Since I had a broken wrist this May, I'm sharing a year old photoset that wouldn't have been taken without the support of three amazing friends and proud owners (Belle Jingly, Gobloch, Fëa). Lovely photos. So many set ups to combine into something special. Thank you for sharing this and I hope your arm is getting better quickly.
What a beautiful setup, it looks so real and nice! If it was human sized I would love to be with them
This looks so magical! It’s really really beautiful •~• I love the whole atmosphere with the fairylights!
Beautiful execution of such a sweet idea! I love the flowers and the lighting, and their shadow behind the sheet... really cute!
Sorry to hear about your wrist! I hope it is healing now. This is a wonderful set of photos. I really love the night shots. Can I ask any tips on how you've lit it well enough in low light outdoors? It just looks perfect. Thank you for sharing
What a beautiful party! This is so atmospheric and lovely, I love all the details. I think the 3rd and 4th photos are my favorites. ♥
It's so hard to do night photos, and yours are spectacular! I love all the tiny details, also. It looks like a party I'd like to attend!
@animemom Thank you very much! It's much better now. I hope to make some more photos this summer. @melie59 Thank you. I like a realistic setting for a photo shoot. It's important for me to draw the person looking at the photo in, as if they were part of it all. @Kakaotee Thank you so much! That's exactly what I was trying to do. To make it like a dream you don't want to wake up from. @Havra Thank you! I really appreciate your beautiful words. @saraquill Thank you! It would be better if I had better control of my camera. @AlisonVonderland Thank you very much! Your words made me very happy! My photos would be better if I owned a tripod. Keeping a longer time in hand is difficult. It's very important for night photography. I don't really control my camera well enough to be happy with it, and it wouldn't be good without additional editing of shadows etc. I recommend reading some articles on the internet about night photography. It has given me a lot. I would use more light sources and reflective surfaces next time. Our light sources were real tiny oil lamps, two paper lanterns, 4-5 strings of xmas lights, and a flashlight behind the sheets. And a reflective board. It needed some more lights... @Idoru Thank you so much! I like to plan every big photo shoot ahead of time and come up with the details, props and colour schemes. Studying other BJD photographers' photos has given me a lot in this regard. @CheshireCat Thank you very much! I'm glad you like it. I've spent a lot of time preparing of the details, as well as what the scene should look like. Of course, in real life, it'll turn out a little differently. So the moment it got dark enough that all the lights spread out in the garden made the scene magical, I ran out of card space in my camera. I wanted to cry. I'm laughing about it today. But it's funny how every great photo session includes obstacles that you don't foresee but can learn from. However, I still remember this evening as the most beautiful BJD event I've organized with my friends. However, keeping a longer time in hand is difficult.
I love these photos! You somehow were able to make them very realistic and magical at the same time! I hope your wrist is healing well.
Amazing and detailed photos! I love them! I am very sad you broke your wrist! I hope it heals 100% better.
