50–65cm Dolls Dream Valley Vanora (head)

So I kind of sort of impulse ordered the Dream Valley Vanora head back when she was released in November because my dnd character has the same name, and she arrived Friday! I wasn't expecting her to even ship until the middle to end of May so getting the notice was a fun surprise. Since my character is a genasi, I didn't get the body.

I was surprised by how hefty the box felt when I gabbed it from my mudroom, and it's because THIS is the box it came in?!! This is SO nice! It's padded on the inside with a fuzzy fabric too

The COA is also really nice! And I love getting postcards of a doll I ordered too!

I won't be using the bunny ears for her but they'll be handy for testing dye formulas before i dye the head (my character is blue). The DV white resin is a really nice kind of ivory as opposed to paper white from some companies like Loongsoul.

Her elf ears are super cute! I think the detailing at the helix could work as fur or kind of like frills like a fish fin, which works out great for me! The lobes seem a little...shallow (not sure how to explain it) so I'm not sure how easy it would be to give her pierced ears though.

I apparently have a thing for dolls with this slightly open smile expression xD I just think it's cute!
She's got a really cute profile too!

Now I just need to find a body I like for her!

 

I might just glue earrings for her because piercing seems nerve wracking xD I'd love to see pictures of your Adria if you've posted any! I haven't seen many owner pics of the two of them!

 

I hadn't seen a doll come in a box that wasn't cardboard either! Even my Ringdoll licensed dolls have cardboard boxes with foam inserts, though it is sturdier and decorated.
