~20cm Dolls Dream Valley Adela fullset - Box Opening (Normal Skin)

Hello everyone! Some of you may recognize me as the super chatty dork from the DV waiting room; one of my orders finally came in!

This was my first time ordering from Alice's Collections and it went flawlessly! Alice was really sweet and I look forward to ordering from there again! I ordered them in Normal Skin to see how it would look and I am absolutely enchanted with the result, gives them a lovely fleshtone

Anyways, on to pics! I took....so many, so these are just quick details though >.>

The shipper was covered in tape and each doll's box was safely contained within in its own cardboard box, with lots of foam to keep things in place! I was a bit worried what with all the delicate parts on these guys, but all was well! The event dolls always get a pretty white box, I love it!



Alice even added a sponge (magic eraser?) and some extra eye putty, thank you so much for the extra gifts!

For those who may be curious, Adela and Gary both came with tiny bits of eye putty in their own boxes as well. I never have any on hand so this was a welcome relief for me ^^;


Their eyes are literally little black marbles, way cute!

Foam kept them pretty nicely in place; haven't found a chip or scratch anywhere!

The headcap seam runs under the mouth, both dragons have a cute lil smile under their snouts!


not too much room in there, and Adela's big ears are strung on! Gary's don't appear to be, though.

Posing is about what you'd expect, but I'm a bit scared to move them too much with all the body blushing ^^; Tail is a big help in balancing them to stand!
Sadly as you can see above, Adela's right wing is floppy....scared to restring her and fix it >_>;

When I ordered during the Christmas event Gary was the extra gift doll!

 

I've been gently moving the tail and arms around and i know for sure they can stand and sit! yeah, the blushing is so lovely!! Each spot has like that hand painted swirl going on and its

I like it too Helps the head sit nicely on that thin neck and they have a decent range looking up and down which is awesome! I am supposed to be storing them in my glass display box but I keep taking them out and carrying them around I'm so happy with ny dears

 

I totally forgot to mention it in the waiting roon orz...I love them so much I'm also wondering if anyone knows whether its ok to make a doll profile for the baby dragons?

Thanks so much The dragons really brighten up my room, I'm so glad I went for them!

Okay so i tried to find unblushed parts of my little Azul to compare colors properly (which is why he's headless, sorry everyone ><)
My advice would be to go for normal skin, since this looks pretty close to me~

I did buy my dragon family a while back (early 2019?), so I'm hoping the resin shown here is still true to what DV's releasing now
