Mini DV B4-19 review: ask not what this body can do for you

    1. It would take too long. Faster to ask what this body can't do.
      Head is Doll Chateau Kid Bella, body is Dream Valley's new B4-19 body. 45 cm with head. Both are in white resin, blank. I believe the dress is from SartoriaJ, but you'll have to ask @Eyezofeden to be sure. Boots are from Iplehouse, FID size.

      This body does... everything. The torso has multiple joints for extra flexibility. Double-jointed peanut knees, thigh peanut joints.
      Standing, one leg bent:

      Leaning backwards? Yeah, she can do that:

      Splits? No problem:

    2. Bending forward? Easy peasy (didn't realize until after I was editing the photos that her boots were upside down. Sorry, kiddo):

      Side twist? Pshaw. Not a problem:

      Knee bends are a breeze:

      Side lean? Sure. Standing, even:

      My only recommendation - if you want this doll to stand on one leg, wiring would be helpful. However, you're going to want 1 mm max diameter wire.

    5. That's amazing! I tend to prefer the aesthetics of old, single-jointed bodies, but seeing this I wanna put all my dolls on this body hahahaha :D

    8. Thanks for the review! I've been admiring the beautiful sculpting of Dream Valley bodies for a while (those collarbones, those fingers!) and thought the posing looked nice as well. I'm glad to see I wasn't mistaken! I don't know if I'll have need of a doll body anytime soon, but if I do, I'll be keeping Dream Valley in mind :love

    9. Oh wow, she’s everything you could ask for! That posing ability is incredible.

      Dream Valley has been on my list of companies to buy from since before I got my first doll, this definitely gets me excited about getting one of my own some day. I wonder if they’ll make a 1/4 scale male body with that extra torso joint some day, that would be a dream come true.
