40–49cm Dolls Early Bday Present! Myou Doll Sandra

Howdy All! It's been a verrrrry long time since I've posted on DoA, but I wanted to share my newest girl since there aren't many user pictures of Myou Doll Sandra and even less of any customized ones (trust me, I scoured while I was waiting for her lol). I had been eyeing her up on Mandarake for months, hemming and hawing about getting her or someone else (I'm a kind of a volks junkie at this point ) but I figured volks dolls are a dime a dozen on mandarake and this girl just checked off all of my wants (animu, big bb body, tan skin) so I took the plunge when some extra funds came my way.

Anywho, here are the opening pics as well as some pics of her after I painted her up. I've also taken a hand full of pics of her with different eyes, so I might post those in a separately, if I do, I'll link it back here.
Side note: sorry her collar is jacked up in all of these pics, this particular shirt was in storage for a while and I just never ironed the collar Also, her name is Chloe :3

I usually like to do a few mockups of faceups on clip studio before I commit to the real thing, not too far off from my original concept, which I'm super happy with


Also cat in the box, he was absolutely thrilled lol.

Riiiiiiight??? I knew she had some hidden potential once I started messing around with a few mockups, I can't wait to spoil her and make her a bunch of new outfits and eyes :3

Thanks, I'm really proud of this one, it turned out better than I expected
And even if you don't go for Myou Doll, I would recommend a resin anime girl, I'm the same where I'm not really into vinyl since really like how weighty resin feels (opposite to most people lol), plus staining and parts cracking isn't anywhere near the same issue as it can be with vinyl.

 

Thank you! It really is awesome, I would have given my left arm for all these cute resin anime dolls when I first got started in the hobby, then it was DD, obitsu, or nothing lol.
