Personality: Sempiternally annoyed at something (or rather anything) if that pouty but lovely expression of his is any indicator, cold when addressing others (or addressing life in general), but quite resigned to any and all attempts at customizations I might try on him. At the very least, he's never complained about it. I admire that on a doll (on a person too). Guess you can say he's stoic, then.
Likes: According to my very scared friends, roaming free at nights when nobody is looking at him and giving people the fright of their lives. Also, sitting there and ponder about existence and the bond between dolls and humans.
Dislikes: Children younger than 5 and adults older than 18 that are always trying to see how he works and what he has inside his head. Literally.

I get the feeling that being a floating head for so long has taken its toll on his sanity. As long as he's near his brother he seems to fare better. Also has the amusing habit of falling in to sultry poses.

He is the 4th son of the Regional Administrator to the Palace, and has won favor in the Emperor’s eyes with his gift of storytelling. Chiang is often a guest at the Palace to amuse the Emperor with his supernatural tales. Little does Chiang know that something (or someone) in the Emperor's Palace will change his life forever.



Note: I went to see about another Dragon Doll boy sculpt, and noticed there are no longer any 70cm boy dolls identified as Dragon Doll on the doll sites I visited; they are all gone. Only the 70cm Telesthesia sculpts remain. Dragon Doll and Telesthesia are sister companies so, I guess, Dragon Doll has basically been absorbed by Telesthesia. Oct 2025.

Personality/Bio: In his current life (he has lived 3 times), Tam is a storm dragon. Yet he despises his serpentine "natural" form. He considers his humanoid shape to be his "true" body. He never takes the serpent form of a dragon, even if threatened, so much does he hate it. For this reason, other dragons consider him strange - even mentally aberrant. He is an outcast amongst the few storm dragons, as well as the other races in the Islands, and even the cloud dragons who raised him have long disowned him. The distaste is mutual. Thus, Tam has come to live his life essentially apart.

The isolation seems to have exaggerated Tam's feelings of alienation, and all the attendant passions it has created in him. Few get to know Tam well; he is a renowned swordsman and warrior. He is also known for his unfailing courtesy to others...and to some, for his volatile temper and short fuse. His lover Silfe compared him to the waters of the Pale Glass Lake near Ariahana's dwelling in the North. On the surface, the waters are smooth and placid as polished glass (hence the lake's name). But as anyone familiar with the Lake knows, it is filled with dangerous currents that can drag swimmers under and overturn fishing vessels. It's an apt metaphor for Tam's temperament. Beneath his calm exterior, he is a man of intense passions. He will lash out at others with no warning, and then just as suddenly return to calm - or that's how it seems. Silfe, at least, is never unaware of the anger that always simmers just beneath the surface.

Note: (About this sculpt). It took me a while to find this sculpt. I wanted a boy that looked rather coarse and sort of brutish. I wanted this vampire to be overtly masculine, and almost ugly, in contrast to most doll representations of vampires, which are generally delicate or androgynous. And, with his heavy jaw and broad nose, he is perfect for my monster. (But is he really a monster? Looks can be deceiving...)
