Specific Doll Domuya ID?

      I snagged this girl last week online and I'm trying to figure out exactly which sculpt she is. She's tagged as being made in 2009 on her head. She's an old girl for a BJD but she's in nice shape. She's on the first Domuya Flexi body with the flex feet. She came with extra leg parts and 2 pairs of resin shoes that came in Domuya packaging. I think she's Alice but I'm not 100% sure. There are so many Domuya sculpts that look rather like her.

      I just want to know which doll she is. I know she's a legit doll. There's no fakes out there for Domuya that I can find but no paperwork came with and I just want to know who she is. I never did figure out who my 16" Domuya was. But she should be easier to ID as the bigger dolls were produced more.

      I really like these Domuya dolls. I read on here that the flex feet were not popular but I like them a lot. Not having to change feet to go from flats to heels IMHO is kind of cool. TY!

    2. If you haven't looked through the wayback machine at the Domuya site from back then, it may help a lot? This capture is from February 2009 and is of the standard 60 section, which is what she'd be under given she's on the original Flexi body and not the newer version. I would say it looks close to a Rei but I'm unsure for sure on that given how rare information is on them (I got a body secondhand recently and finding the info on it was a bit of a struggle lol).

      The feet on the flex bodies are genuinely so so nice, especially for posing and weirdly restringing? I find it easier to restring with the feet and hands being the way they are. The body was so so ahead of its time in a lot of ways imo :)

    3. Hello! I believe she is Domuya Faith on flexi-perennial body v1. + extra model legs. Tan skin, probably. Default faceup.
      I also own Faith so you can check my profile page or instagram Login • Instagram
      and compare, i have few photos.:)


      This body is fantastic poser and with model legs Is really tall. Flex feet works fine for me.
      Restringing is a bit complicated because of her construction, but still manageable.

    4. She's not Faith I don't think. I've been eying pics of her and it looks like Faith has more of a bottom lip than this doll from what I've seen in pics. I'll take a look at yours but I think she's closer to Alice than Faith. The Alice pics the eyes are identical I think. It's hard to tell in the pics I've seen of Alice but I think she's closer to Alice than Faith. Faceups it's hard to tell and Domuya they really look a lot alike sometimes. There's just small differences. Plus there's not loads of pics being as the company folded. I still can't ID my little 16" girl at all.

      I really like this company's dolls though from what I've seen of my 2. They may be hard to ID and pin down but this body is amazing, especially the feet!
