Well I just got the coolest mistake out of this. I accidentally put too much urethane in the mixture and the head came out all glowy looking! (It was supposed to be a normal skin head but it looks so awesome!!!!) I couldn't resist so I gave her a quick faceup.

UPDATE 10//07
well here's a pictures of Echo in resin but I found that the rubber I used warped the resin head, it also ended up giving me a lot of surface air bubbles, So now I have 5 bodies without heads >.< starting tomorrow I will start making the new molds out of silicone, please pm me if you would like one of the miscasted heads... I'll be selling them at $20... they are not perfect and have a lot of airbubbles. but they work really well if somebody wants to practice faceups. please pm me: Here's the best head that came out of all of this hassle:

UPDATE 9/30/07

For anybody that is interested I will be releasing Echo iat the end of October in a limited amount of 30 sets. 6 of which will be limited Full sets with regalia. If you are a clothing designer and would like to volunteer some designs for the fullsets please PM me and get a chance to win a FREE Echo Angel.
The Designer requirements will go as follows.
Design an ethereal regalia for a category, meaning:
category 1: elf maiden
category 2: elf boy
category 3: elf angel
Only one entry per person per category please, there will be one winner per category. The DUE DATE FOR ALL DESIGNS IS OCTOBER 15TH

I will also have a second release of the Angel type right before Christmas, which will include a set of angel wings and christmas regalia.

I am casting Echo starting today so pictures of the finished angel version will come sometime this weekend. The girl an boy versions will come shortly after. Please look forward to them. We're incredibly excited even though the molding will be most difficult.

I've been working on Echo on and off for the past few weeks, I had originally intended for Echo to be 26cm but due to the proportion of her head I decided 35cm would be for the best. I'm hoping to cast this little cutie in the near future and will have three different gender options. Boy, Girl, and Angel. Echo will wear 14mm size eyes and 6-7 wig, possibly 7-8 depending on how thick her skull becomes after alterations.
If you give enough love and support I might just make some for the general public ^_^

And yes I fixed the eyes in the second picture, I added eyelids and made them equal in size. Echo does indeed look like a boy in the second picture as that was what I intended but I will make Echo in all three genders. Yes, three genders being male, female, and angel. Picture will be available soon ^_^
I'm glad you like his eyes and nose, I get my camera back tomorrow so I'll be able to take some nice profile pictures and pictures of his completed torso as well. I've completed most of the body but I ran out of super sculpy so his hands legs and feet are still in the making. It's the poutiest sculpt I've ever made. I have huge plans on casting the little cutie and turning it into a Christmas elf.

Aww thanks ^_^. I figured that it would be for the best to make it in all three since the people who've known about Echo since the beginning all seem to want different things from the sculpt. It's really an adorable size, although I'm still indecisive about what to call him/her/it lol. sometimes I want to call it a she and sometimes a he so that's what made me decide on the different genders.
It's probably the one sculpt I've created that I feel happiest with.

I plan on casting him sometime in the beginning of October as there is a convention in singapore that he needs to be ready for, I have talked to a shop owner and she is going to take 6 Echos to a convention to be sold as full sets, they will come with a pair of glass eyes, a wig, and a OOAK regalia for each limited set. I will also provide a raffle to win an Echo Angel limited, the website should be up sometime in October. I'm really excited as you can see.

As for Updates: I did a practice cast for Echo and it was very successful as far as first tries go. I'm very pleased with how Echo is turning out. I have fixed all of the little cracks that needed to be filled after casting and am going to make all of the molds tomorrow along with my faithful helper Corpse Blossum.
This is by far the best learning experience as far as dolls go. I will update with pictures soon, Probably on friday as that will be our least busiest day, (since all of the molds will be finished by then)

THere were a few setbacks with the silicone molds but I'll have pictures of full dollies this weekend ^_^ and dressed in silk garb.

1. You can make one for each category ( 3 in total)
2.It does not have to be in color, I'd prefer it without since I have already but the fabric I'm going to use for these designs.

If you must I will have pictures on tuesday (the hands and feet didn't do well in the rubber molds either so I am also transferring those to a shore 30 silicon. I suppose my mistake was using shore 60 rubber (it's too hard but I was hoping it would still work.))
