Dream Valley Waiting Room #2

My Milien ordered through Alice's Collections back in February just shipped! I ordered her blank except for a face-up.

 

Just got a shipping notice from DDE for my White Moth fullset! I'm so excited, I've been on the edge of my seat since people started getting their nudes Moths. Was about 11 months to the day from when I ordered, about on par with DV fullsets, I've just been especially excited for her lol

 

I went to make layaway payments on DV Robin and discovered I'd accidentally ordered him twice, and once was PIF. So that's why my bank account was so much more barren than I was expecting...

Plus side, DDE let me cancel the layaway since I'd already paid in full for one, so while money's tighter for a wee bit I've at least got fewer layaway payments! It's my first time having to wait DV's wait times without a layaway to distract me, though.

 

Ugh, I just can't get enough of Dream Valley!!! Just preordered the Daphlin fullset, though I'm kind of sad you can only get her in coffee. I like the tan skin but I think she would look good in a grey skin as well.

Oh my poor wallet but I can't wait to get her! I love her face shape and I think the bat parts are so cool! Now for the long wait until she is finished. As a birthday present, my hubby let me pull money from our savings to buy her outright so I don't have to worry about payments. What we were planning to use for her layaway will become our payments back into our savings. Yay for expensive birthday presents. Lol.

 

I had to email Bjdivas to figure out this exact thing back in July. Mine was one of the orders that was mixed up, and as of today I am still waiting to hear anything from bjdivas about my order. I might give it some more time before reaching out again, I'm sure they're swamped between the tariff stuff and this order mix up. I dunno. Kinda sad that I'm still waiting for my doll.

Fingers crossed it'll get sorted out soon!

 

I received my Ghost Moth (White Moss) yesterday from BJDivas! Which was a complete shock to me because I was never even notified that they had received her, let alone that she had been shipped.

It's actually a bit worrying to me. I was getting ready to email them to let them know if they were to receive her soon, to hold onto her as I would be leaving the country next week for a trip to Japan, and I didn't want her to try to be delivered while I was gone.

Also, who ever delivered her didn't knock or ring the doorbell, just left her on our front door. And because we weren't expecting a doll, had no idea it was sitting there. We didn't realize until a grocery delivery had been made later and saw the package when we went to answer the door! I'm actually not happy about the lack of notification as even though we have not had any package theft, doesn't mean it can't happen.

Aside from that, she is gorgeous! I love her face so much, and I've always wanted to own a four armed doll.

 

OMG I can't believe they didn't knock or ask for a signature or anything! I'm so sorry! Glad she arrived safely at least, but wow that super sucks.

 

I just got the shipping notification for my Sonata fullset from ACBJD! I'm amazed, this is way earlier than I expected to receive her since she's not blank, almost exactly six months from the order.

 

I got my notice a few days ago for Sonata too, I was also really surprised to get it already!

 

Anyone know what the typical wait time is for a fullset? I put Daphlin on layaway when she first dropped on sale on ACBJD, and my final payment will be at the end of this month. I'm assuming she'll come in time for my birthday next year in june, but I'm curious about the experience yall have had?

 

Not a fullset pre-order, but for reference, my basic pre-order for Nightmare Constantine took a little over 9 months from order date to arrival.

 

My fullset Chimera Hylander took about 8 months to get to me. Shes my most recent Dream valley. My shortest was Lami at 6 months and my longest was Gloria that took 13 months but I ordered her through a small dealer.

Im waiting for a fullset Dalphin too, though I ordered her towards the end of her run.

 

My Sonata arrived today - She is my first doll from Dream Valley and I am really impressed! Her jointing feels so smooth. I don't have much space to take photos right now but I'll try to get some good ones soon!

I ordered Sonata FS on March 30th so it took just a little over 7 months in this case

 

How exciting!! Glad she arrived safe and sound.

Just got a shipping notification from Alice's Collections for my Ilya White Priestess in purple skin!
So excited to see her in person ^-^

I can't wait to get some free time to finally get pictures with the full herd!

Ah what a surprise! Both of my Ilya's arrived today! The purple is really lovely. I'm very excited to get them painted...maybe that'll be my 2026 goal - sit down and do some painting. XD

 

Yall im so ready for my blank dalphin. I think im going to take some inspiration from Elissabat from monster high. I saw this artwork by lumachaii and just felt like it fit so perfectly. I think pink eyes will fit the albino bat vibe pretty cool too as I got the pure white resin. And the bangs will work well with her low eyes. I’ve never spent this much on a doll but she just spoke to me.

Wow that is a beautiful picture you found. I think it’s a great idea to use monster high as inspiration! I can’t wait to see how she turns out. Will you make clothes for her or buy them?

I bought her fullset as I am really back at finding and buying clothes for my dolls. I also can’t afford sending dolls for faceups at the moment. I can enjoy her as soon as I get her with her fullset. Maybe I can customise her differently in the future.

 

I am planing on sewing for her! Customizing things myself is my fav part of the hobby so ya know. She is a bit bigger for 1/4 scale so I am curious how premade stuff I already have will fit

 

I just got the alert that Robin is shipping from Alice's. That's WAY faster than I expected, based on previous orders-I honestly didn't expect him until about July/August. I guess they've really caught up after the slowdown the dragons seemed to cause.

 

Same, mine's on his way too! I was genuinely not expecting that, out of my current dolls on order, he was the one behind the latest tracking number I'm not complaining, though! This is one of my most anticipated dolls.

 

Oooh I wonder if DDE will be getting mine soon then? I still have a layaway payment or two though.

Gratz on the incoming wolves, looking forward to seeing owner pix soon.

 

I'm guessing later in the month, maybe the beginning of February. I have one layaway payment left on mine. It's awesome they are coming sooner than later, I was expecting closer to the end of April.

Received Robin today. He's HUGE.

 

Bigger than the lizard boy? or you think maybe about the same size? Cuz my first though with my lizard was how massive his feet are and that his legs seemed extra long.

 

I don't have the lizard boy, but his feet are indeed big (great for balancing) and his legs are maned wolf-like. I need to get Auricaelus out of his cabinet to compare but I think the wolf may be taller than the 1/4 dragon on his hindlegs.

 

Would love to see owner pics of Robin if anyone cares to share! Congrats on the earlier than expected shipments!

 

Finally got a shipping notice from Denver Doll for my Ilya!

 

Omg, I ordered Robin's fullset so now I am getting super excited to hopefully get him soon !! I already saw one owner pic of a blank Robin. I am sooooo eager I am gonna be checking my email for a shipping notice obsessively haha.

 

The Ilya I ordered arrived a few days ago! Human, blank, purple with the shoes and resin accessories. Love her so much! Can't wait to work on her!

Shoot I was really hoping for a Robin shipping notice too! But I ordered full set from DDE so guess I have more to wait...

 

I also ordered from DDE and haven't heard about Robin or Ares (dearmine), and Ares's fellow seasonal limited dolls are in stock now. On the other hand, this gives me more time to work with my current dolls that need face ups and things, so it's not all bad. Just hoping to have them before summer starts.
