This is my first BJD. A sort of kid brother to Loren (it WAS a girl, hence the ample bumcheeks, but I got a fit of the giggles and attached an itty bitty peen to the poor thing, so now its Eggbert, rather than Eggbertrude) I used prosculpt light, hence the clay got so dirty-the stuff is nice to look at but dammitt it attracts dirt like a magnet. I prefer mixed clays usually-but I wasnt sure wether this little guy would work or not, so used what was left of a pack. He is TINY. I might have to make him custom wigs or something, cause no way is anything going to fit THAT little bonce. Once I make it. Yes, folks, right now Eggbert is but an egg. But someday.... (with a Pound coin for scale reference. My hand's no good-its tiny. I have to wear childrens sized rings, so I wear none at all) Thats enough! Im going to my room!
itty bitty peen...[laughs uncontrollably] I must agree, Eggbert does have an incredible bum. Can't way to see more!
Let's hear it for Ample Bumcheeks! (Sounds like a potential name for a RP character, to me!) He's just adorable. Little weenie peenie and all.
eehee! oh his peen makes me happy XD i'd smooth out the ridge that happens on his torso joint. But that's just me. Eggbert is a fabulous name.
Im not sure-he's difficult to make at the moment as his reedy arms keep snapping. The fimo/prosculpt mix just isnt strong enough yet so Im going to have to work out something there. He also doesnt have a head yet. He's going to be quite stylised, so probably unsaleable-I got a lot of inspiration from Junko Mizuno as far as heads are concerned (Im dismayed to find most of my sketchbooks contain big-headed, bug-eyes girls with neither noses nor mouths) so he will look a little odd. Ill post more pics when I have the head done. Its looking very much like I will have to resculpt it, but I could use the imperfect head as a base, or cast it or something...
