Dream Valley BJD Tiny Dolls

oh wow I love the sweet chirp body, it's so cute.

 

Oh, I've seen photos of Foxy and Loxy before but was never sure who produced them. I've never heard of Dream Valley before. Are they associated with Doll Chateau? Their photography and web designs is quite similar.

 

I've had my eye on those cute little foxes!! I'd love to be able to order them on their own, so sad it's event only. Those dolls w the third arm are pretty rad tho.

 

Agreed! I seriously wish the foxes weren't a limited event thing. But I also love the 1/6 body and 1/12 dolls.

I’ve seen the foxes for sale at Clover Singing which is Jeereyama’s own webstore. I’d love to get one, but am unable to at this time.

 

I heard somewhere that the designer used to work for DC/DZ, but I don't remember where. But I think I'm in love.

 

I love the fox boy, he would be such a cute match with my Sumire. But I'm glad the blank doll isn't limited, because that's a far-future thing, if ever.

I've also seen them listed on Legend Doll and on Angelesque, by the way.

Though Legend Doll's event for Foxy/Loxy requires a minimum of $698 that's nearly $200 more than the actual event. o.O And Angelesque doesn't have the little foxes listed. Edit: Now they do! I contacted them and they are participating in the event. I think I'll be going with them for ordering!

I'm seriously considering using part of my tax refund on getting some blank tinies and foxy! For those of you that have ordered, where did you order?

 

I stumbled on this company through some photos elsewhere and I'm super happy to see that they've been ruled on topic for DoA! I wish there was a way for me to get any of the current fox based dolls they're offering - I'll have to stalk second hand sales later on! I'm going to have to subscribe to this thread to see what people buy because everything looks pretty interesting.

I hope whoever is getting the chance to order shares lots of pictures on the boards someday!

I'm editing this post like a week later to come back and go I was completely wrong! After talking with my money sound board (my mother is too patient), I've got Purple and the event doll coming (and an extra and we'll see where that goes). I'm super excited! I haven't had a new doll since 2013!

 

I'm excited about this company too! I've been looking for an infant doll that would be big enough to fit with SD parents, and I think these 1/12 dolls are what I've been wanting. Those yo-size bodies are really detailed and beautiful, too. I'm so tired of tinies with paddle hands. I can't wait to see owner pictures.

 

I was soooo tempted by Ding and Grug but alas I went with a blank Purple (and blank fairy Clorise) - so I also have a lil fox coming!

One day I'll add some babies and the 1/6 bodies to my collection! But I'm full up on dollies for now.

 

Sweet, more blank Purples coming in! Did you order the opened eyed fox or the closed eyed one? I got Loxy the opened eyed one so I'm definitely curious to see if the other one will show up!

 

@HeavensChaos Same - the open eyed one, Loxy! But if by some mistake Foxy arrives instead I won't be too disappointed.

 

I ordered a tan blank Ding from Angelesque. Such an adorable infant doll that I couldn't resist. I'm thinking about possibly a fairy baby with little wings or modding pointed ears.

I ordered a blank purple from angelesque last week! I've been coming up with so many ideas for him, I can't wait until he arrives!

I'm hoping I'll be able to pick one of the little foxes up second hand as well.

I've just ordered a blank Ding doll. I love that they have infant bjd's, and I'm extra happy about being able to shell the baby character that I didn't think I'd be able to shell! I'll definitely be watching them in the future for more.

It'll definitely be interesting to see what kind of baby sculpts they can do or slightly different baby bodies - its not very well expored territory!

 

I can't wait to see some custom faceups on those infant dolls. I wonder if you can hybrid them with pukifees or other tinies.

 

I don't know the exact kind of hybriding you were thinking of but the Dream Valley babies have 3.5cm neck and Pukifees have a 3.2cm neck. I've never hybrid anything together before but that doesn't sound like a insurmountable difference. There's like a 2cm or so different between the sizes of the head though. But I suppose you'd consider pukifee a little bit bobble headed on their bodies yea? Wonder if anyone will have both to do pictures together when they start to come in...

It's probably not on-topic, but I LOVE that one-eyed cat thing. But I think it's a gift? And can't be purchased separately? Maybe?

 

I'm sure you'll be able to buy one second-hand as soon as people start getting their orders. I would think it'd be acceptable as a prop here on DOA.

 

My tan Ding is home! I have to say, if anyone is looking for an infant doll, you won’t be disappointed with Dream Valley. These babies are just stunning! I’m so surprised by the attention to detail, so chubby!

Also, I have some size comparisons with Pukipuki in my Flickr. I feel that the proportions will be off because Ding and Grug have much bigger heads. The S hook for Dream Valley is also much bigger than Fairyland’s Pukipuki, but if anyone wants proper hybrid pics, just ask. I’m going to be body blushing and giving her a face up soon.

 

@WaterGleam Lucky duck! That tan is beautiful! The only thing I regret is not getting one (or both) of the babies. Maybe I'll make that my xmas gift.

My package is on its way. I keep checking every day for updates, and it just made it to NY...so it'll probably be a few more days before I see it on the west coast.

 

Oh, that is beautiful! Honestly, I think I'll be happy with the full doll, I was just wondering if they could be hybrided in case people wanted more variety. Thanks for the comparison photos. Ding is more like Pukifee size, though, I think. Do you have an SD sized doll? I'd love to see how she looks with an SD for a mommy.

 

Oh I just thought about this @SugarFirefly, you have eyes in your Purple in one of your pictures (and I'm not on instagram so I gotta ask here). Are those 14mm like they suggested Purple was shown with in the fullset? I mean, that's what they listed as part of all the stuff and I'm super curious about if that sized worked out or if you tried something else you had on hand.

 

Its been a literal month since my last post so I hope no one minds me posting sorta two in a row but I got my shipping notice from Angelesque! Mine went in on her last order to Dream Valley for the event so I'm really excited I beat five months by a couple weeks! I'm not home for a couple weeks so I'll be seeing if they beat me home or not but I'm still super excited!

 

I like 1/6 dream Valley Cerise. Has anyone ordered her yet?

 

I don't remember seeing someone mention her when I was in the Dream Valley waiting thread the other day and most of these posts are from before she was even released. She's super cute though, I'd have absolutely gotten her to round out my order instead of Rach if she'd been available. Hopefully someone has her incoming that just hasn't piped up yet because I want more pictures too!

 

I really want to see owner pics of Cerise, too. She looks really cute and I love pointy chins, but her official photos have one eye covered most of the time. I'm also wondering if her face is too mature for her size, since my tinies are toddlers.

But! I just got a great price for a tiny head that was kind of a grail for me, and he's going to get a Dream Valley body, as soon as I get funds.

 

To the above person l agree and cool. I just ordered cerise and put her on layaway. Now to research what fits her etc.

Oh that's awesome Captin Janeway. I think they just have the one yo-sd body (well, minus Purple's!) and I have an incoming Rach so if you find their listed measurements lacking I can try to lend a hand in a couple weeks. I can also see how close Purple's body is the basic body - I don't know if anything is specifically changed where that tail is located.

Phew am I rusty on doll photos. I also don't remember the light patterns in this house OTL. But I finally got to open my Purple, Loxy, and Rach over the last couple days and hopefully I'll get some box openings up tomorrow! I love these guys, they're amazing!

I really love their 1/6 bodies, and have a floating head I think they would suit, however it makes me sad that their tan is translucent :c makes it hard to match. Has anyone ordered anything in tan yet? I'd love to see photos of it

 

A tan Ding came in for @WaterGleam a little while back. If you go back a page, they linked a couple pictures of the body and a tan pukifee I believe.

 

@HeavensChaos Wow, how did I miss that when skimming through the thread?! Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction. That actually doesn't even look that much like most translucent resin I've seen! @WaterGleam , would you say that the colour in those photos is pretty true to life?
