Oh, xTempest, congrats on your Haru's arival. Sorry for being so late, since I got some troubles with my laptop so I can't reply to any thread here T"T but it's OK now

I was kinda suprised, I didn't know that DOD dolls would have such problems, though I wonder if the DOIs have the same issues...

Well i kinda heard about the pants ans shoe problem from others but yea... didnt expect the SD13 shoes to not fit at all >.< ...

 

Sorry about that, just couldn't find the last thread until now....

 

You can find regular SD shoes that fit you just have to check the inner dimensions to make sure they will fit. DOTs have a bit wider feet than others so finding shoes that fit width wise can be a bit of a pain. Most I find that will fit length wise are too narrow and if I find them that fit width wise they are not long enough XD I only have a few pair of shoes for my dolls and they have to share. I did find luck with the shoes Release Rain has and the boots Loki likes to wear the most are HZ boots.

 

When did Dream Of Doll start making necklaces? The ones they are selling do look nice. I am sure though that Dream Of Doll did at one time have limited accessory's but I never seen them. The ones they have listed now do not seem limited in anyway. Unless I am missing something somewhere. I will most likely pick up the cat one once I get my Tender E-an.(Since they do not seem to be limited.)

If your DOT is into wearing big chunky boots, then honestly getting him an SD17 size won't really make much of a difference in appearance! He's a tall dude, so he'd look fine in oversized shoes. My DOT/SD13s share the SD16/17s' boots quite often.

If they're low-cut shoes, that'd be another story, but tall boots are very forgiving size-wise.

Also try Volks shoes.... Volks guys have wide feet too, so Volks shoes tend to be oversized & generously wide. Sometimes, they size 'em for use with SD13/Gr/16/17 interchangeably. I.e. they look enormous, but they'll fit pretty much everyone in the house. ^^ Their shoes do tend to be $pendy, but they're also great quality.

 

I don't know, is it new? The last time I checked, they don't have necklaces...but I like the cat one too and also the red colour one

 

@Meow-Sakura Yeah they do look nice. (Yes they are new to me as well.) They do seem well done. I even thought of making it into a bracelet for my self or even make it so I can ware it as a necklace. Im talking about the cat necklace.

I am crazy heheh. You two are not crazy. I can't even really tell anyone about this hobby that I know. I am a outcast as it is. My mom(Which is the only person I told.) can barely accept it. she also does not fully know what a bjd is either. She just gets a price in her head(or anything really.) and that is how it is.(I am just glad she has not tried to guilt trip me yet.) Until a stranger tells her otherwise or her other kids or anyone that is not me.

Sorry got a little personal there. I so can't wait for my first bjd. I have been waiting long enough.(For like about 7 years give or take before I even joined this forum.)

My boyfriend won't be happy to hear it, but honestly, yeah. Well, I've thought about getting a regular Camine because he's cute, but what I'm really looking for is one with the fullset outfit. I've never even seen any photos of that one besides the promotional ones so it seems like even more of a long shot. It'd be pretty effing amazing though, I'd love to see all three together as comrades (but these two as a couple is nice). The person that sold me Shall said like only 25 were made... : / aww I like the necklaces on the DOD site too. I like the red sparkly moon thing.

 

hehehe, you don't know how crazy I can get sometimes and I am sort of an outcast in my group too. My mum gets the price thing in her head too but I am using my own money to save for a doll so she doesn't really say anything.....

7 years is pretty long, but I only started saving for a year Well good luck with your saving and all that

lol, that's kind of crazy though; he's totally into his laptop. My msd boy likes to play his nintendo DS, and ignores his girlfriend. (poor girl...)

 

Don't worry, the owner can see things in the doll that the others can't and it proves that you love him very much so you're not going insane

Lol xD You should confiscate that DS :P I take Haru's laptop away when i need him to keep me company (specially when watching horror films). He didnt headbutt me so i guess he likes horror films too xD..

hehe... D.o.D must have knew that im on the computer 24/7 so they made Haru to match my lifestyle xD ...
I know id be grumpy too if some1 took my laptop away...

Code 2 is now going to be on my wish list........ I don't have enough money or space

 

Code is one of the best. I like that he's a bit manlier than the older boys but not over whelming.

 

The mailperson just left the orange notice for Tohma! Didn't knock, didn't ring the doorbell, just put the notice in my box and left! It could not have been my regular mailman, he always rings the doorbell.

I'm so frustrated that I have to wait until tomorrow to get Tohma! *headdesk headdesk headdesk*
