    1. I didn't see a thread for Dream High Studio dolls in general (saw DHS specific doll threads, but not just a general discussion) so I figured why not start one. If there is one, I apologize and feel free to delete this one.

      Just wanted to open a thread up to have discussions about the wonderful and beautiful Dream High Studio tiny dolls. The couple that creates them are extremely talented and skilled at creating gorgeous and super tiny but detailed dolls. Their dolls are unique and they have even created their own special resin to make their dolls out of. It's pretty amazing and I am so in love with all their dolls. Figured it'd be awesome to find people who share this love for this company!

    3. Oh my gosh I'm so glad you started this thread! I've looked for one before but never could find one and apparently never had the initiative to start one, either, lol! And your little Fae are so gorgeous! I love DHS little fairies, they're just such pretty dolls!

    8. wilkies I love them! The three different colors look really neat standing side by side, too, like a little tribe of strange creatures! And yes, technically you're only allowed one photo per post, but that just means you can come back and share more later!

    10. Awww that is really awesome to see three different resin colors standing next to each other! I really love your little tribe. And I think the mods say one...but usually they'll let it slide if it's just a few. They just don't want a huge spam of photos all at once because I guess that's what the gallery is for...but definitely feel free to put up more pictures of them in your next posts :) They're a lovely bunch and I'd definitely love to see more of them.

      Oh turning into a DHS addict is very easy, that's for sure!
      Your Hanny is such a handsome boy! His eyes are quite pretty.
      Yay another Dragonia! I keep wondering where all the Dragonia owners are (as well as the other little fae owners. don't see too many of them around)
      Is yours a boy or girl? Mine is a boy but I saw a few owner pictures through google where Dragonia was referred to as a girl.
      Faye is very pretty, especially in that dress! Did you make it for her? The colors of it compliment her resin color so perfectly!!

    14. My DHS Rhino's arrived today and I am very unhappy. I bought both planning on keeping only one once I had seen them in person and could make the decision about the colour that worked best for me.... so I unboxed the first one (white), She was so darn adorable..... and I unboxed the second one (grey) she was also so darn adorable !!!! How can you even consider one colour over the other when both are perfect. And together, they sure make a cute set of twins !!! I guess it will have to be two Rhino's in my household now.....

      Oh and they fit some puki clothing. One set I tried didn't fit. Stretchy is great, but non-stretchy and buttoned across where the shoulder blades won't work. The non-stretchy set that clips at the waist is good and a set that clips at the neck is good. ....edit to add : I just tried other Fairyland Puki clothing and there was some that don't fit to button at the neck. But they were clothing that wouldn't matter if it wasn't done up at the neck unless you were looking at the back of the critter.

      Everlasting babies      : My heart dropped when I read you were unhappy! You had me so scared...I thought something was wrong with them but I'm so very glad that it's a good 'unhappiness.' Your babies are beautiful and I can understand why you must keep them both. I wouldn't be able to let one go either. The pink skin is very pretty and not as pinky as I thought (from the promo photos). Thank you for sharing with us about the Puki clothes too as I'm not sure if anyone else as tried to put them in any other type of clothing. *Still must resist the rhinos* I'm trying so hard...

    20. Algesiras, WOW he looks so adorable !!! Just resting after his long journey. And yes, it is a puki sized overall set. It's Fairyland's Red Bell. Super adorable on this little critter !!!

      lol SORRY raevynvelcross :-P But I WAS unhappy that it wasn't an obvious decision. Well... I guess it is obvious.... I NEED to keep them both :-P They have now joined my RealPuki's in and around the easter decorations on the table. I haven't opened the fullset outfits because right from their arrival, I didn't want to conform to the majority and dress them in their fullset outfits. I hoped puki clothes would fit coz I have loads of clothing and no puki's :-P But they are so darn cute in the nuddie !!! Their pudgy limbs and tubby tummy..... not to mention the cute little tail/bottom.

      Oh and Leah is white. Totally and completely white. No pink tinge to her skin other than the blushing.

      While hubby and the boys were watching a show last night, I continued going through my Puki clothing and these worked for them too ;-)...

      I'm always a bit overwhelmed (in a good way) when people find her pretty too - not used to it. It's really nice to be able to talk to people with similar aesthetic sense :D

      Thanks. There are a few fae owners on the forum, several people have a few. They look so good with large fantasy dolls.
      Dragonia is ... well I always think about him as a boy; but I'm a little toen at times, I think a dress might look quite good on him (oh dear!)
      Thank you so much for complemnting Faye's dress (^_^) yes, I did make it for her. I wanted something sheer so her "glow" would still show through at night; but I could not find suitable fabric, so in desperation I decided to take some neutral fabric and paint it, which gave me the flexibility to pick colours just for her.

      I'd like to make a little bonnet or head band to go with it.

      EverlastingBabies Thanks for sharing your outfit findings. The lace dress is absolute genuis!

      Everlasting Babies: Truly such a dilemma but I'm so glad to see that they are both staying with you!! There's no way I'd be able to part with just one of them either...they're such spectacular little things.

    24. Such wonderful dolls everyone has. PrincessR - your doll is beautifully dressed for spring - can't believe the snow though (we had it here too)

      And great to see all the hippo photos - it seemed such an odd idea for a doll, but looking at the pictures it really, really works.

      Does anyone here have an open eyed boo or squee? I love the G2 body, but I can't see their faces properly in the DHS photos.

    25. My Mica should be here on Tuesday....I can't wait to hold him....I'm so glad he is an amazing poser, I had a Princess Kaba from CCC, she was beautiful but couldn't stand for beans. Its really important to me to have not just the esthetic side, but that practical side too!

    26. Here's HERE and i LOVE him....to anyone reading this who is on the fence about this guy- get him!!! SO so so poseable and well balanced- seriously, overall best quality anthro doll I have had. He is perfect.

      Of course, we won't talk about putting his eyes in....seriously, eye putty is usless and we need to admit it.

      PrincessR > On this picture he's sitting on a wrist cushion, you know, it's a computer accessory to rest your hand/wrist. This one is full of silicone gel and in the shape of a little cow. ^^ You can find this stuff on ebay, in the korean stores of goodies.
      I love your easter picture, soo pretty!

      I will be able to post comparison pictures soon of Mica with other tinies.

    28. Hey guys! I just got my Nero in the mail today. Unfortunately the only good shot I have of him is after prying open the bubble wrap cocoon. Good lighting was just not happening today.

      I'm annoyed, though. The magnets that are supposed to hold his wings on were installed wrong so they repel instead of attract. It shouldn't be too hard to fix but I'm not sure what glue is going to work best...though now that I think about it, a little dab of hot glue should do just fine. Problem solved!

      I'd intended to name him Dante, but now that he's here it just doesn't seem fitting. Hopefully we get some better light soon so I can get some good pictures, and a better idea of what to name him. Oh! And for the curious, he's 5 of 25.

      Nelik let me photograph her Pukipuki (thank you!) but as she doesn't have many clothes and only dresses, it's still not easy to realize which ones fit Mica exactly, but I hope it helps a little.

    44. Hey guys! I was just curious, what's the wait time for these dolls like? The website mentions 35-50 days for some dolls. I just placed a custom order (yes Donny is beyond amazing for approving it) so I'm guessing my wait will be closer to the 50 day mark (maybe longer?). I don't mind since I'm lucky enough to be able to order in the first place! :)

      Gaia looks wonderful but I personally haven't ordered him as I wasn't sure he'd go with my two girls.

      weeks ago that GANDOLF, FRODI and ELFWOOD were names in my family's lines of geneology!!! Told
      me kids - they'd have to incorporate a few into their children's names!!! But for some reason I doubt
      they will ... so I'll have to look there for my doll's names!!! King Frosti was another one - BELIEVE IT

      me realize the LOTR names (some of them at least) are NOT fictional names, but of actual people!!!! I hope some
      of my grandkids get them as middle names!!! :D

      And I ADORE my little RHINO!!! I couldn't be happier with him! But he may end up a girl sometimes too ... am in the
      middle of a cute little red wig for him/her and will post tomorrow!!!
