Any experiences with shoes? Her feet should be 5cm long, that is a bit short for most MSD shoes

Lawrdy I love her to bits! She was a bit of an impulsive purchase (only because I hadn’t spent much of my PFD this year and I’d sold a couple of dolls ), but I have NO REGRETS! \o/

Also, I found out some fun tidbits about clothing fitting for her thanks to the fact that I have a decent variety of different doll sizes I have to shop for. You can find the quick photos I took here and here.

Just got my tracking number! I'm guessing everyone else's already has their Roze Heln on the way or already home? Dust of Dolls is great with communication. I hope to avoid purchasing from PNW Expo in the future, invoices always late and hard to get in contact with them. blah!

Woot-woot! My Heln is here! I'm not even too mad at swiss customs and their steep fees (well, a lillte bit...) ... She is so cute, I love her! I think I'll cancel this afternoon's sewing for a faceup. ^_^

hello everyone I have my sweet Roze (will post photos as soon as the light is good enough to take some!) and just wanted to mention that Roze can wear Unoa shoes made by Summomo on etsy.

 

Unfortunately, there won't be another preorder for the pêche skin, but she will be available in a dark resin, soon. You can have a look at their Instagram, or at Benjaminbenchan's Instagram to have a sneakpeek.

 

Time to start saving up Heln fans. Dust of Dolls just announced on their Instagram that the chocolat Heln will be available to preorder from the 14th of February to the 14th of March this year. They’re saying it’s another PNW convention exclusive like last time, but you’ll be able to order her via their website (attendees will receive a reduction in the price). No price released yet, but they said on the IG post that they’ll announce that soon.

 

I'm really tempted by the new pre-order, but I'm unsure if her size will be too big for me. I still class myself as a newbie to bjd dolls...the biggest one I've owned is a secretdoll person. Really love the pictures though!

 

@Rogue : I don't know if it may help you but, Dust of Dolls shows a picture of their dolls on Instagram.
You'll be able to compare the size of Heln.
Krot measures 11 cm, Zouh nearly 20 cm without ears, Appi 26,5 cm and Cham 34 cm.
For Roze Heln, it's about 42 cm...
I agree that it's a big difference between your tiny secretdoll and Roze !

 

Arg, I can't decide. Second hand Roze Heln in pêche or join the preorder for one in chocolat? I really like her in fair skin and have only resisted so far as I managed to buy two other dolls this week (oops) ... but the photos of her in the darker resin are cute too.

I mean, I could get both. I like how this sculpt works both as a sweet, freckled, innocent young girl and a glossy, made up older character. But I'm trying to be good.

 

Gahhh, I caved in and preordered a chocolat Roze Heln.
I had initially feared that her price would be much higher, and it was lower than expected, so I ordered her

I don’t plan to preorder the chocolat version, but I’m definitely looking forward to seeing everyone get their brown cuties eventually.

 

I'm on the fence. I caved and bought her second hand in pêche because I love her sculpt so much, but I need to get her a face up, wig and clothes too and really shouldn't start looking at a second one before she's even here. And with the postage system currently suffering delays, she might take a while to arrive. There is a risk, though, that I will love her as much as I anticipate and realise I want her in the darker resin too.

 

I was surprised to find Roze Heln in pêche skin so quickly on the second hand market.
Maybe it will be the same in chocolate skin?!

 

I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if some of the chocolat girls pop up on the secondhand market semi-quickly. Short preorders like this definitely bring out the impulsive buyers, plus the doll costs so much that I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s first on the chopping block for a lot of people if they need to sell a doll from their collection for financial reasons. P: I imagine they go pretty quick though. Roze Heln is a pretty popular doll atm if the amount of likes I managed to get on IG with my girl compared to what I usually get are anything to go by.

The picture of chocolate roze heln was what got me into this hobby so Im really excited! Do people generally have a difficult time finding a faceup artist for their dolls (especially for darker resin)?

just found out that some minifee shirts are a bit too tight on roze heln, but sd13 tops actually fit pretty well if you don't mind tucking it in a little

 

Hello all.. I just bought a second hand Roze on ebay and I am looking for clothing that fits and shoes? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

 

I find that sd13 sized skirts and shorts and Minifee size shirts fit her well. petitepepito's clothes on Etsy fit my roze nicely, the pants are just a little long, but she told me if I order something else she can adjust the length for me of it, so I'm sure she could do that for you as well.

this is my Roze in a SD size dress from kouri carousel, and a Slim MSD shirt underneath, I could tighten the top half of the dress slightly, but I don't really mind

Changed up Tris’s outfit a few days ago and ffff I love her so muuuuch. She’s one of the dolls I have that really rocks the heck out of high-waisted bottoms.



Can’t wait for the lovely gal behind SMPdoll to eventually get her Chocolat Heln. We’ll have someone making cute, modern Roze-tailored clothes in the future. Always makes me happy when some of my favorite seamstresses get my favorite odd-sized dolls in their collections.

It’s been a while. I want to ask if someone of us who enter an preorder of Rose Heln Dust of dolls held in March got any last updates from company about delaying time or something?
im a bit confused, cuz they stop their activity in social media just after preorder was closed.
I know it’s everything going not as planned way, because Of Covid, but it’s normal to give some feedback to customers or I’m worrying in vein...?

 

My baby has a face! And a wig! And clothes! None of them have arrived home yet but when they do I'll report back about fit.

Does anyone have any eye recommendations? I have literally never purchased doll eyes before (every doll I have is wearing what they were sent with) and although I've got her down as needing 12mm I don't really know where to start. Will anything labelled 12mm work or am I looking for a certain style/shape?

The eyes I got with her are suuuper dark (I'm not sure if we all got the same colour) and I've gone for a very light, natural, young look for her, so I feel like she needs something paler. *sigh* I do wish you could get extra face plates for this doll. I love the photos of her face up I've been sent, but I'd also like to have a heavily freckled version of her, and a made up glossy version, and ...

 

Hello. I can't find a Cham thread, can anyone direct me? I ordered Cham Byol in November, it is March now and I have received no doll nor any word on her status. I have sent emails and received no reply. Are they okay? Are they busy or not working? I'm worried.

When did you sent mail last time? I’ve been sent an email them and waited answer around 1 week. Whey said that still waiting an answer from their factory and apologized for lack of information now. But it was in the beginning of April.
I think we are all stuck. But I hope they will give some information in their Instagram or website soon.

 

Thank you, it has been about a week and a half. Maybe when the new week starts I'll get a reply. Which doll was if that you inquired about? The Byol preorder was in November....

 

@Leieq I hope you’ll get reply. I start to worry, when company stops posting in their social media, and their representatives stops promotion. There are no any feedback in Instagram, no communication. That’s a bit strange because people surely worry. Now is hard time for everyone, and lack of information are definitely stress. I entered their last preorder on Rose Heln. And I really sad to know that even previous preorder also in limbo.

 

I sent another email yesterday... but yes I am very stressed. Their last communication on Facebook was about extending layaways but no other information. I've just been laid off from my job too and really can't afford to have hundreds of dollars go missing like that.... I don't think Dust of Dolls has a bad reputation but any information from them would help.

 

@Leieq I think everything will be fine, I hope they will popup soon. I mailed them too, when I’ll get some news I’ll keep posted.

 

I am sure everything is fine with them, France seems to be quite affected by the crisis though which is why i assume there haven’t been news for a while.
If I’m not completely mistaken they posted on Facebook recently that the dolls are with them now (both cham and roze) but that due to their mail courier currently not shipping internationally they are trying to find other couriers in order to ship all the girls to their respective owners as soon as possible
Regarding the roze I was actually very surprised about her arrival, I have the feeling that went very fast
((Also my profuse apologies for not offering a link to the source but I am not personally on Facebook hence I cannot insert their post but maybe if someone else found it that might help to ease ppls minds )

 

Yes couple of days ago I received their mail, that they posted new on fb.
They got Rose an Byol and expect to get Cota by July.
For now they looking for opportunities to send dolls but seems French post can send them only without any tracking and insurance. So they definitely on line with buyers.
But current global situation with post craziness, they are also in waiting mode. Hope that everything will going clear soon.

Roze Heln is such a great doll. I'm in love with her face and body (not her poseability though lol) I have to say my favorite part are her thighs, TOO CUTE!
