Accessories Dyed Leather - stain Resin?

I have used a lot of leather in jewelry and haven't had any problems, but it does depend on how much resin contact there is. If it is a tightly laced collar or bracelet, you may get some dye transfer. It also depends on the leather, deep dyed suede is more problematic than something like high grade Greek leather cord, for example.

 

It depends on the Faux Leather. I've had zero problems with genuine Ultrasuede and Ultraleather, but cheap-ass pleather can stain.

 

Also faux leather may degrade and the surface flake over time (like so many of us have experienced with our expensive faux-leather dolls shoes), so might be worth going with the real thing if you want the jewellery to last.
