    2. I have a Kkotmu, her name is Oskadis:

Her "butt up" was by PamSD :)

    3. I bought Kkotmu here on DOA and got Zoomok from Domado on ebay. My last LJ post has pics of them. http://1olly.livejournal.com/

I love them! They pose well and are even sweeter in person.

Clochette, I am so jealous of Oskadis's butt up! Its really lovely

    4. I just received an e-mail form Domadoll about the rereleases of the domadoll girls that we were waiting for so long! It was an e-mail offering an advance order for those who were sending many messages to them to ask for the girls and waited a long time the official opening of the sales will be withing the week , I'm sure most of you received such a message too! I couldn't accept though, too many expanses but i'll sure place an order later next month maybe, there are only 20 of them for now but more will come the next few months, here is a part of the e-mail :

      Rest of the pictures here:

      http://www.domadoll.com/070716/domadoll_kkotmu.htm

At last!!! They are super cute!!! The hor idea was perfect and it's nice that they offer a discount within the event, it was a bit difficult to understand the whole message but I think that was what they meant with these prices, they will be selling them in that price for that period 'cause we waited for a really long time! Can't wait to be able to order mine later...love the new versions

    5. No, she is the new body with the undeveloped chest. Which is fine with me, but she did come with the Unicorn horn. The horn is very, very tiny, really rather cute! Kkotmu herself looks like a little elfspirit anyway, no horsebutt needed to prove she is magical! (yeah--I really like her!):aheartbea

Here is her chest and her Unicorn horn
      [IMG]
I also have to add that she sits perfectly straight and well balanced without any problem. Not many can do that!

    6. Bwahahahahahaha..

That was my doll. You must buy one.. we will take over the world. :)

Yeah, the legs can be a little problematic. I think sueding will help too. I find it harder to do any *different* posing on smooth surfaces other than the normal standing upright. I wonder if putting something on the bottom of the hooves (like felt or something) will help?

      LM

    7. I would test one of the inside of the joints with a teeny weeny bit of hot glue and see how it reacts. I bet a dollop of hot glue on each hoof (in the shape of a wee little horseshoe of COURSE) would help a lot!

Honestly I find I have difficulties with ANY doll that is not sueded and wired, but that is a personal preference.

It doesn't make me stop wanting one. :3

    8. You should find more info and pictures by searching for domadoll (one word) or kkotmu

Also apparently there are new body measurements member CathyM gave me which I have not yet put in the tiny chart (and I never had full measurements for the old body!)

      New Unisex Kkotmu measurements:
      Company : Domadoll
Main English Sales Site : www.domadoll.com
      Doll Model : Kkotmu (Human)
      Genders : U
      Height : 28cm
      Head size : 6.5(inch)
      Eye size : 12cm
      Foot length : 4cmx1.5cm
      Chest : 12.5cm
      Waist : 12cm
      Hips : 13.5cm

    9. Yes, they're close in scale to Bambicrony or Ru, with a little more maturity to their body shape and slightly thicker in the arms and legs. She fits nicely in Barbie tops and skirts.

My Kkotmu, Oskadis, is from the first group sold, so I had to get her front hooves later as she only came with human feet initially. Her buttup is by PamSD.

    10. She was painted by PamSD, when I got her she was NS tone all over. The tails are glued in, so you have to pull them out to replace them. Right now it's just kind of shoved in there, so it's not terribly secure. I plan to insert a little rare-earth magnet in there, and make interchangeable tails for her.

    11. i received my domadolls yesterday, everything are perfect except the kicking legs issue. althought i change one of them into human body. the kicking legs issue still not resolve.. is it the stringing too tight?

    12. Love your dolls! I have Domadolls and They can be a little kicky, esp when tight ... loosen the stringing just a bit and then if you still are unhappy, I would suede them. I have not sueded mine yet .. but plan to after the holidays. Sueding helps so much

    13. Could someone please tell a newbie exactly what sueding is? I have a couple of tinys that are very kicky and while we inserted pipe cleaners into the joints, it doesn't seem to have helped much. Is there something else I can do?

      Karen

    14. Sueding is when you glue pieces of suede (rough side out) to the socket of the doll to help the ball stay into place. For tinies there was a guy on ebay selling plither, which is really thin.
Like this .. poor Coco, this is an embarrassing shot
      [IMG]

    15. FYI, sueding can also be accomplished with hot glue, which in my personal experience is easier and works a lot better. They don't call me the "Hot Glue Fairy" for nothing. ;)

    16.
    17. What is "plither"? I tried ultrasuede on a tiny today and it did not work for me - still too slippery...

      Darn!

    18. I had a Domadoll Kkotmu who would absolutely not stand! I normally don't like sueding or wiring as I like my dolls to have movement, but this was annoying!
I hot-glue sueded all her joints, then I gave her a re-stringing, and she posed like a dream thereafter!

Dandelion Fair: Pliver is a super thin suede. Personally I don't like to use suede, I find the hotglue works much better and there's nothing to cut or try to fit... and no dark spots at the joints!

Basically you just heat up your glue gun, and smear a bit in the cleaned joint cup. Sometimes it doesn't take or pops out if the joints are too smooth. You can sand them a little if so for adhesion. I've seen some people just apply a dot of glue, and it worked.

      Raven

    19. hi ravendolls, i tried the hot glue sueded. they'r much better now :)

    20. Yes there is danger of melting. Be sure to use a low-temp glue gun.

      Hot Glue discussion thread here:
      http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80054

    21. Hot glue will not hurt her. Just hold the metal tip carefully. The glue itself doesn't get THAT hot. My Kkotmu was not too kicky, but her ARMS! The elastic was so tight I had to CUT it to change it. Now she is fine.

    22. they are uni-Zoook & uni-Jado. on their firt trip to Singapore Doll Affair
      [IMG]

    23. Hi tiny doll lovers . . .

Just thought I'd ask if anyone knows how to change a Domadoll Kkotmu from her human body to her centaur body. My girl wants to be a centaur for awhile and I don't know how to do it. :|

Perhaps there is a pictorial tutuorial *laughs* that explains how to do it. Do you know? Look forward to any helpful replies! :sweat

      Thanks!! Keeley Keena

    24. You have to completely restring the bottom portion of her.
I have a Jado. I'll take pictures and try to put together a pictorial for it.

      Edit: And done!
      View the Pictorial/Tutorial here!

    25. I saw this doll on ebay 2 years ago and I now I wonder where to buy her if it's possible <3

    26. I'm quite sure it's a Domadoll Jado, you can buy her on the Domadoll site (http://domadoll.com/new/index.htm). Look under Order -> Click order for Uni-Jado (on the second page). She's a real cutie! :)

    27. Here's my little girl:

She's a little uncooperative at posing, but not too bad. And she sure is cute. The horn attaches with a magnet inside her head, plus she comes with a human pelvis and feet (you use the front legs). She really is sweet and I'm so glad I got her!

    28. Barbie stuff fits her pretty well.

    29. Oskadis wears clothing from the 11" Xena dolls. It works very well, especially Gabrielle's outfits.

    30. The Domadoll Centaur is still available and is absolutely adorable. I altered a 12 inch doll fashion to create a lovely fashion for my girl. Controlling those 4 legs is an art, but she is worth it! AnnMarie

    31. Yep DomaDoll does layaway. SO I bought myself a Sanmanual at a $100 a month for the next six months! Oy! It will be ages until this little boy is on my door step

Yes I am very excited. I have been wanting a dark haired Centaur for many MANY years. Now its just a few short months before this dream will be realized!

    32. Look who managed to find his way here all the way from Korea! Manged to find extra funds here and there to speed the layaway along.

Poor guy is naked and I haven't quite figured out how to change him to centuar status. I wonder if DaisyDae {thats her name right?} has any faun legs that will work for him! Really like him lots more in person. And I liked him plenty just looking at pictures!

    33. Look! He is a centaur now.

    34. She was a challenge to pose. Trying to get all four legs behaving is a little tricky. I haven't named her yet-she is a Kkotmu on the domadoll site. I am going to go in the ice/fantasy/unicorn direction with her. She makes me think of the move "The Last Unicorn." I LOVED that movie... I am thinking to do some sort of elven outfit with a cloak or something...

    35. I just recently sold my Domadoll Kkotmu. I suggest sueding, esp the centaur legs, it'll make posing so much easier.
She can fit into most Barbie size tops and skirts -esp if they are stretchy! - and Ken size pants.

    36. OK, even still it´s quiet in here, I´ll post a pic of my Milma. <3 She is very sweet, but I plan to make her a small makeover to get her a bit more personality. She does look a little bit too sad for me.

    37. I amwaybehind on this thread but I bought my Jado second hand and he is lovely. I had himpainted in about three different styles as a centaur but hated all of them...I even tried to make him look like a girl!
He was not impressed with any of the styles so after nearly a year I made him into a human and bingo there he was. If daisydayes ever does more faun legs he will really suit those, but we couldn't get on with the centaur body!

I think it would be better if the horse parts and/or all of him was a darker colour as the NS is hard to paint. I even had him as a steampunk robot/cyborg...

    38. Is this really the only thread for Kkotmu? No activity since 2006?!

I have a hybrid, a Domadoll Kkotmu on a 20cm Doll-Love body. (I shortened the neck of the body and made the neckhole of the head larger.)

    39. Here's my Domadoll Sanmaul, Jenite:

    40. Lately, I haven't seen many Domadolls around... Are they not popular anymore?

    41. Sunshinejade, Domadoll is an artist making her dolls herself, not a company. By her Flickr notes, at the moment she´s expecting a baby (maybe even had the baby so far, I don´t know?) and it´s been very quiet as understandably she´s probably busy with preparing for the new arrival, and working with resin may be bad for the baby? I´d assume she would have dolls ready made for sell.

Every time I´ve been dealing with her, she´s been such a lovely person and I don´t think there´s going to be problems with your order.

I´d suggest you to ask confirm for your order by email or Flickr mail, in the case she has not noticed it or something else. Here is her Flickr site: http://www.flickr.com/photos/domadoll/

    42. My Sanmaul got a new wig and new clothes:

    43. Keladry, that is a lovely photo of a lovely doll! :) The outfit suits him great!

    44. My Kkotmu also got a new outfit in the swap:

    45. I will be cleaning and reorganizing the Domadoll tiny threads.
If you see important FAQ posts. Let me know by PM and I will put links in first posts.

    46. Gosh I can't believe the last message was ten years ago! Sorry if this is the wrong thread to post in, but I just got a domadoll kkotmu! She'd always been a grail doll for me, I loved her little melancholy face, but I never got one back when I was more into bjds. Recently I looked at the domadoll site and was daydreaming, and then a little later, it was all gone!

I think the artist has moved on to other projects, which is totally understandable and I am very excited for her, but I did feel like it was a "door closed" sort of thing. I was browsing images of domadoll kkotmu one day, and I found one on mercari japan for a very good second hand price! She didn't have the centaur parts or the horn, and she had that classic yellowing (after ten years I'm not surprised!) but I took a bit of a gamble and got her using Buyee (an app/site that helps people outside of Japan buy things from Japan Mercari, auctions, etc).

She just arrived yesterday, I realize I don't have a wig for her! I need to make her one, but a pair of Gumdrop Java Frost eyes fit her perfectly. She's also bigger than my blythe dolls so she doesn't have anything to wear, but that's okay, I will whip something up for her :) I also plan on hot glue sueding her joints. Will post some photos once she is more presentable, haha!

Never thought I'd be getting a domadoll kkotmu in 2022, but who knows anymore! This was a fun little surprise and I'm excited to work on her and see what her character is like <3

    47. @spacemachine, congratulations on finding your kkotmu! :celebrate

Domadolls are delightfully quirky; I'm fortunate to own a ZooOk centaur boy, as well as an SD-size Geul. I occasionally look in on the artist's Instagram, and see she's busy with all sorts of interesting art projects. Sometimes she's posted pic of her old doll creations, too.

    48. Congratulations on finding one! I'm not sure how many are out there, which is a shame because it's an amazing doll. She should be able to wear a standard 6/7 wig, that's what I use on Oskadis. You should also be able to use some Barbie outfits for her while you are working on her clothing.
