My chimera shipped this morning. Disappointed to hear the outfit is poor quality, I thought it looked really cool in the promo photos. Guess I’ll have to wait and see with mine.

 

I've also gotten a shipping notice on my ghost moth from Alice *huzzah*
fingers crossed it goes smoothly for both of us!
I've never heard of this carrier before so it's nice to see someone else was also shipped using it

She’s made it to the UK yesterday but since it’s a bank holiday she probably won’t move until Tuesday.

Mine shipped from AC last week so it seems they’re getting sent out. I ended up messaging Alice for an update and they sent me a message after that with the shipping notice.

So, she's state side, and I will wait patiently and see how hard tariffs will hit, everything crossed for it not to be crazy. Better yet, for her to sneak in under the wire.

 

My Chimera was delivered today. :3 She is so cute but the eyes I got were not very nice (quality is fine but not right for the dolls design) so I found the closest spare ‘dragon’ ‘cat’ eyes I had floating around. Her outfit isn’t too bad but the string placement confused me so I’ve left it off for now. Once I have the photos uploaded I’ll share some here.

Just a heads up on the Chimera girl. All my magnets came out. Started with the ear one when she got here and at Doll North on the weekend her leg and arms ones came out as well. It was very disappointing as I couldn't set her up at the doll meet up.

 

I haven’t had any issues with the magnets but I’ll keep a more careful eye on them so thanks for the heads up.

That does sound disappointing, as you couldn’t get her out for your meet.

 

Ah! So excited to see the Chimera girls are arriving to people! I ordered one as well. Wonder if I'll get a notice soon too? I'm a little skeptical though as the dealer I regularly go through for dolls for the last few years seems to be having some issues recently.

@Azulafan199 I'm sorry to hear about your magnet issue! I think I had a magnet issue on the tail for my Cedar deer boy when he came it. Along with some slightly minor flaws in his face up. I was a bit surprised by that, as DV usually seems to have good quality control.

 

I've heard magnets can weaken in travel with temperature fluctuations, so could be that? I definitely have a lot of head cap magnets come out of new dolls that shipped from warmer locations. It's still a bummer that it happened; such a pretty girl!

 

The very obviously Chinese origin shipping box full of stickers etc containing Moth, was left on my doorstep just now. No charges, thank goodness.

Will hopefully get to open it up sometime this weekend if life allows!

 

I'm still waiting to hear anything from Denver Doll, but I think it's a good sign people are receiving the chimeras now! And that the most recent posts have been very recent. I've never had any issues with DDE though, so I'm trying not to borrow trouble and worry unecessarily.

 

Okay, I just updated the waiting page with NINE DV orders, dating back to 2020, lol.

Excited that Chimeras are shipping! Mines a fullset with an additional face up on the beast head, so I don't expect she'll probably be ready soon, lol. Also waiting on an Ehecatl and Moss.

 

Work has been really rough this week so getting my Chimera on my day off really helped. I just wish I had more time to go and take pictures with her. I'm hoping the weather will be nice on my next day off so I can take her out but if not then I can try to get some inside photos done. My work has some old fabric swatches that have been discontinues for our furniture and since they're almost curtain length I was thinking of using them as backdrops.

I hope all the rest of the Chimeras and Moths get shipped out. Kind of sad I skipped over the Moth as she was super cute but I've been going a bit over board with my collection so I should probably start narrowing down before I get more. :/ Such a hard hobby. XD

The chimera's lil face is the most precious thing! I'm not typically the biggest fan of anthro face sculpts, but she's particularly adorable.

I'm actually perpetually in this particular waiting room, it seems, since Dream Valley has such a chokehold on me... but as of right now, there's only one DV doll actively in transit and it's going to be a bit of a surprise I saw an Order fullset (with a bonus Chaos head) up on a dealer's site recently, and I had to snag it.

The "surprise" bit is due to how it was listed: "This listing is for the nude/blank doll in normal resin. Face-up, body blushing, and random eyes are included. An extra Chaos head is included."

The first sentence contradicts the second one, I'm pretty sure. So is it a nude doll or does it have a faceup and body blushing? I could've asked, but it didn't matter, I wanted it regardless and didn't wanna take a chance on someone else picking him up while I was waiting on a response. I suppose we'll find out which it is in approximately two days!

Oh good grief on the bouncing around! Thankfully the box is big and hopefully not prone to getting lost or falling in a crack somewhere. Keep us posted, it must be so stressful to keep up with her locations. And yes, I will do and opening or at least post some preliminary photos, hopefully I can get to it tomorrow!

He DOES have the body blushing after all (he's not a fullset, I misspoke, but I knew he didn't come with clothes/wig/etc)! His bonus Chaos face doesn't, but that works wonderfully for me, since I can reference the Order faceup when doing Chaos myself. Until I'm brave enough to do my first faceup (whether on him or anything else), he can keep the Order head on.

Buuuut I am gonna need to make him some slit-pupil eyes right away. I know they're "wolf" taurs (I assume "Maned Wolf", because I know of no other wolf that has long legs and ears that big), but honestly, they read "fox" to me, so he needs fox eyes! I didn't bother to put in the blue eyes he came with, since I'll be replacing them anyway and I don't feel like fighting with the S-hook at this time.

That, and in typical DV fashion, the magnets on one ear/side of head immediately fell out, so I need to repair that as well That would be one reason he's not wearing his ears...the other is that the spot he's sitting in isn't tall enough for the ears.

Hmm I guess I got lucky with my magnets on the moth girl, since none fell out, but a friend of mine who also got one said theirs fell out immediately.

 

If I'm concerned about my order and the lack of updates, do y'all think I should contact Denver Doll? I'm hoping I'm not jumping the gun.
As a reminder, I'm waiting on the full set of the chimera girl (not including the human head though).

I'm still waiting on my Ghost Moth fullset from Denverdoll too. But I have a sneaking suspicion I'll be in this waiting room for a long while now. I'm in love with Ilya (elf and giraffe versions) so I'm gonna see if I can make it work this month. XD

A part of me is kicking myself for not getting a Chimera, they really do look so lovely!

 

I would just shoot them an email, cannot hurt!

Today marks 8 months since ordering my dragon ver. Sylves through DDE, hopefully not too much longer before he ships!

 

Well. Two and a half years later, looks like the missing body saga will hopefully be coming to an end. Neither the original body nor the replacement were ever found, so BJDivas will be refunding my order. What a strange, twisting journey that whole ordeal was.

...And I shall be using that refund money to buy the Ilya giraffe version in purple!

 

Definitely a strange journey but at least it ended with a somewhat happy ending!

I decided to order myself an early birthday present; Elf Ilya in purple and a wall white Ilya giraffe! It's been a bit since I ordered blank dolls, it'll be fun to have some projects.

Has anyone who ordered during DV’s discontinued resale event back in October/November heard any word on their order yet? I’m estimating about a month or so of a wait for my Nirvana bird legs

 

I heard from DDE that they expect I'll get my Izzy sometime next month. Hopefully you get your order soon as well!

Hrm, despite getting tracking on Saturday, it still says "UPS doesn't have the package yet". Am I unlucky, or is anyone else experiencing this from DDE?

 

Hmmm. Mine's been picked up and looks like it'll be delivered on Thursday.

 

Good to know. I got an email saying my package will come tomorrow but the tracking says the same thing still so I'm trying to not get too hopeful.

 

Great news, they updated the tracking when it arrived to my neck of the woods and she arrived safe and sound! I can't wait to take more pictures of her when she's been clothed and painted.

 

My dragon version Sylves arrived safe and sound, exactly 9 months and 4 days after ordering. So excited to start working on him!

 

My Moth full-set just arrived, and I'm very impressed (mostly)! She's gorgeous. But I will say that her moth parts are very finicky and easy to fall off, especially her antennae, and the dress didn't fit correctly, so we had to stitch it closed. I'm not sure I'll buy another full-set from them. The body is is great though, and I both love and hate that her limbs attach magnetically. It makes it really easy to dress her, but I have notice her legs falling off easily. Otherwise, I love her, and I'm glad she's finally here!

 

Dream Valley must be seriously cranking out dolls, I just got an unexpectedly early update that Milien shipped! That's my quickest turnaround time on a DV doll yet. She's only a plain nude doll, but so was Ehecatl, and he took a lot longer than her.

I'm excited, but apparently August is the designated Month of Dolls for me and I have more coming in at once than I have places prepared to put them all!

 

I really wish we had the option of non magnet legs for her. If I tug mine too hard they do pop off her thighs.
I also struggle to keep the little foot wings on with her shoes. Do you have that issue? Once the shoes are on and laced up, they no longer seem compatible with the ankle wings attachments. I have to sticky tac them on and occasionally they just fall off onto my floor (thankfully carpet).

 

I just ordered my Fullset Robin (wolf) on layaway from DDE! I don't think I'll ever leave this waiting room with the way they've been churning out these beautiful dolls.

 

Hahah, same, this thread's not a vacation home anymore, it's a permanent residence! Just put in my order with Alice's for Robin (Human) in Light Tan. He's exactly what I wanted, no way I was gonna pass up on something that was built so perfectly for me.

I would really like to also get one in another tone, but going to take my time deciding on which one (and see where my funds are at that point). I have a spare Chaos head in Normal, and if that one physically fits on Robin's neck, it would probably look fantastic.

 

I just received notifications from BJDivas that they have my Ehecatl AND Hylander and are ready to ship them. Apparently there was a mix up with some of the orders from DV and they switched orders for different dealers, so BJDivas ended up with some other dealers orders and vice versa. They are working on it and my Hylander is complete aside for the extra head I ordered. I decided to have it shipped now and have the extra head shipped later when they have it.

Still waiting on my fullset Moth.

My issue now is… where am I going to display my Ehecatl?! Lol. I’m running out of space in my doll cabinets and he is going to be a BIG boy.

I just got tracking numbers for my Ehecatl and Hylander from BJDivas! So excited, especially for the Ehecatl.

 

I just ordered a werewolf cowboy Robin full set wolf version from DDE on a layaway. I will add my order to the master list if/when someone adds the month of August to the big list. (I'm not good enough ad editing the lists to add a month)

Did the layaway thing for Robin from DDE. Couldn't pass up on the werewolf boy.

 

Ordered the nude mia white robin werewolf wolf version 'cause I think I can paint it decently myself, let's see. I wasn't planning on getting another 1/4 so soon but it's got the quintessential wolf face! And I don't know when/if dream valley will ever decide to rerelease it, sometimes it seems they do and sometimes it seems they don't. I had a hard time deciding on faceup or not and which color resin.

 

Still waiting for my Milien from Denver Doll, haven't gotten a shipping notice yet the waiting is killing me
