This little guy arrived in June, July this year? I ordered him in stock from ACBJD, it took about 2-3 weeks to arrive, I have forgotten. I have been late getting these done. But I like seeing other people's unboxing threads and photos to get an idea of whether I actually want the doll and it's just fun seeing what other people get. Hopefully you all enjoy! First, the unopened box. The coa did not fit inside, as I recall. Very similar to Rubin's box, but with a leather strap instead of a metal lock. Hmmm, cheaper. Just a mass of packing: Freedom! He has a very cute face sculpt: He's pretty small, I wonder if he would make a good shoulder dragon for a very large doll? Horns on the top of the head: Cute little claws: Fits nicely in the palm of your hand:
I'd love to but my only 1/3 is off-topic, besides being only 58 cm, I think bor's a little big. But maybe someone has a 78 cm or so uncle doll they can pair him with?
You could always share pictures in Brigadoon (only if you wanted to of course). But thanks for that info! I have a variety of sized dolls but I don't think I have one of that size so that just gives me another reason to one day collect one (and a Bor).
I love it when a blank and eyeless sculpt is still so so cute! Congrats and I hope you share pics of them on someone's shoulder!
I’m afraid I fell in love with Bor quite a while ago. I actually have the latest one with me. I have 2 Bors and an Eve; they are paired with Fairyland Real Pukis and based on Anne McCaffre’s White Dragon series of books. My latest Bor (who is actually a girl called Bramble) is very loosely strung. Does anyone know how they are strung?
I got this one from acbjd when they had a sale! It's still in stock there if you are interested. That's so cool! Are they dragons and their riders? I read the dragonriders of Pern (dragonflight, dragonquest, white dragon and all the weyrs of pern) a while ago and I enjoyed the first two the most. No idea on the stringing sorry. Thank you both! I am hoping I can keep the cuteness even after the painting, but seeing is part of the fun!
