I'm thinking of buying a dust box (like this) for keeping resin dust from flying around my apartment when I sand projects, and was wondering if anyone had experience also using it as a spray booth for Msc? My main worry is the vent doesn't connect to a window, but instead a bag meant for collecting dust. Would that work for msc particles? Or does anyone have any tips for keywords to Google to find advice on this? (My googling skills are not great lol) My alternative idea was to use a spray booth with a vacuum vent that can connect to a window, but I'm more doubtful of how safe that is since there's no seal on the front Thanks!
The dust box looks like an excellent idea. I wish I had thought of it. I use one of those fold-up illuminated spray booths for both sanding and airbrushing Like this one . They are suppopsed to work by drawing the particles into a filter at the back of the booth. To be frank, it isn't very good. The fan is noisy and and the room still fills with fine particles. In hindsight I think one venting to the outside will be considerably better.
