recommend her.
