I'm probably a real bad influence, Anthony--but I sure see what you mean by wanting Maki and F-38 at the same time! Those two are just... I don't have words to describe them--but they have that look that just makes you surrender--surrender your wallet and all your credit cards!

I think F-38 can also be the more mature version of SD13 Maki Tsuyoshi--super sexy! OMG!!! I'm really really resisting this time because I'm saving up for my first FCS girl~

If you ever decide to get either one, please show us pictures--I really really want to see that F-38 head wearing sexy dark framed eyeglasses--and a sleek suit like the one Maki is wearing.

On my commute home today, I daydreamed about the clothing styles I would dress Maki or F-38 if I owned them.

 

Oh Help! I had just pruned and seeded the crew to be exactly right...three Yo, Anais, and Lusis 1.0 twins.

AND THEY BRING OUT SWEET DREAMS TAE!!! How can I not have SwD Tae?? Should I harden my heart...or sell the Lusis twins?? They just got here!!!

But Anais wants Tae!!
Am I doomed to never be done in the marketplace??

Bad Bad Alithéa I thought you were my friend... But no seriously the F-38 has got to be mine some way or another I've been in love with this doll since the first time I layed eyes on him. I have never had a more clear picture in my head of what I wanted a doll of mine to look like really. And he is coming home DARN IT!!!! The only reason I am holding off on just going through a deputy and getting is the hope Volks will offer him as an FCS option during the NYC Dolpa 3 in June

I would vary much love the experience of doing my own FCS one day, and it would be beyond amazing for my first time to be the F-38 (Sounds kind of dirty, but what the heck)....

And as for Maki Tsuyoshi I don't know why I even TRIED resisting that gorgeous hunk of resin.... To me he is the perfect mix of a Cristal and Lucas Cristal and Lucas had a Baby and they named that gorgeous little hunk Maki Tsuyoshi and here he is, and I'm so doomed because I am head over heels in

If I do end up with a Maki, like my F-38 he will only be in Modern or Victorian tailored suits

Hmm, I don't think Maki looks much like the F38, but more like an even more boyish version of Liz. Which suits my purposes just fine since the character's father is a Cristal boy

If I am lucky enough to snag a Maki head after the dolpa, I'll be more than happy to post comparison shots of it with my F38 boy who will be home by then more than likely!

I already know that I want the Maki fullset. But does anyone know if photos of the dolpa outfits have been put up on the web yet? Just the regular merchandise. Im so eager to see those pics.

 

I truly know how you feel about trying to resist a doll that's calling your heart! That happened to me with Okita Souji on the Kyoto Dolpa 5~ Gosh... I'm still reeling from the fact I won him! ^w^

I'm still mixed feelings with Maki Tsuyoshi since I really wanted a much more mature-looking male doll to be in a suit. But that's just me. I think I'm completely safe from him if I don't stare too long at his pictures!

And you are right about the Cristal and Lucas mixing in Maki--I see Cristal definitely in his eyes.

You know I checked for pictures of Cristal and those eyes just started begging me to take her home? I think she's beautiful~

Now I think I have a weakness for dolls with that brooding sort of look!

You have no idea how hard it was for Volks to sit on their collective hands until you actually bought the other head, and then, FINALLY, they could release Maki.

Was I the only one who looked at the Sixh dress set, saw the belt, and thought for one brief, beautiful moment that it was a cat o' nine tails?

My dear rkold is ordering him for me in a couple of weeks, I am so excited! I'm hoping to have him by the end of June, though they did surprise me with my F33 by getting him done ahead of schedule.

And I so will spam him, Cloud misses his Leon.

 

Volks, why you gotta be hatin' on me like that? But I will get my Maki head, oh yes, and then the perfect little family will almost be complete.

Considering some of the questionable things Volks has produced in their time...I wish we'd get some naughty SD stuff from them.

 

wow, I have to get the h.naoto sets now. I'm a huge h.naoto fan. I love the clothing. I love the other sets of clothing there offering too as well. It's going to be a clothing dolpa for me again lol.

I really like the green gingham Yo-SD set. For that much clothing and such nice boots, it's a very good price! I may indulge in that when it makes its way to the USA store.

And now the more I look at Sweet Dreams Tae, the more I like her better than normal Tae! Ahh, I have a feeling I'm going to waffle between both versions until the lottery starts :/.

I sorta wish I had the funds for two dolls from this Dolpa, because I still see a lot of Cristal in Maki. He would make an awesome brother for my Rei . Ah well, pipe dream is a pipe dream.

 

liking the yo's more and more..arg, but theyll be expensive on the after market. ever since i held one at a doll meet ive been totally swayed @_@ that bodys wonderful and the size is great. i dont have a doll that size on my wishlist. (whats this? im trying to persuade myself or something?!) nana is my favourite but i would like to customise them

i love leeke pumpkin, too, but the four sister are gorgeous and i much prefer the body. arg~~ cant companies just stop realising dolls for a year T_T

I have a question. I had my eyes on a SD16 girl for very very very long time. I decided that I finally MUST get one. I don't mind if she is Olivia or Amelia or Garnet, because I adore them all!

My questions is simple. Is there any way, for someone who lives outsite Japan and has virtualy no chance to attent at the dolpa, to aquire the limited Olivia Morgan that will be appearing in this occasion, without buying her through the secondary market?

 

Same question except that I'm interested in the four sister YoSDs.

 

Seconded! Normaly they have the shoes for sale that the show with the dress sets. If so I need those shoes as well =X

I'm pretty sure Olivia will be avaliable during the After Event (for those around the world) and on VolksUSA (for those in the USA). No word on tho Yos as of yet though, in japan they will be only available at the actually dolpa so people wonder if the online After Event or Volks USA will have them. Have a look at the Dolpa FAQ linked in my sig as to how to acquire the LE dolls

OMG OMG ~ squee @ the new dresses! Oh, if only the black one didn't have polka dots on it... *hates polka dots and wishes they'd burn in hell*.

I'm glad I don't really like any of the dolls this time... (well except for saber ;0; but she's way out of my price range... I like Maki too but he's too mature for me :<...) but the outfits are !

 

I really like that MSD Pink Frilly One piece dress shown on page 41. I am hoping that the shade of pink would match the BTSSB MSD shoes that I got from the Kyoto Dolpa 5 AE.

But judging from the pictures, the MSD Pink Frilly One piece dress looks more pinky pink than the BTSSB MSD shoes--which is greyish pink. :\
