I have both of them at the moment.
The Tender Too has a "natural" face up done in the browns.
The Tender Bee-a has a "cutie" face up done in the peaches.

Hello everyone! I am new to this thread; since I just received my T.Too, my first DoC, in the mail this morning :3

Aubergine Girl: I think Tender Zens would fit the bill :P I was planning to get a T.Zen, but this guy at the bottom of this post stole my heart when I saw him on the MP~ though T.Zens look a little soft, you could add some ruggedness to the sculpt using suitable wigs or clothes o3o

Everybody's kids are gorgeous! Here's a quick picture of Cael... I don't think it's a really flattering shot, but it's the only one that... works (?) atm XDD

 

Panda, I cant say for Too and Bee since I don't own them, but I do love my little Homme Ivan! He was my first doll and he is a very special doll! He can pose fairly well out of the box in the basic poses such as sitting, standing, kneeling and etc, and I didn't even have to restring him.

Panda: For doll poseability, the body doesn't really affect me so even though their bodies are single-jointed, I LOVE the ability of their arms and legs. They also have that joint in their thighs which allow them to sit in a fetal position, which some dolls lack(:
My other dolls from AoD, Luts and Minifee can't do that x.x

My T.Too is the only doll I have from DoD, though :P

I have been swamped with hw from a very challenging class since before my T. Bee-a and my friend's T. Too arrived here. I think they are completely gorgeous, and I've never had trouble putting them in poses. However, I also haven't played with them quite as much as I like! lol. I haven't tested their limits or anything, but they slouch beautifully, sit beautifully, cross their legs beautifully, and prance around together beautifully lol. I'm over the moon about them ^^

I know my boy poses well. He can stand on one foot and looks so natural in whatever pose he's in (unless I purposefully make him do something impossible for humans XD) I love his knees. My other dolls all have knee issues but my Si doesn't I should get some picture spam of him... he hasn't had a photoshoot in a while.

 

DOC molds seems like they resembles each other, very difficult to identify sometimes especially when they have different/similar face-ups... Anyway, let me continue picture spam please ^___^

#1 what size wigs fit doc's the best?
#2 what size eyes fit i love the ones in his default but cant really tell the size
#3 doc's are relatively taller than regular msds. Besides Dollmore where are other places i can get casual clothes for him?

I used the default wig and have never changed his wig but MSD generally uses 7-8.

Mine are 14mm. I find that 14mm tends to fit most dolls from tinies to SD-size and 14mm works well on my Ivan. He uses two different glass eyes but both are 14mm.

#3 Besides Dollmore where are other places i can get casual clothes for him?
I only have one MSD so I can't do any comparison lol but I've bought clothes from DOD, Dollmore, and Tata and they all fit my boy. I did have one shirt from Alice collection that was too tight though. I think you should be fine with most outfits unless they happen to be those tight-fitting/body hugging types or custom-made for certain smaller-than-DOD dolls.

Hope it helps even if a little. >_< (And Ivan is certainly a beautiful doll <- owner bias LOL)

 

@pokori 16mm eyes also fit. It depends on your preferences I guess.

7-8 wigs no doubt, the 6-7 ones won't fit (I personally recommend, Luts, Leeke, Crobi etc.)

The default eyes for DOCs are 16mm but if you want your doll to look mature you can try 14mm

Yes Dollmore is one of the popular choice, I usually buy from them but aside from it I also buy from Tata's Paradise. If I feel like making some clothes for them I try

As for the wig size. I do have some Leeke wigs in 6-7, and they fit him as well. They are a bit tight, but they fit. The 7-8 sized wigs are a tad big, they only fit when I use velcro ^_^;

I'm not sure what other bodies go well with the DOC heads. Though, I think the resin match would be one of the trickier things to find. ^^; I'm not sure.

Looks like someone else just came in here asking about resin matching. I haven't found an answer to that question either, but apparently the newest DoD resin is wayyyy pinker than DM and Fairyland for sure.... Probably too pink for DZ too. :S
My biggest concern is that the new girl body will be hard to fit into various MSD size clothing because it's chunkier than most mature bodies. Does anybody have experience purchasing outfits for the new girl body and swapping clothing with other MSD size dolls?


@Queedie2; Lovely Bee-a! I see yours came with an open mouth? :3 She has a great default wig, looks like Leeke's peach-pink which I love.
Maybe you're the right person to ask if MNF and new DoC can share clothes. xD (I've been doubting it but maybe I'm just assuming.)

You have a good eye xD That's exactly what wig she has It's amazing
It's in pretty good condition considering the wig is second hand I think I am going to wash it a bit and give it a little more life.

My minifee (I have a large bust and a cutie bust) and my Bee-a share clothes pretty well. The Bee-a is slightly bustier than the large busted mnf, but I haven't encountered anything of theirs that she can't wear yet.

I'm not sure that the DOC resin is pinker than the FL, but it's definitely paler. I can take a pic of them together if you want. You know, comparison shots. Let me know if you want to see anything in particular ^^

Good to hear they can share clothes with MNF, that was one of my main concerns. I love the MNF bodies and I wasn't sure if the bust on them would compare to DoC, but I keep forgetting their new bodies have bigger chests. x3 I know someone with a Petsha and she seems to have been able to fit them into Luts and Island Doll clothing, which is great.

It's paler than FL? That surprises me. o.o But I guess paler and pinker are two different things! I've heard the newest DoDs (last year or so) are very pink, someone I know has tons of DoDs and when he did a comparison photo his newest was vastly different from the older ones.

InkyBear, I can't wait to see your Kirill and Ivan! It always kills me whenever I have an incomplete doll (have one or two right now) and I always wished they could be completed soon so I can take and spam photos LOL. So I hope yours will be finished soon and then you can kill us with photos!

@Queedie2; This is a very good question. o.o It would be pretty cool if they did, seeing as TF bodies have such a child-like quality to them compared to the slim MNFs!
I've compared newer DoC and older DoC to my girl at a meetup, and of course the older DoC is paler but actually pretty similar in peachy tone. The newer DoC is way pinker, but again paler.
It sounds very much like what you described for the MNF. :0
Now the trouble is getting a MNF and TF in the same photo! I will make this my new mission. xD

Hi, I was just wondering if the clothes, shoes and wigs on DollZone will be able to fit the DoC girls (to be more specific, just Twing-key)? I checked out the DoC's shoe section and all of it is sold out.

Anyone know the measurements for Twing-key? ^^

Which body are you planning to get for your Twing-key? The more mature girl's new body has quite a big chest, and is also rather broad in the hips. My Twing-key has the new body and she hardly fits pants that my Dollzone boys do. I don't have any Dollzone girls, but I could imagine that they are also slimmer than the DoC new girl body.

Maybe the more youthful, "first" body version is slimmer - but if it is similarly built like the DoC boys, then it might still have a couple of problems with slimmer Mini-sized clothing. For the shoes though, my Twing-key can wear everything I've got for my Mini-sized dolls so far - she has narrow and small feet.

As for wigs, I would take the size 7-8, it fits fairly well, though a little loose for some wig brands I've tried till now. Dollzone MSD-sized/7-8 Wigs fit her perfectly.

 

I plan on getting the new body. But then again, I might change my mind later. ^^;

I'm so glad that Twing-key can fit into almost everything.

My new Twin-B boy is finally complete so I thought I'd share a photo of my brothers. ^^



Kei (Tender Too) is the older brother, but he sure doesn't act like it... Seiga is the more mature one. Kei loves to glomp him, but he doesn't like being hugged (not by Kei, anyway). x'D They're so cute together, though~

DoCs are taller than Kid Delfs. In platform shoes, Bijou (KDF Ani) is almost the same height as Ichabod (DoC Si).

I keep forgetting to post here...XD

Long time DOC owner. I have 3 DOCs and my Mom has one. Got my first one in 2006 and just got the most recent one this month. I have a U, Kirill, and now a Cyma. Mom has a Leya. I know Cyma is pretty new (I think I'm the only one on DOA with one as far as I know) so if anyone wants to see photos of him, I can share~ There is a Dustin on the boards but the owner hasn't been very active.

I also have some resin comparison photos of the DOCs we have through the years ('06, '07, and '11) and also was very surprised that the new DOC double jointed body is actually smaller than the older "long legged body". Its more the height of the original old DOC body (though I don't have one around to compare to at this time, very curious to see which is taller).

Edit: Also looks like there's two new DOCs up on the site. They're both tanned skin. Honestly I think it looks like DOD is experimenting and I'm not sure if I like how they look. Definitely not interesting to me at least.

 

Though I'm sure an owner picture is going to prove me wrong, those two limited tanned dolls really aren't appealing to me either. I think it's just what they've done with them this time though as I'm sure they're beautiful sculpts overall.

 

The dolls don't interest me but I reallllly love that boy outfit!
