Dolpa 19 discussion

Clothes gone so FAST this time!! I was only able to pickup one kimono and unable to pickup another set...there is only 20 sec. difference !! ....anything, things happend

 

Some of the limited outfits are still available to buy!

Also, there's some Sumika items left so if you haven't done your shopping yet, here's your chance.

 

I got my shipping confirmation today, but I'm not too sure if Volks is actually sending my package to my new address. They never responded back to my email prior to this. What should I do now? D=

 

Midori: Talk to UPS about a mail redirect? Volks goes through UPS, I believe. At least, that's how my stuff is coming this week.

 

I placed a request with USPS to forward my mail to my new address since I usually get my stuff from Volks International through them. We'll see if it works or not. Either way, it's not a major problem since my old address is my parents' house... I just don't like them opening my mail if I get any. So nosey... =/

 

I think Lovecraft is right though, you should also contact United Parcel Service (UPS) and see if they can update your address too. Sometimes the USPS (US Postal Service) takes a little while to update, and other carriers deliver to the address the sender specifies regardless.

 

My stuff is coming either today or tomorrow.

It's so fast! My boys will have undies now (not that they didn't have any before) but nicer ones~

 

I got my shipping notice today, which means (hopefully) new clothes for Renee in time for Doll North X3

 

It's weird, I think some dolls are still available, at least Olivia. Do they sell everyday at 7?

 

I don't think so. They just have whatever they have in-stock available at the website until it's all sold out.

Volks began shipping out dolls. I got my shipping notice for Olivia today. That's fast! I thought it'd take upto 10-14 days as stated in their JP site.

FYI, some of the Sumika items are still available online.

I'm also so excited for other people getting their dolls from the After Event! Can't wait to see photos~

Congrats! I'm quite surprise that there are plenty of those outfits left.

 

Was it the SD17 one? Or the SD10/13 outfit? At their price, Im not so surprised to see them still in stock. But Im still surprised to have seen Olivia in stock. So tempting! But Im resisting any more doll purchases until NYDP3.

Daniel Falls - No, it was the SD16 girl one - the one o/f that I couldnt get through volksusa oddly enough!
You'll like the Olivia outfit I think - I was able to get just the outfit and it looks great on her!

I got my items, too! I'll try to find time to take pictures of my Yuki-chan wearing his skivvies~

 

I got my items today. I was worried since it said it was delivered to my home earlier and no one at home got it. O__o

The Minty Kiss Set really goes with my DoC Twin-B. I had no problems putting it on except with the skirt. It's a tad tight. It looks a whole lot better in person though. I hadn't tried out the Strawberry Kiss set yet. We'll see how that goes.

 

I wish I could get the Olivia...

 

FYI, there's an Olivia in YJ at pretty low price tag. I think it's the lowest I've ever seen since her release. Almost close to the price in Volks website. Hope this is a good news for Olivia's pursuers.

Was Olivia really that hard to get? I checked out the Volks International website last week, and I put an Olivia in my cart. I was about to check out, since it was so easy to get her but decided against it. I decided that I should just save my money for New York Dolpa instead.

Its sad that some of you were not able to get her.

 

OMG I TOTALLY missed this AE.... now i need to wait for Volks usa and not miss it..

 

She might be easy to get, but the money isn't, lol!

it's my first time getting my first SD from After Event website~ ^w^ sorry to pop out with a newbie question in here ^^;;; i was just wondering, if y'all having the same situation like me XD; please guide me~ thanks in advance~~~

i manage to get SD Tae into my cart on that day,received my first comfirmation email right after i checked out my cart. then, today i got the second comfirmation email from volks, they comfirmed my payment and :

does this mean, she might be deliver EARLIER than what have Volks scheduled to deliver by the end of June? ^_^ i hope they really mean within a few days ~ i cant wait to fetch her home soon~ very soooon~ yay

 

Sounds like it. That would be so nice, as I know I have a while to wait on my Maki. And it is the end of June, and not July?

 

If you get a doll through the international after event, they usually ship right away. If you get it through Volks USA, they ship it to the store by a slower method, then ship from the store to you so it takes longer.

I won my Maki through welovedolls.com and I know he'll be a week later than everyone else's but I couldn't remember if it was June or July. July means he'll be a birthday gift to myself.

 

July, I think I won the h.naoto outfits from welovedolls they said it as going to arrive in July. not to much longer

So do we know when the Dolpa 19 clothes will hit VolksUSA? I'm assuming mid to late June? I want one outfit and a pair of shoes, but I don't want to buy them on Yahoo!Japan since it'll be a lot cheaper to wait until they appear on VolksUSA.

 

I'd sure like to know this too - I missed the after event completely!
Hope someone will post to this thread when the date is announced for the Volks US site.

Has Volks USA started shipping the SD Tae or Sweet Dream Tae yet? Will they inform you when they ship the packages?

I have a question for those who pick up their Dolpa-won dolls from the Torrance store:

The dolls generally come in the same weekend as the Sumika items, right? If that's how it usually is, I may email Volks and ask them if I can pick my Tae up from the store on the 27th. I'm in the area that weekend and it would be wonderful to pick her up rather than waiting for her to ship.

Yay! I got some of that stuff through the After Event and now I can try for the rest. I'm really glad they added the Anniversary items as well. I'd love to get some of the other button sets and the cute brush. *lol*

 

I would love to go for some of the Yo items. The little pink and white set is adorable or do i like the little red riding hood set best??? Hopefully little Kira will be here by then and she can help me decide.

 

Does anyone know if the SD16 Girl Kimono set will fit an SD13 girl? I understand it will be long but I worry the obi won't close

 

Sd13 girls have thicker waistlines so I doubt it would close.

But then only a few modifications on the obi and it would probably fit.

 

I just spent some money on several outfits last month. I dunno if I should get more. =x

 

I would love those cell phone straps but I'll be at Comic Con that day with no internet

The cell phone strap is great! They were for sale at NYC Dolpa and I picked some up for myself and my little sister. I'm hoping to get some more buttons for mine.

I'm going to try for some Yo stuff, I think...that little pink marshmallow outfit is just too sweet, and I fear my incoming Yo Megu will pine without it. (She's not even here yet and she has three outfits already...)
