I orderd my petcha with default make up

I think that if you choose one of the colors, they will use that color in the face up the most.

 

Well, default color is when the face up artist tries to replicate the face up used on the dolls shown in the photographs on the DoD website. For example, when I ordered my Kirill, if I had chosen to have a default face up for him, the artist would have tried to make the face up resemble the one in the photos as much as they can. Of course, no two face ups can ever be the same, but that's besides the point.

Light brown and other colors are, as Ishje suggests, the base color they use most in the face up. I really wish DoD would show examples of each face up option, but there are lots of things they should do to their website to make it more user friendly too (like list the measurements for all of their dolls for example)

Pink = In every essence, the lips are incredibly pink and the facial blushing is aswell.
Brown/Light Brown = For some reason light brown is darker than brown O-o; i don't know how that works. The main focus is the brown lips, but sometimes depending on the mold i've seen ones with heavy eyeshadow in brown tones aswell.
Peach = I've had this one! It's very very pale with next to no blushing. It has a lovely natural lip colour but it comes with orange eyebrows.
Orange = The lips are tinted towards the orange shade, sort of a more dramatic version of peach.
Default = Same as the pictures on the site.

More and more lately DOD have been incredibly heavy on the cheek blushing. You can request them to do it lightly or heavily, it's alot heavier on the girls.

 

I thought that as well when I choose default make up.
becouse I really liked the face up Petcha has in the company picktures.
but the face up I got in the end was waaaaaay diffrent from Petcha's face up in the picktures.
that was a shame, becouse I did not liked the face up they have given her at all.
I changed it myself within 3 weeks after I got her.
